Ch 6: New Friends

Silvia pov:

Mother told me to become the princeses friend and lead her on the right path. I tried to refuse mother… but she's scary when she's serious. She went on and on about how this was the chance to salvage the royal family from decay. She used a ton of other words I can't understand either. In the end she made me accept.

When I arrived at the academy today she made me wait at the front until the princess has gotten her schudule. She told me that I needed to take every class with her to put her on the right path… I can barely talk to other people anyway. She's even the child of the queens who make my mom mad all the time. I really want to run away…

As I was dwelling in despair of my circumstances. My mother finally realized I was having a hard time. Mother seeing me like this told me. "If you help me make the princess into a good queen then I'll buy you all the books, movies, or games you want. Does that sound good." My mother may be scary, but at least she's kind from time to time, and this was a big offer. She had never offered me anything of the like before!

She's usualy strict on how much money I can spen on my hobbies. So this must really be important to her. I feel scared about doing this, but I may never get another chance! So I accepted her offer with a huge smile "Yes!Please!" She then told me I should get in line now, since the princess just got into line. I then got in line, and quickly reached the front desk. I introduced myself to the lady at the desk. "My name is…. Umm… Silvia…. Silvia Listlewood" I did it I managed to introduce myself. I was in a state of euphoria!

It was sadly shortlived since the lady at the desk handed me my schedule and with a pitying voice said. "Good luck with the princess Silvia. She commands a precence…" I don't know what to really think of her reply, but she called the next person in line and I had to leave. I decided to walk to my first class and relax a bit before the princess arrives. She probably is out and about if she is anything like how mother describes the queens.

When I got to class I saw a single girl sitting and studdying from a notebook. She had long black hair and looked engrossed in her notebook. The princess had black hair so I decided to see if I can get a peak at her eyes to be sure. Surely enough she brushed her hair behind her ears. It was then I saw her beautiful emerald eyes. This was the first time I ever actually saw someone from the royal family. I had heard that their emerald eyes are very pretty, but on this girl they made her look like a goddess. I was enchanted for a time, but eventually regained my wits.

I thought to myself 'Ok SIlvia. The princess may be beautiful, but she might be like the queens who I've heard so much about. I took a deep breath and steeled myself. I walked in and sat next to the princess, and when I had her attention I decided to introduce myself.

Lysthea pov:

Silvia let out the cutest "eep" I ever heard when I told her my conviction. She looked completely dumbfounded with her lip quivering a bit. This only made her even cuter!!! I decided to try to calm myself down so I don't scare her away. Since she is Rumias daughter she may be afraid to live freely. I decided to try to ease her into it, and become her friend. That way I can have her cuteness around me all the time!!!

I decided to take a deep breath and in a calm voice ask her to be my friend. "Silvia will you please be my friend." I tried to be calm, but my smile slipped out, but it didn't matter because Silvia replied. "O.K. I… I'll be your friend." She seemed a lot calmer now. This face was also adorable. I managed to get her to talk about herself and her hobbies a little bit when the teacher arrived.

I reluctantly paid a little attention to the teacher, because getting low grades would be a pain. My moms told me this academy does have detention, and I would hate to go there. Once the class ended I said goodbye to Sylvia who had to go to the restroom. I offered to go with her, but she declined… Well no point pouting about this. So, I decided to go to my next class which was called Sewing. This one was my elective I was sooo exited to finally be able to sew my own clothes, and even put magic on them!!!

I sat down at a desk and started to dayream about sewing. I didn't get to do this very long since, because yet another girl decided to introduce herself to me. I thought to myself I know why Silvia would talk to me, but why this girl… Was she enoamoured by my beauty? I didn't know why but she still introduced herself to me.

Well the girl with pink pigtails and pink eyes said her introduction. "Excuse me. My name is Katherine Mistbody. I am the heiress of the Mistbody family. Pleased to make your aqaintence princess." Ah yet another person who recognized me as the princess. I guess I really do stand out. Well I would like that if everyone just didn't keep calling me princess. I decided to answer back "Nice to meet you too Katherine. I don't know why you called out to me, but I don't like being called princess."

Katherine looked pretty shocked at this revelation. She looked sad as she put her hands on my shoulders and said. "I heard from father that those rebelious queens didn't raise you lke a royal… Don't worry I will lead you on the right path" I don't know why everyone cares about what I do with my life, but I don't like it!!! There was one thing I could never forgive though…. SHE INSULTED MY MOMS!!! I pushed her hands away and use my silver tongue magic and say. "Do not insult my mothers like that. They are the best witches and moms in the world."

My magic affected her as she said "O-O-O.K. princess." Why did she still call me princess I don't know, but at least she said she won't insult my moms anymore. Well she was a pretty darn cute girl so I decided to at least try to make friends with her. I told her "Will you be my friend?" She quickly replied with "I would be honored princess" With that she curtsied and walked away.

Before class started SIlvia came into this class too!!! I get be with that adorable creature in my favorite class!!! I was so happy when I saw her. She sat next to me again. When class started I took extra care to pay attention. When class was over I promissed to have lunch with Slivia and Katherine. It turned out that I had my next class with Silvia too!!!. I don't know wether this was coincidence or not but I love it!!!
