It had been three days since Ana had been to school. She had spent the days crying with her mother and while it still hurt horribly and she was still grieving, she knew she had to go back. She had gotten told of what happened while she was gone by Stiles on the way to school. They met up with Scott, listening as he shared his dream.

"So you killed her?" Stiles asked as he opened the doors to the high school.

"I don't know." Scott answered. "I just woke up and I was sweating like crazy, and I couldn't breathe. I've never had a dream where I woke up like that before."

"Really? I have. Usually ends a little differently." Stiles joked causing Ana to mumble 'ew' in response.

"A, I meant I've never had a dream that felt that real, and B, never give me that much detail about you in bed again." Scott remarked causing Ana to nod in agreement.

"Noted. Let me take a guess here-" Stiles started before Scott cut him off.

"No, I know, you think it has something to do with me going out with Allison tomorrow. Like I'm going to lose control and ripe her throat out." Scott spoke for him.

"No, of course not." Stiles paused. "Yeah, that's totally it. Hey, come on, it's gonna be fine, all right? Personally, I think you're handling this pretty freaking amazingly. You know, it's not like there's a Lycanthropy for Beginners class you can take."

"Yeah, not a class, but maybe a teacher." Scott replied. Stiles' face dropped.

"Who, Derek?" Scott nodded causing Stiles to smack him over the head. "You forgetting the part where we got him tossed in jail?"

"Yeah, I know, but chasing her, dragging her to the back of the bus, it felt so real." Scott sighed. Ana could smell the delicious metallic scent starting to get stronger than it usually was.

"How real?" Stiles asked.

"Like it actually happened." Scott said before opening the doors to the back of the school, seeing a school bus covered in blood. Shock was written all over Scott and Stiles' faces but Ana couldn't focus on anything but how bad she wanted to go over and taste the loads of blood coating the place.

"I think it did." The anxiety could be heard in Stiles's nerves. They looked over to Ana after heard her stomach growl. They noticed her fangs poking out from her upper lip. The gasped before pulling her quickly past the bus.

"Hurry up and drink what you have." Scott said as they pulled her quickly away from the mass amounts of human blood.

"She's probably fine." Stiles tried to calm down the teenage boy.

"She's not answering my texts, Stiles." Scott's words were rushed as he tried to find Allison in the crowded hallway.

"It could just be a coincidence, all right?" Stiles again tried to reason with the teen wolf.

"A seriously amazing coincidence." Ana replied. An attitude evident in her words. Stiles gave the vampire a look, that told her to knock it off. She rolled her eyes. She knew it wasn't nice and not at all helpful but she was too hangry to really care.

"Just help me find her, okay?" Scott pleaded. The group looked through the halls, trying to find any sign of Allison.

"Do you see her?" Stiles asked.

"No." Scott frantically looked through the halls. His anxiety rising by the second. His heart rate rising as he continued walking. He tried to look more but couldn't control himself. He stopped at a random locker, trying to breathe. The emotions for the best of him and he punched the locker with his werewolf strength. The locker was badly damaged, barely hanging on its hinges. He calmed himself down enough to stop himself from turning right in the middle of the school. He stumbled backwards completely lost before bumping right into someone. Scott turned around, completely relieved that she was safe.

"You scared the hell outta me." She laughed at her boyfriend.

"You're okay." Scott said, continuing to breathe sighs of relief before bending down to help her pick up her books.

"Once my heart starts beating again, yeah." She joked. All Scott could do was be glad he hadn't mailed his girlfriend. Ana watched, rolling her eyes.

"What?" Allison asked, confused as to why he was so relieved that she was okay.

"I'm just happy to see you." He played off his whole reaction. Ana and stiles stood there watching the slightly awkward encounter.

"Attention, students, this is your principal. I know you're all wondering about the incident that occurred last night to one of our buses. While the police work to determine what happened, classes will proceed as scheduled. Thank you." Their principals voice was heard over the intercom. Many students groaned in response, although Ana let out a slight laugh. This school would rather have kids not miss class than have them leave and not be around a active crime scene.

"Save me a seat at lunch?" Alison ruffled Scott's brown hair.

"Yeah." He said before she went off to her class. Scott walked back to where Stiles and Ana were watching as Jackson tried to fix his locker that Scott had so badly damaged.

