Scarlett, Jacklyn, Ash, Manson, Tate, Ogron and Heath.

"I'm very sorry for your loss Mrs Winters, but you need to understand we did what had to be done. Scarlett wanted revenge for her father, and he almost killed me and your daughter. We did what we had to, I'm very sorry." Ash apologized.

"I understand that but, why Heath? What did he do? Why did he do it? I think I'm missing the whole story here. Please, explain." Aurora sobbed.

"Well, we can only really explain what we experienced, what we were told by Heath and of course, what Scarlett's mother told us," Jacklyn added.

Ash sighed and got to his feet. He grabbed a book from the bookshelf behind him, flicked through the pages before returning the book to its original place. You could tell he didn't want to do what was about to happen next but had to.

"Ash?" Jacklyn asked concerned.

"I guess we tell her, don't we? She needs to know the full story." Ash said.

Jacklyn nodded before turning her attention back to her mother, who was still sobbing to herself. Ash sighed once more and returned to his seat. Jacklyn picked up the cups and went to make more tea. She shortly returned with the tea and sat down.

"Alright, I guess we start from the beginning?" Ash asked.

Jacklyn nodded.

"Well, how do we tell you this. Scarlett's father used to be a vampire hunter. He and Heath use to be best friends apparently, Oh silly me, Scarlett's father was called Ogron, he was king. Anyway, they use to hunt with each other and all that. Scarlett left the palace at like sixteen I think? Because she knew her father wouldn't accept her for who she wanted to be. So she fled. She wanted to be who she really was, a vampire. She lives the vampirism lifestyle. She is also classed as a legendary hunter now." Jacklyn explained.

"Wait, wait, wait. Scarlett's father was a vampire hunter? and she was a vampire? I thought that was just twilight stuff? Do vampires actually exist? Heath used to be a hunter too? so he killed people?" Aurora asked.

Ash sipped his tea and placed the cup down.

"That right. A vampire hunter only really kills vampires and the occasional mythical being like werewolves and hybrids, Stuff like that. Vampires aren't to be mistaken with the sparkling ones you see in movies, it's more of a human engaging in the instincts of a vampire. So like, drinking blood, having fangs, all that. Don't worry she's not dangerous. She usually feeds off my blood and animal blood. Sometimes Jacklyn's." Ash explained.

"Jacklyn's blood? Do you mean you fed her once?" Aurora asked.

"Only once, Don't worry. Moving on, Heath basically almost killed me, so Scarlett came looking for me in the hunter's mansion. It's a huge mansion that looks really edgy. So we tracked him down and came to the old abandoned building and that's kinda where we finished him off. He injured Ash, me and practically almost killed Scarlett. So we had no choice to kill him." Jacklyn explained.

"Yeah, There's more to the story though. Scarlett's father didn't know she wanted to be a vampire. Her mother, Cadence didn't entirely agree with him for hunting, but he went out and did it anyway. He trained Heath everything he knew, as soon as Orgon got his legendary hunter's title Heath just kinda disappeared out of his life apparently. So, apparently, Heath felt betrayed and got really angry. He trained Manson, another hunter that Scarlett knew along with his friend Tate. Apparently from Heath's mouth, Scarlett's father wanted her to be a hunter, so as soon as she knew she wanted to be a vampire, she left. Because Heath felt so used, he decided that killing Ogron was his only option? He was abusing his powers of a king, so he finished Ogron off." Ash explained.

Aurora dried her tears and sipped her tea. She placed her mug down before standing up. She walked over to the window and stood there looking out into the distance. Ash looked at Jacklyn before placing their mugs down and joining Jacklyn's mother at the window. Jacklyn placed a hand on her shoulder and smiled at her.

"How did I not know any of that? That's like someones entire childhood and life ruined there. All thanks to Heath. I was so close to him and I had no idea." Aurora sighed to herself.

"Because he didn't want to tell you. Probably because he knew you would try to change his mind or stop him? I don't know, but I'm sorry, we did what we had to." Ash softly said.

"Yeah, so we kind of had no choice. Scarlett got really mad, which is understandable. So she wanted vengeance for her father, myself and Ash both helped. Now, he can't hurt anyone else. We've already had the funeral, I had no idea you weren't invited, I thought you would have been. We'd be happy to take you to the grave so you can say your goodbyes whenever you need to." Jacklyn smiled.

Ash nodded in agreement.

"We probably should tell you about Manson and Tate. The two hunters whom Scarlett and Heath both knew very well." Ash added.

