Ana awoke that morning and told the boys she had to quickly head home and talk to her mom upon seeing the 11 missed calls. She quickly grabbed her stuff and ran home. She opened the door and set the stuff down right next to it. Her mom ran down the stairs, furious.

"Anastasia! Where the hell have you been?" Her mom yelled. Ana crossed her arms.

"I was with Scott and Stiles. I figured we both needed to cool off before coming home and talking rationally about the situation." Ana said. Her mother looked at her oddly.

"Are you still helping them? Even after you almost died? Are you actually serious right now?" She yelled.

"Yes mom, I'm god damn serious. Do you actually think even if I stayed out of it that I would be safe? No! This is my world and Dad and I were prepared to protect everyone if we had to. That was my entire future and now you don't want me to even try." Ana yelled back. Her mom looked shocked for a moment.

"I just want to protect you. You're still a child." She replied. Ana looked at her softly.

"Mom, I've never gotten to just be a child. From the moment I was born I had all these responsibilities and never have been truly safe. I know you and dad would try as hard as you could but you can never fully escape hunters. Mom, I'm not going to stop helping my friends so I'm sorry that you aren't happy about it but I will not ever stop fighting to protect my friends. Now I'm gonna get dressed, get more blood, and then I'm going to continue to help them and protect my home and you." Ana told her before walking up to her room. She quickly got changed and grabbed the last blood bag and walked back down the stairs. She then got a new water bottle and mixed in the human and animal blood before grabbing her stuff and walking towards the door again.

"Mama, I love you and I don't want you to be angry at me or vice versa." Ana said walking up to the woman. She sighed before pulling her daughter into her arms.

"I'm not angry... I'm just scared. I understand why you are doing it, I just wish it didn't have to be you." She mumbled into the girls' hair. "I love you Ana. I understand if you need a little break or if your staying at Scott or Stiles's house. After all, you three have an alpha to bring down." She said before Ana waved good bye and left the house only to see Stiles's Jeep arriving.

"Hurry, I think Jackson's in trouble." Scott yelled before Ana quickly ran in and sat in the back. The ride was silent and when they pulled up they saw Argent leaning over Jackson. Stiles quickly slammed on the breaks as the Jeep reached the two men.

"Yo." Scott said before Stiles muttered a what's up. "Is everything okay?" Jackson looked visibly shaken up but kept glancing between the three.

"Hey Scott." Argent said not recognizing Ana or Stiles. "Your friend here was having car trouble. We're just taking a look." Stiles muttered an oh and Ana nodded slightly before Scott spoke.

"There's a shop right down the street. I'm sure they have a tow truck." Scott said. Stiles muttered a yeah before Ana continued.

"You wanna ride?" She asked. Scott then opened the door.

"Hey, come on, Jackson. You're way too pretty to be out here all by yourself." Stiles remarked. Jackson hesitated but upon seeing Scott and Ana's expressions, he started to walk to the Jeep. Scott got out and Jackson was about to enter when Argent called out.

"Hey boys, and girl," he said before starting the car. "Told you I knew a few things about cars." He said before walking away and eventually driving off. They all waited until Argent was away to start talking.

"What are you following me now?" Jackson aggressively asked. Ana rolled her eyes getting out.

"Yes, you stupid fucking idiot." Ana remarked.

"You almost gave away everything right there!" Scott yelled.

"What are you talking about?" Jackson scoffed.

"He thinks you're the second beta. He thinks you're me!" Scott yelled before slamming his fist against Stiles Jeep.

"Dude, my Jeep." Stiles groaned in response.

"I can hear your heart beating from a mile away, literally! Now he thinks that something's wrong, and now I have to keep an eye on you so he doesn't kill you, too!" Scott yelled before attempting to hit the Jeep again but Ana quickly caught his fist without flinching, catching the interest of Jackson.

"Thank you." Stiles muttered. Ana gave him a slight nod.

"You know what? This is your problem not mine! I didn't say anything, which means you both are the one who's going to get me killed, okay?" Jackson yelled in both Ana's face and Scott's. "This is your fault!" He said before shoving the both of them into the Jeep.

"Can we stop hitting my Jeep?" Stiles said. Ana's anger was quickly rising meaning so was her hunger. She quickly whispered and told Scott he was on his own before looking to Stiles, trying to break away but Jackson kept a firm gaze on her. She was ready to turn back and hit him when her stomach grumbled. Scott quickly blocked her as Stiles tried to pull her back.