"What are you looking at, asswipe?" Jackson asked Scott. Scott looked away giving the suspicious look of 'it wasn't me'. The group then walked to their chemistry class. They all sat down, Scott next to Ana and Stiles at the table behind Scott. The class started writing notes down that Mr.Harris put on the board.

"Maybe it was my blood on the door." Scott said hopeful.

"Could have been animal blood. You know, maybe you caught a rabbit or something." Stiles tried to reason.

"And did what?" Scott asked.

"Ate it." Stiles said with an expression showing how done he was.

"Raw?" Scott asked disgusted.

"No, you stopped to bake it in a little werewolf oven. I don't know, you're the one who can't remember anything." Stiles remarked.

"No, there was some of your blood Scott, but there was also human in the bus. I think it was B- ." Ana whispered, not looking up from her notes.

"Mr.Stilinski, if that's your idea of a hushed whisper, you might want to pull the headphones out every once in a while. I think you and Mr.McCall would benefit from a little distance, yes?" Mr.Harris ordered.

"No." Stiles answered the teacher. The man ignored Stiles and pointed to two separate seats. The boys got up and moved.

"Let me know if the separation anxiety gets to be too much." Mr.Harris said causing Stiles to scoff. The class was quiet for a moment until the girl who now sat next to Scott yelled out.

"Hey, I think they found something." She said, causing all of the students to run to the windows, Ana standing next to Stiles and Scott, she could already smell the human blood.

"That's not a rabbit." Scott said upon seeing a body being carried a crossed on a stretcher. The man on the stretcher leaped up yelling in fear causing everyone to jump back.

"O-Okay." Stiles said a little startled. Scott backed away from the window, afraid of what he thought he had done. "This is good, this is good. He got up, he's not dead. Dead guys can't do that."

"Guys... I did that." Scott said, fear coating his words.

Soon it was lunch. Ana walked with Scott and Stiles as they went through the lunch line.

"But dreams aren't memories." Stiles said, trying to be the voice of reason.

"Then it wasn't a dream. Something happened last night, and I can't remember what." Scott replied. The group sat down at their usual table, their bags either under the table or on the back of their chairs.

"What makes you so sure Derek even has all the answers?" Stiles asked, annoyed that Scott would go to that man for help.

"Because during the full moon he wasn't changed. He was in total control, while I was running around in the middle of the night attacking some totally innocent guy." Scott said before Ana added on.

"And possibly the fact that he was born a werewolf." She said quietly, making sure no one heard.

"You don't know that." Stiles said, going off of the last thing Scott said.

"I don't not know it. I can't go out with Allison. I have to cancel." Scott was stressed, he could bare the thought of actually hurting her.

"No, you're not cancelling, okay? You can't just cancel your entire life. We'll figure it out." Stiles reassured the werewolf.

"Figure what out?" Lydia asked, surprising the trio by sitting next to them.

"Just, uh, homework." Scott tried to cover up.

"Yeah." Stiles agreed before targeting his words toward Scott and Anastasia . "Why is she sitting with us?" They all looked around in shock. Ana smiled as Mae sat next to her. Scott moves his bag, allowing Allison to sit down.

"Thanks." She smiled at him. Stiles tried to hit on both the girl and Danny who were sat next to him. Ana looked at Mae, before sighing.

"Why haven't you been at school recently?" Mae asked the girl. Ana paused for a moment.

"I- um... my dad... he uh he died. So I have been with my mom trying to deal with all of that but I'm back now and surviving." Ana told her girlfriend. Mae grasped Ana's hand, squeezing it slightly.

"I am so sorry, I'm here for you. Always." Ana smiled at Mae's concern before the two joined the rest of the group and their conversation.

"So I hear they're saying it's some kind of animal attack. Probably a cougar." Danny told the group.

"I heard mountain lion." Jackson interjected.

"A cougar is a mountain lion. Isn't it?" Lydia asked trying to cover up just how smart she was.

"Who cares? The guys probably some homeless tweaked who's gonna die anyway." Jackson replied. Ana knew that wasn't true, his blood smelled clean.

"Actually, I just found out who it is. Check it out." Stiles said showing his phone to the group.

"The Sheriff's Department won't speculate on details of the incident but confirmed the victim, Garrison Meyers, did survive the attack. Meyers was taken to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition." The news reporter said. Looking at the bloody scene made Ana hungry again. She quickly finished half of her last bottle of blood, knowing she had to save it as much as she could.

