(186) Finally Feels Like home

"Well, today has been a busy day." James yawned.

"Yeah, tell me about it. We better get some sleep though. Plus, you sound tired." Scarlett chuckled.

"Plus, our furniture should be here tomorrow as well, right?" James asked,

Scarlett nodded.

"Yeah, we best head off to bed then," James said.

James and Scarlett made their way upstairs and got ready for bed. They both climbed into their warm, luxury-quilted bed and snuggled into each other for the night.

The following day James had gotten up early and gotten a head start on decorating, ready for when the furniture arrives. Matias and William were already there, finishing up in the other room. The smell of paint drifted through the house and into the bedroom. The strong smell of chemicals slowly woke Scarlett up from her sleep.

"James?" Scarlett asked in a sleepy voice.

"Good morning, beautiful." James smiled.

"Why do I smell paint?" Scarlett asked, sitting up.
