"Ash used to say that to me quite a lot when he used to let me drink his blood." Scarlett sighed.
Scarlett turned her head away from James and attempted to hide her face. She didn't want James to see the emotion on her face. She knew inside that Ash would never let her drink his blood ever again, not after what she did to him.
"Scarlett, what's wrong? You don't usually act like this. I can tell something is wrong." James questioned, concerned.
"I don't really wanna say anything, but I've been thinking about a lot lately. Ever since I woke up from that bed and since we got here and while I was drinking your blood, I've just had thoughts running through my mind." Scarlett slowly spoke.
"What kind of thoughts? It's just you and me in here; you can tell me. Scarlett, you usually don't let things bother you, so when you shy away from talking to someone, it indicates that something extreme is eating at you." James said.