"I know this guy." Scott said causing Stiles and Ana to become slightly more worried.

"You do?" Allison asked.

"Yeah, when I used to take the bus back when I was living with my dad. He was the driver." Scott said, the trio shared a look before Lydia interrupted their shared thought process.

"Can we talk about something slightly more fun, please? Like, oh, where are we going tomorrow night? You said you and Scott were hanging out tomorrow night, right?" Lydia asked Allison.

"Um, we were thinking of what we were gonna do." Allison replied. Stiles and Ana quickly looking to Scott hoping he could shut this whole thing down.

"Well, I am not sitting home again watching lacrosse videos, so if the four of us are hanging out, we are doing something fun." Lydia spoke fast. She then paused looking to Mae and Ana. "Mae and Anastasia, you think of something too, you both are coming." The eyes at the table looked at the two girls who suddenly became extremely nervous.

"Hanging out?" Scott asked Allison as she was taking a drink from her water bottle. "Like, the... six of us?" Scott recounted in his head. Stiles placed his hand over his mouth, he knew this would be terrible. "Do you wanna hang out, like us and them?"

"Yeah, I guess. Sounds fun." Allison tried, she too had been caught off guard.

"You know what else sounds fun? Stabbing myself in the face with this fork." Jackson said, still being an asshole. Lydia took the fork as stiles rolled his eyes.

"How about bowling? You love to bowl." Lydia tried. Stiles looked at the two of his friends, shaking his head no.

"Yeah with actual competition." Jackson answered sarcastically.

"How do you know we're not actual competition?" Allison asked. "You can bowl, right?"

"Sort of." Scott told his girlfriend.

"Is it sort of, or yes?" Jackson leaned forward.

"Yes." Scott said, annoyed with Jackson being all high and mighty. "In fact, I'm a great bowler." Stiles then gaveAna a look saying she now had to go and watch over the two of them. Mae grabbed Ana's hand, pulling her attention away from the mess that was happening.

"We don't have to go if you don't want to." Mae smiled sympathetically.

"No, it's okay. Let's go but make sure Lydia knows we're still on the down low and are trying to keep things quiet." Ana responded, she was nervous with how carefree Lydia seemed to mention their relationship in front of the popular group. Mae nodded. Soon lunch ended and the group separated ways. Ana followed Scott and Stiles.

"You're a terrible bowler." Stiles said once he was out of earshot from the group.

"I know! I'm such an idiot." Scott groaned.

"God, it was like watching a car wreck. I mean, first it turned into the whole group date thing and then out of no where comes that phrase-" stiles started.

"Hang out." Scott finished Stiles' sentence.

"You don't hang out with hot girls, okay? It's like death. Once it's hanging out, you might as well be her gay best friend. You and Danny can start hanging out." Stiles ranted. Ana paused.

"Well what the fuck am I then, apparently y'all don't hang out with hot girls?" Ana looked at the two teenage boys.

"N-no Ana, of course you're good looking but you're like our sister. We are talking about hot girls we actively try to pursue." Scott tried to cover up Stiles' error before continuing his previous conundrum. " How is this happening? I either killed a guy or I didn't-"

"I don't think Danny likes me very much." Stiles thought aloud.

"I ask Allison on a date, and now we're hanging out." Scott continued ranting. Ana watching the two, almost ready to laugh.

"Am I not attractive to gay guys?" Stiles asked, seemingly concerned.

"I make first line, and the team captain wants to destroy me, and now... Now I'm gonna be late for work." Scott finished ranting.

"Wait, Scott, you didn't... Am I attractive to gay guys... you didn't answer my question." Stiles then looked to Ana raising his eyebrows.

"How the hell am I supposed to know, I'm a lesbian. Complete opposite end of the spectrum." She laughed before following him to his Jeep.

Later that day, as Anastasia worked on her make up work, Scott knocked on her window.

"What do you need Scott?" Ana asked, her fangs visible. It was always much more comfortable to have her fangs out than to keep them hidden.

"I need to go to Derek and there's a possibility that I might need back up." He looked at her hopefully.

"Fine, but just know. Derek was born a werewolf. Normally werewolves hate vampires and I think he isn't to happy to see me hanging around you." She said before climbing out of her window.

"Wait so the whole vampires vs. werewolves thing is real?" Scott asked. Ana nodded.

