Ace was shuffling things in the dark as he was trying to find the cigarettes and the lights. He cursed inwardly when he heard the thunder outside.

The little light was peaking through the barely opened door as it went off, followed by the bang of the door shutting closed.

"For God's sake, please tell me you didn't lock it.."

Rain jumped up hearing the male voice and, without anything to hold onto, lost her footing falling on her ass.

"Ouch!"

Her soft voice made Ace realise that it was a girl. He had hoped that it was not one of those attention-seeking girls he normally saw outside.

He hated such girls. No, scratch that, he hated every girl. To have feelings for someone, spending all their time and money on them, making her the center of the world, he chuckled and even pitied the thought. He thought that was impossible for him or rather it was something he would never want.

Rain's eyes moved rapidly, as she heard her name. Her body, too tired to move, while her brain had already started getting up.

Was it her mom? How was it possible?

Her eyelids moved, trying to open. She could feel few presences around her, dark figures, but she wasn't still able to open her eyes.

"Dwarf you are sweating, you need to stop wearing hoodies to bed"

Sebastian was standing near her bed. There was no way that anyone else could have been in the room before him, not even her Mom.

"Do you think ghosts exist?" Rain sat up pulling a sheet around her and Sebastian sat, dangling his legs.

"You mean the days you put on make-up or..?"

Rain punched on Sebastian's arm and stretched her arms, yawning.

"Reid came home late night and left early" Sebastian stood and moved back to his bed.
