CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Two days passed in a blink of an eye, nothing happened, just ordinary life, and also in these two days, I was alone in the apartment because Vic has to go on a trip with his so-called boyfriend. I don't like her boyfriend maybe because he isn't serious with her.

The next day, with morning light I knew that my new life was knocking on my door with so much that force it might break it down. It was scaring me to the core of my heart and was also making it hard to keep my head held up and leveled with society.

Things that shouldn't happen were playing in my brain as my previous decision started to coming into my blank brain. No, no, no, there is no turning back now because I'm doing this for my one and only family member.

With my last breath of negativity out, I made my way to my shower getting ready for this day was the most difficult task. I'm going to meet his family today especially his father to make all misunderstandings clear and then I'll go for my dress selection and makeover so I can look like a lady from a good background.

I was still observing myself and my miserable life when my phone received a mail.

"I'm here, open the door," received the message from the guy who I hated the most.

I left him standing out there for a few more minutes. I wasn't in the mood to hear his arrogantly rude commands.

I made my way towards my bathroom, doing a little makeup. I was applying my liner when I felt someone's stare at me but when a hand came out of nowhere and touched my shoulder, I panicked and grabbed whatever was near to me to hit it on whoever was standing behind me.

But when I turned around air left my lungs within a second, an extremely very angry looking William was there and he slammed my back on my mirror with so much force.

His breath was harsh and rapid, he was literally so close to me that even the air wasn't passing between us, his eyes were cold and every muscle in his body tightened.

"Why the hell you weren't answering the door?" he whispered close to my ear, his lips were touching my ear lobe making me shiver. My heart was beating so fast that I felt it would jump out of my body at any time.

"Answer me," he shouted, making me jump, and slammed the punch on the wall behind me with a force but thank God less force than last time.

"I.... ah...I'm...I didn't know you were there." He exhaled his minty breath hitting my face as I answered him.

"Don't lie to me bit*h, your face is like a coloring book and not hard for me to read so next time prepare well before you show your shitty attitude on me."

With that, he stepped back, making me fall on my bathroom floor. I thought he was gone but I was wrong. He pulled a hand full of my hair in his hand but not in a hard way he pulled it softly and for that moment it felt like he can't bear to raise a hand on women, well good thing.

Leaning down and coming face to face with me his cold eyes piercing through mine when he dropped a Bobby pin in my lap making me gasp.

"You bast**d, you picked my lock?" I shouted.

"I did. What I should do next time is, I'll break your door and drag you out with your hair, understand?" he makes my head nod by pulling my hair up and down but not with much force that it could make my scalp hurt.

"Good girl now as you obeyed me, I have to reward you, right. You want to know how?" I was still at my place. Reward!! What is that reward? But before any thought can pass my brain his lips come crashing on mine, taking my breath away.

His lips were cold as ice in my warm one but so soft, so slow that I was amazed and shocked at the same time but before I can register what was happening, he was gone leaving my hair, making them fall on my face.

I heard him walk away "Get up, we don't have a year for this, also we don't have enough time for your childish preparation." his voice didn't show that we had just kissed while mine was still stuck in my throat.

With wobbly legs, I made my way to my front door to his car, where his driver opened the door for me. I stepped in, finding William on the other side half-hidden from me, so I turned my eyes and watched the trees went by during our silent drive.

The car turned into a mansion and parked around some expensive-looking fountain. William stepped out, straighten his coat when his driver opened my door for me.

He was at my side when I stepped out, he linked my hands with him, a smile on his face which I don't know was real or fake. We made our way to the front door and he knocked.

"Listen when I'll touch you, you have to give me a response. I'll kiss you, I want you to kiss me back. When I'll laugh, I want the same from you and if anything went wrong, you know we will go back to 'my' house, this night would be a punishment one for you so, am I making myself clear?" He ended up with a cold expression.

"Hey, you too listen," I started but he shushed me when we heard someone approaching the door and opened it. A pretty lady appeared from the other end her face lighten up with a smile when she saw William.

"William honey, how have you been? I thought I would never be able to see you again," she said as she hugged him making me sad. I remembered when my mom used to embrace me exactly like that but when that lady turns to me her smile was lost and a grimace took its place.

"Who are you honey, I have never seen you around," she asked me but abruptly kept silent as she remembered something "Wait aren't you the bar girl who slapped him?" she questioned while laughing slightly as she was amused by those words.