"Hey, where is she going?" Jackson yelled still angry.

"Away, to keep you safe." Ana growled, her voice was much darker and she had a slight lisp due to her fangs. Jackson then continued his assault on Scott while Stiles pulled Ana away.

"Okay, what's going on? Talk to me." Stiles held her shoulders looking into her eyes.

"I'm sorry it's just everything going on and then Jackson just being Jackson sets me on edge and then when he says this stupid shit it just pisses me off and anger makes me hungry. I'm trying to get control again. Thank you." She sighed.

"Here, let me go get you some. I keep some extra bags in a cooler in case of an emergency like this." He smiled before running to his Jeep and grabbing a blood bag out of the bag, catching the attention of Jackson who looked lost before rolling his eyes and walking away from Scott and getting in his Porsche. Stiles ran back and tossed the bag to Ana. She looked at it for a second before biting into it causing Stiles to raise his eyebrows as she darn from the two holes.

"I needed to bite something. I would rather it be the bag and not you." She said as she finished. She wiped the blood off her mouth before walking back to Scott. "Sorry, he just gets me so angry. I'm working on it, I promise." Scott nodded before placing his hand on her arm.

"I get it. I'm not worried, I mean with everything, you've been handling it all well." Scott smiled.

"Well I've taken care of most of my problems. My mom and I made up so we don't have a problem there. I think Mae and I are doing well. My only problem is this alpha and Jackson but we're all doing this together and Peter Hale doesn't stand a chance." She laughed before punching their shoulders lightly. Ana's phone then buzzed causing everyone to look at it. She took it out and read the message from Mae,

Hey, my family is going out and doing something, they haven't told me anything about it but they are leaving in like 10 minutes and won't be back till tomorrow. Do you want to come over?

Ana smiled widely. She quickly responded with an of course before looking up at her two best friends.

"Well, it seems I have a date fellas." She laughed before quickly getting in the Jeep. The two rolled their eyes before getting in too. They took their time and arrived at Mae's house 20 minutes after making sure her family was out of the house. Ana grabbed her stuff before waving to the two. She quickly approached the door before knocking. She could hear Mae running to the door and unlocking it before opening it. Ana gave her girlfriend a soft smile before Mae waved her in.

"Come in, I'm just starting to work on a big dinner because I'm very hungry." Mae laughed. She quickly shut the door behind Ana and pointed to a spot in the living room where she could set down her stuff. The two then walked into the kitchen where supplies and ingredients were later out. Ana laughed slightly.

"I don't know how much help I'll be, I've only cooked a little with my mom and I can't really taste anything so, be careful." Ana sighed leaning against the island.

"Well, I'm gonna teach you. This is something I find fun and it would be nice to do it together and maybe sometimes have you cook on your own. See how well you can do." Mae couldn't stop smiling around Ana. She also was quite nervous, she never had anyone in her house before. Her family was incredibly secretive and when it came to their abilities... she was still learning how to control it all, especially when she was being taught the advanced stuff her grandmother knew.

"Well," Ana muttered approaching Mae. She grabbed Mae's hand and gave it a slight squeeze. "I'm glad you can teach me." Mae looked lost in Ana's eyes before snapping back to reality.

"Also, I know how tiring it is with the eyes and all. I'm fine with you showing them here. I want you to feel comfortable enough with me to just show them in times like this." Mae smiled, brushing her thumb on Ana's cheek.

"Are you sure? I don't want to make you uncomfortable or anything. Seriously I'm fine with-" Ana started to rant before Mae cut her off with a kiss. Ana couldn't even think, all she knew was how soft Mae's lips were and how she tasted sweet. She couldn't place it but she guessed it was her sugar cookie chapstick. It wasn't a long kiss but it was just enough to leave them both shocked as they pulled away.

"I- I... um... wow." Ana laughed slightly.

"So... I just knew you were rambling and I figured it was a good way to stop you and show you how comfortable I was with you." Mae quickly explained. All she could think about was how Ana tasted like peach tea with a metallic hint. She knew it was from the blood but she didn't mind it much. Ana didn't realize but in her calmed state, her eyes and fangs were shown. Mae gave a quick peck to Ana's cheek before walking past and getting the chicken breast.

"I even like this Ana too." She whispered causing Ana to realize what she meant. She hesitated before ultimately deciding to keep them as they were revealed. The two then started on making Mae's dinner, messing about and occasionally asking questions and getting to know each other better.

