CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

His grip on my waist tightened as our kiss goes deeper.

Until...

Until my little angel, Edward came to save me from this awkward moment and from this awkward position.

He cleared his throat while saying, "Bro, you know we have a lot of rooms in this house so might put some purpose to them and do these things in these rooms. We don't mind you know. And yeah it would be great if both your groans and ahem her, her moans can be a little lower down."

Edward, Edward you are not saving be in fact you are enjoying this embarrassing moment of mine.

William smirked while looking at my face,

"Don't forget whose property you are so behave while shopping and will not do anything stupid and reckless which can make everyone suspect on us."

He said and then kissed my neck slowly, "Okay now go, good girl."

Hum! Freaking bast*rd.

"Umm... Okay Mrs, Vernanda let's go." I said and stepped closer to her.

We stepped in the car and went off on our little but pleasant journey.

Our first stop was the most popular boutique for the most expensive gowns. My mouth fell opened when I looked out of the window, we were roaming in the world-class street where only VIP people can buy things. People like me can't even be allowed to enter this area.

"Okay dear first of all don't be shy if you like anything, anything means anything so you just have to put your finger on that item and it will be yours no matter how expensive it will be. And second of all if you keep zoning out like this then there will be no fun in shopping for your wedding dress, right?"

Miss stanza was exactly like my mother to me. The love of a mother which I craved for years where all I want no matter even if I have to deal with the devil for this.

"I understand Mrs.Vernanda don't worry I'm fine," I said politely and softly.

"Good dear, now come out because we are on our destination," she said as the driver opened our doors for us.

As we entered, a gorgeous middle-aged lady greets us "Hello ma'am it's our pleasure to see you again and here the thing which you wanted." she picked a dress and handed it over to her assistant.

"Mrs. Vernanda here is the dress you asked us to prepare, have a look and if you want some more detailed work on this, please feel free to let us know."

"Sure dear," she replied the lady with the same respect.

"Mom, why don't you go for cake testing. I'm here with Jen and if she needs anything she can ask me for it. And at the same, I might spend some time with my sister in law so that I can understand her more. What do you think?" Edward told her mom.

"Seems a pretty good idea. Okay, then it's done, after checking your dress you both will join me upstairs." Mrs. Vernanda told me as she picked me for a warm and big hug.

Well, that's not a good idea please don't leave me alone with Edward. I really wanna say that but can't. And in the end, they won or should I say Edward won. Now, we were both standing in a quiet good type of awkward atmosphere.

"JEN, is there anything you want to tell me and in easy words an explanation?" Edward asked me and at that moment I really want to hug him and want to cry on his shoulder but instead of that, I replied with.

"Look Edward now I'm Your brother's fiancée so I hope you respect my decision cuz we both love each other so there's nothing, I want to explain to you," I said coldly.

"Look Jen I know that none of you love each other so please stop pretending to be lovey-dovey especially in front of me. But yeah don't worry I will not ask you for any reason again and I respect your decision no matter what the reason was."

He stopped for a second or two then turned his face towards me and pecked my cheeks in his hands and said again, "So my dear Jenney from now on we are both best friends, and in the future, if you need anything and want anyone to rely on then I'm always available, okay?" that was the words which I was longing to hear so I hugged him in a big warm hug.

"Okay," I nodded.

"And yeah there's one more thing."

"And what's that?" I asked as I moved my head upward from his chest to see his face which was showing a snickering smile.

"Edward don't tell me you are thinking the same as me. And if yes, then I'm warning you to don't." I said in a warning way which I know was of no use.

"What? I just wanted to help my sister in law in winning my devil-like brother's heart. So, what's wrong with that?" he asked again smirking.

"EDWARD, I'm warning you, and if-" I tried to warn him but instead he cut me off.

"Okay okay, blah blah blah so now go ahead and wear your wedding dress I'm waiting outside," he said and pulled me towards the changing room.

I groaned, "I don't want to and you better listen to me if-" I again tried but like other attempts, I again cut off.

"What do you mean by I don't want to hurry to go shu shu, go."

I laughed at his reaction.
