chapter 10: scared

Jace's POV.

"sir,I saw a island here but I don't know if it's big enough to build a resort".I said while typing something on my phone, I'll make sure that Anastasia is safe,last time while she's sleeping,her dad stole her phone and read some messages on it,he said to me that "don't let Anastasia fall in love with her ex again".

of course I won't let her!

he's my boss so I need to follow his commands and also my heart.

"where? is there an island in your phone?".he asked while trying to see what's on my phone.

"n-nothing,I'm just playing crossword sir".I said but he knows that I'm not interested at playing anything,I'm easily to get bored but when I'm with her,I never felt bored,in fact I can't stop smiling when I'm talking to her.

it's just like magic..

we're in helicopter right now,this is my first time to ride using helicopter,imagine going to the school using this? oh man,maybe girls will chase me after that.

"that island is too small,let's find more bigger".her dad said so we change location and find a perfect spot for Anastasia new resort,maybe she forgot about her 20th birthday and his father wants to gave him a resort where she can relax anytime she feels sad.

what a rich man,I wanna be like him in my own hard work and I will mary Anastasia if that's happen.

I'm in love men but I can't confess my love right now,maybe saying that I like her is enough.

she don't need this,she needs her bodyguard,it's me..

"you know? my daughter thinks I don't care for her,but the truth? whenever I'm working,he's the reason why I'm still doing it even that I have a lots of money already".he said,I wish me too.

"of course not,if you're my dad I will be contented for what I have but I can't just judge Anastasia sir,I know she want a complete happy family,that makes me wanna marry her and--".I said.

"I'm sorry sir haha!".I said and we both laughed,just imagining her carrying my baby makes me blush but damn it! Im not billionaire yet.

"I will buys this island,let's take it a picture! hurry up Jace! capture it!".

"wait sir! I only have two hands!".i said and capture the big island below us,I think we can also build hotels on it,I wonder how much it cost.

"I wanna surprise my daughter!".he said and take a selfie.

"I wanna surprise him too! I will buy her necklace".

"like what?".

"a nature inspired necklace,peaceful and fresh haha!".

"I can buy her many of that but thank you for taking care for my daughter,I will give your salary in advance,good job!".he pat me in my head like I'm his son and we landed in the island that we choose.

"I hope, she'll love it! I will pay all the money I have left on this island, I hope she doesn't refuse, I'm about to weaken, I won't allow my daughter to have a family without a business, what can I do for you to marry my daughter now?".my boss asked me so gasped in shock.

"..even if I like it sir, I know he doesn't want me".I said when he suddenly smirk.

"she doesnt like you but you two are kissing? is there anything like that?".I gasped again and cover my mouth,how did he know that? the fuck! it's a good thing nothing happened to us that day cause it was a big shame!

" don't worry,I'm not mad,I think it's normal,you two are dating for a month right? here,when the two persons are dating it means they're in a relationship,I don't know if my daughter knows that".

It's like we've been in a relationship secretly, right?

"we were just flirting sir but I'll think about your request, I just hope her stupid ex doesn't come back..".

"thank you Jace,It's a good thing you're here, I won't trust anyone else so I hope you don't waste my trust okay?".

"yes sir!".I said and salute to him,we both laughed and inhaled some fresh air.

"then I will named this island...Jatacia,today you're already my daughter's secret fiancee".he said and laughed by himself,I think this is not a good idea.

I'm afraid to hope, I may not have fallen in love yet but I've experienced having a crush, it's scary especially if the relationship between the two is uncertain.

what if her ex come back and she already forgot about me? he will lose time and ignore me,that hurts men!

..but is this normal for men to fall in love so fast?

"let's go Jace,we're going back to the hotel and tomorrow we'll buy souvenirs so go to bed early because we have a lot to buy".I just nod and entered the helicopter,

I thought so deeply and I didn't even notice that we had been together for a long time,maybe I'm just scared falling Inlove but how will I gonna stop it if I knew in myself I couldn't.

"is there a problem? you're acting wierd, did I say something wrong?".he asked me.

"n-nothing sir,I'm just confused and scared for something..".I said and stared at her photos on my phone. "sir..is there anything wrong with being afraid to love?".

"nothing, if you're sure in what you feel,there's nothing to afraid of,why?".he asked me.

"sir...let me court your daughter,I-i don't know if it's normal to fall Inlove in just a short period of time but let me express my feeling by--".

"then court her,I'm not stopping you,make sure that she'll fall Inlove with you too,I can't wait to have a grandson..".