"But it's a little different, both sides hate how the other smells. Vampires have this smell, almost like death. I try to keep it covered up so mainly The scent of my ginseng cigarettes cover it up but then I also always have perfume on. Werewolves almost... okay so vampires don't smell a person, we smell their blood. That's why I could figure out the bus drivers blood type. Werewolf blood smells like wet dog. I instantly knew you were turning because your blood automatically smelled like wet dog and I had to be trained when I was younger to deal with that smell. Then most werewolves think it's gross to drink the blood of our victims and vampires think werewolves are gross cause they just kill. They have no need from their kills other than to just kill them. It's a can stand debate and I'm sure because Derek was born into this family of werewolves, he won't think much different." Ana explained as she ran next to Scott's bike. They went to Derek's house, trying to be as careful as possible.

"I know you can hear me. I need your help." Scott said. The two of them walked up and onto the porch of the burnt house awaiting Derek to open the door. Slowly the door opened with Derek stepping outside.

"What is she doing here?" Derek asked glaring at the vampire.

"She's just here to help me. I was nervous okay. She's been the one saying I should come to you for help." Derek looked surprised by Scott's words. "Okay, I know I was a part of you getting arrested and that we basically announced you being here to the hunters. I also don't know what happened to your sister. But I think I did something last night. I had a dream about someone. But someone else got hurt. And it turns out that part of the dream might have actually happened."

"You think you attacked the driver?" Derek asked, unfazed.

"Did you see what I did last night?" Scott asked.

"No." Derek answered.

"Can you at least tell me the truth? Am I gonna hurt someone?"

"Yes." Derek answered Scott shortly.

"Could I kill someone?" Scott almost felt disgusted by himself.

"Yes." Derek answered again.

"Am I gonna kill someone?" Scott asked, now it was a mixture of fear and disgust Scott was feeling.

"Probably." Was all Derek said. Scott looked like he was about to throw up, his nerves getting the better of him. "Look, I can show you how to remember. I can show you how to control the shift, even on a full moon. But it's not gonna come for free." Ana looked at the older werewolf in confusion.

"What do you want?" Scott asked him.

"You'll find out." Derek said. Ominous as always aren't you Derek, Ana thought. "But for now I'm gonna give you what you want. Go back to the bus. Go inside. See it, feel it. Let your senses, your sight, smell, touch. Let them remember for you."

"That's it? Just go back?" Scott had confusion written all over his face at Derek's words.

"Do you want to know what happened?" Derek asked the teen.

"I just want to know if I hurt him." Scott answered.

"No, you don't. You want to know if you'll hurt her." Derek told him. Ana watched the two interact. Derek definitely wasn't the one who turned him, it wasn't the right scent, although she didn't know if she should tell Scott that. She knew Derek would tell him in due time. The two then went immediately to Stiles. They told him the plan before they all got in his Jeep and drove to where the bus was parked. Once they got to the fence, Stiles parked the Jeep. They all got out, stiles started to head towards the Jeep but Scott stopped him.

"Hey, no, just Ana and I. We need you to keep watch and be ready to drive away." Scott ordered. Ana looked nervous.

"How come I'm always the guy keeping watch?" Stiles asked, clearly frustrated. "Why is it starting to feel like you two are Batman and Wonder Woman and I'm robin? I don't want to be Robin all the time."

"Nobody's Batman, Wonder Woman, or Robin any of the time." Scott replied.

"Not even some of the time?" Stiles complained.

"Just stay here." Scott gritted his teeth.

"Oh, my god! Fine." Stiles groaned before walking back towards the Jeep. The two supernatural teens climbed over the fence.

"You know, you guys are really becoming an old married couple." Ana remarked. Scott rolled his eyes at her. The walked towards the bus, Scott stopping. He started to remember. Ana watched him, trying not to concentrate on how good the blood smelled. Scott opened the door to the bus, causing the smell to grow stronger. Ana's fangs grew out but she tried to ignore the feeling of hunger. They climbed onto the bus and when they started to walk to the back and then, Anastasia lost all control over herself. She turned fully, her eyes becoming pure black.

"I-I can't." She said, her voice dark with hunger as she ran off the bus. Scott was so caught up in remembering that all he could think was she walked back to the Jeep. He then heard stiles honking his horn causing him to run and flip over the fence before jumping into the Jeep again.

"Go, go!" Scott yelled. Stiles pulled away, driving off before pausing.

"Um, Scott... Where's Ana?"