"Hey Ana, are you okay with nicknames?" Mae asked as she stuffed the chicken breast with cream cheese and spinach. Ana looked up before blushing.

"I, uh, yeah. Are you?" Ana was nervous. It seemed even more real now and she couldn't help the butterflies causing havoc in her stomach.

"I would love it if you used a nickname. We don't have to start right now but it would just be something to think about." She smiled softly noticing how nervous her girlfriend was. Mae always had this confidence and it didn't matter that she was just as shy about this and nervous as Ana, she always knew how to pretend. It was something she had to do ever since she was little. When you are the youngest in a long line of highly respected and sort of feared witches, you always have to know what you're doing and even if you don't... you need to at least learn how to pretend you do. "Okay Princess, it's time to put these into the oven." Ana looked at Mae confused at how she already had the nickname.

"Princess?" Ana asked.

"Well, yeah. I mean, your name is Anastasia, who also happened to be the princess, well duchess, of Russia. It seems kind of fitting, does it not?" Mae smiled. Ana laughed before nodding.

"That makes sense. It's nice, I like it." Ana smiled. The two then decided to watch a movie while the chicken cooked. Jokingly Mae put on Anastasia, making Ana laugh. The two sat and cuddled, not wanting the night to end until Ana's phone rang. She quickly answered it, upon noticing it was Scott.

"Ana! You need to hurry to the Hale house! Derek is going to kill Jackson and we have to save him." Ana quickly bolted up, startling Mae.

"Okay, I'm running there." She said before hanging up. Ana then looked to the girl who was staring at her on the couch.

"I have to go save Jackson. I should be back for my stuff tomorrow okay? Stay safe." She said before kissing Mae good bye and running out of the door. She quickly sped to the house and caught up to Scott who was about to enter. They nodded before jumping up to the second floor through a window.

"And nobody cares that you're captain of the lacrosse team!" Derek yelled as Jackson cowered on the steps.

"Excuse me." Ana said, her voice darker due to the anger coursing through her.

"Co-captain." Scott finished. The two then jumped down the stairs, blocking Jackson from Derek.

"Move!" Derek yelled.

"No!" Both Ana and Scott responded.

"Fine, I'll kill you both, too." Derek growled. They were about to fight when a whistling sound was heard.

"Cover your eyes!" Ana yelled. Stopes came flying into the room, causing bright light to scatter around and flash constantly. The group ducked and tried to hide from the source. Then bullets started to fly through the house, one shooting Scott, who quickly clutched the wound. Black liquid started procuring from his wound and out of his mouth.

"Scott! Go!" Derek yelled. Ana quickly ran over and threw Scott back.

"Run!" She yelled crying. Both her and Derek knew they had to stay behind to save him and Jackson. The werewolf and the vampire stood at the door, looking at each other before Derek opened the door, causing a red dot to aim at Ana and shoot before she realized it was open. She dropped to the floor and gasped, feeling it burn throughout her body.

"Vervain." She muttered. Dereks eyes widened at the girl before he stood in front of the door, growling and consequently getting shot. The two laid on the floor, falling in conscious. All Ana could think before she blacked out was, they know.

Ana awoke to feel the slight burn of the chains around her hands. She quickly took in her surroundings, finding that she was chained to a chair, liquid poured on all of the metal objects. She groaned as it burned slightly. She then looked up to see Kate had entered the room.

"Aw did I wake you up?" Kate mocked before continuing, "Good. Now, I'm quite surprised you exist to be honest. I didn't even know Vampires could have kids. Now I just have a question that I need answered and I believe you can answer it for me. Then I'll let you go. I have no grudge against you and while you're a monster, you are my gesture of goodwill. Now, can you tell me who the second Beta is?" Ana quickly looked confused.

"What do you mean?" She asked. Kate rolled her eyes before grabbing a dagger.

"Did you know that our family can be quite resourceful when it comes to our weapons? I know you know about our special mix for werewolves but did you know we had one for vampires too?" Kate laughed before shoving the dagger into Ana's stomach.

"Fuck!" Ana yelled as black liquid poured from her wound and started to rise in her mouth. Kate then stepped back, leaving the dagger in her stomach.

"It's fine if you don't want to tell me, I'll just give you some time to think about it." She remarked before leaving. Ana quickly tried to figure out her surroundings and noticed all the walls had been sound proofed. She tried to analyze anything else but couldn't keep her eyes open. The pain from the vervain was far too much for her body to handle.