Aurora turned and nodded at Ash and Jacklyn.

"Okay, So, before Jacklyn made an appearance at our house, I was out with Scarlett. She got a huge craving, so I let her drink my blood. We thought we were safe in the woods around our house like no one goes in there, but I guess we were caught on an off day. A pair of hunters came and found us. They took Scarlett away and almost killed her. To this day I still don't know the full detailed story. None of us does apart from Scarlett. All I know is what I witnessed, I know they used needles to make her pass out, they slashed her open to get her talking. Just kinda so on from there, you probably could guess the rest. They just abused her almost to death for answers. They wanted to know if she was a vampire and why she drank blood. Basically, pointless questions and answers for what gain? I don't see any." Ash explained.

"Poor Scarlett. She has gone through some stuff. Firstly, being tortured to death for answers, then finding out her father was killed by my husband. I'm so sorry, Please give her my apologies if you ever pass her on your way home." Aurora smiled.

"Of course we will. So you want some fresh air before we continue? We probably could all use some." Jacklyn asked.

Aurora nodded and led them outside to the porch. Aurora and Jacklyn took a seat on the swinging bench while Ash stood at the fencing, leaning against it. It was bright and sunny, the birds were out and there was a very subtle breeze to cool the air from the sun. You could smell the pollen of the bushes and flowers and everything felt relaxing.

"Okay, so I think I got most of the story. Is there anything else?" Aurora asked.

"Yes, following on from what Ash just explained, After Ash had found Scarlett he took the hunters on by himself. He killed Tate doing so, but it was to keep Scarlett alive. Then I came to check up on Scarlett after news spread of a girl described like Scarlett was attacked and almost killed, plus the way they described Tates body, I just knew it was Ash. I caught Ash and Scarlett in the act of drinking blood, I had no idea what to think. I soon came around to accept it after I and Ash had a huge fight. It was pretty pointless, Just kind of who knew her better, blah blah blah. Scarlett then left to go to the hunter's mansion to deal with Manson. none of us knew what she had in mind, but her plan all along was to kill Manson because of what he did to her. So she did. It was a few days after that, that I let her drink my blood. We were alone in the kitchen once and she got a really bad craving, animal blood doesn't always work for her so I had to try my own. After all, that was when Scarlett explained to us who Manson was and that he trained her when she was younger. Then all the stuff we just explained happened, Thats about it." Jacklyn explained after.

"I guess I should add. Jacklyn is a werewolf. No, she doesn't turn into one of those big dogs. She just has the instincts of a werewolf. Kind of like Vampires. Myself? I'm a wolf/vampire hybrid, so I kind of have instincts of both vampire and wolf. We are pretty harmless, we can control ourselves a little better than Scarlett can. I've always wondered why Scarlett struggles to control her cravings. We are not dangerous, so you don't have to worry." Ash added.

"That makes so much more sense. Let me get this straight. Ogron was a hunter and king, Cadence Scarlett's mother is queen, Scarlett is a vampire and legendary hunter, but also princess? Jacklyn is a werewolf and you're a wolf/vampire hybrid. Manson and Tate plus Heath were all just regular hunters, right?" Aurora asked.

Jacklyn nodded in agreement.

"That's right. That's all you need to know really. I just felt we should have come here to explain to you what's been happening and explain about Heath. Ash agreed to go with me." Jacklyn smiled.

Aurora hugged Jacklyn before hugging Ash.

"Thank you. It means a lot. Come inside, I have a little gift for you all." Aurora smiled.

They all proceeded inside and Aurora dug around on her bookshelves before pulling out a little jewellery box. She pulled out a citrine necklace, ring and bracelet and handed them to Jacklyn and Ash.

"Here, Citrine is a stone for wealth, protection and good luck. You guys certainly could use it. The ring is for Scarlett, of course, Bracelet is for you Ash and the Necklace is for you Jacklyn. I hope they do bring you all protection." Aurora smiled, placing the necklace on Jacklyn and the Bracelet on Ash.

"They're beautiful, thank you. I'm sure Scarlett will love this too. I think that's all we came here for, We best head on home before Scarlett wonders where we are. Thank you, Aurora. It was great seeing you again. " Ash smiled before waving goodbye.

"Thank you, mother. I shall see you again soon I'm sure." Jacklyn smiled hugging Aurora.

"Goodbye, thank you for dropping by. Please stay safe and alive. Tell scarlett im sorry." Aurora smiled, waving.