It had been hours since Kate had shoved the dagger into Ana and she was starting to get bad, when Kate appeared again. She quickly approached the girl and pulled the dagger out, admiring her black blood that coated it. Ana quickly gasped as she felt it exit her wound. She knew she wouldn't heal. At least not until she got more blood and got the antidote from Deaton. Kate leaned down and smirked noticing the amount of pain she was in.

"Who is the second Beta?" Kate asked. Ana shook her head.

"I don't know." She answered. Kate didn't make any expression until she swiped the blade and slashed Ana's arm causing her to scream out. "I'm serious. I don't know" Another slash marked her other arm now.

"Do you wanna know what your dad told me after I shot him?" Kate smirked. Ana quickly narrowed her eyes at the woman, desperately wanting to fight her. "He realized I figured out there was another vampire and he looked so scared but even then he tried to act tough. Just like you're doing right now. He told me how you were strong and that I couldn't beat you. How you were much stronger than anyone would ever know. Look at you now, kind of ironic right?" She laughed before stabbing Ana in the leg. Ana let out another scream. "Tell me who the second beta is!"

"I don't fucking know! I swear to god Kate, I don't know who the second beta was! I was just pissed at Derek and he seemed to wanna fight. Okay? You shot me before I could leave his ass out there! Do you really think I care about some werewolf?" Anastasia lied through her teeth but she was quite the good liar. Kate nodded. She quickly stabbed Ana's other leg before sighing.

"Fine. Now I'm going to let you go but not so fast. As I said, your release is my gesture of goodwill, but not until I've had my fun. I also am gonna need some help with a demonstration." She laughed again. The pain was far too much. Ana's vision became blurry. She couldn't see Kate taking out another dager and shoving it into a different spot in her stomach. She screamed as her black blood poured from her mouth. This happened again for nearly another half hour. Ana's eyes quickly shut as she passed out. Kate then left and brought Allison down to meet Derek. Ana remained unconscious until Kate opened the door.

"Now here, here is something really terrifying." Kate said loudly, waking Ana up again. She kept her head down, not wanting to show how weak she had gotten. Her fangs and eyes were showing when Kate grabbed Ana by her hair and yanked her head up. Ana could barely see the person in front of her and it took a second before she realized who it was.

"Allison?" She whispered before trying to put them away but only her eyes went back.

"Kate, that's Ana! She looks like she's dying." Allison yelled before realizing what she was actually witnessing.

"Look at her, Allison, She's not a human. Her kind is arguably worse than the Alpha. Look at these fangs, take a wild guess Allison!" Kate yelled. When Allison stayed silent Kate walked over and grabbed one of the regular daggers. She cut a small part on her arm automatically causing Ana's eyes to darken and Allison to gasp.

"Please cover it. Please. I don't want to." Ana cried. Allison quickly grabbed the cloth that was on the table and wrapped it tightly onto Kate's wound. Kate laughed.

"You really aren't getting it… she drinks blood allison, she's a vampire! She's already dead! She's been lying this entire time." Kate yelled. Allison stopped her frantic actions before processing everything.

"Allison, don't listen to her. I never wanted to hurt anyone and the only time I've had human blood is after she killed my dad! I didn't even hurt people, I stole blood bags. That was it. I lied so this wouldn't happen, so I wouldn't die like him!" Ana yelled. Kate rolled her eyes before moving quickly up to her and stabbing her in her right side of her chest.

"FUCK!" She screamed again, tears falling even faster down her face before becoming unconscious again.

Ana opened her eyes, realizing she wasn't in that room anymore, chained down. She scanned her surroundings before realizing she was left in the woods. She ran as fast as she could to Scott's house. She knew his mom had already left seeing as she did at about 7 in the morning. She looked around to make sure no one could see the state she was in before running up to his door. Ana tried to use all the strength she could to bang on the door but it came out as a quiet repetitive knock. She was leaning against the wall next to it trying to get Scott or Stiles's attention. She could see Stiles's Jeep and continued to knock until the door opened. A gasp was all she heard before she fell into the person's arms.

"Oh my god, Ana. What happened?" Scott cried, analyzing her wounds.

"Deaton, call Deaton." She whispered, her voice weak and raspy. She quickly fell unconscious again due to the fact that none of her injuries had healed. Stiles ran down and nearly fell at the sight.

"Stiles! Call Deaton now!" Was the last thing Ana could hear.
