Kayleigh's pov

After Eddie took shower, he left the room so I made my way towards the washroom to look at my reflection in the mirror and I looked like a drunken mess. I picked up a spare tooth brush, brushed my teeth, washed my face and made my way to the living room holding my head. I looked at the hungover faces of Emily, Beth and Sam while Jay, Dan and some other stranger watched them with amusement. Eddie walked towards me with a glass of water and 2 aspirins, putting the aspirin in my mouth and handing me the glass, "This should help you with your hangover." Jay snorted passing a comment "Yeah, trust him. He has quite some experience with that!" Dan commented looking pissed, "I don't understand why you guys have to drink your sorrow away." Sam threw him a death glare holding her head in her hands, "Says the one whose drunk ass I dragged out of a club after smashing poor bartender's face when he refused to serve you drinks!" Entire room erupted in laughter, I walked towards an empty couch and slouched back "Guys, not right now please. I feel like my head will burst any moment." A butler arrived announcing that the breakfast was ready and everyone practically ran towards the dining room. Everyone took their seats leaving me and Eddie the last available chairs, he sat on the head chair and I sat on the adjacent seat to his right. Everyone were so hungry that no one even bothered to look up from their food except Eddie, he would steal glances at me every time our elbows brushed while eating. I looked towards the door when I heard the sound of heels clicking, Patsy arrived with Haley in her arms. I ran towards her taking Haley in my arms, I kissed Haley all over face, "Aww my darling, mommy missed you so much. Did you have fun with your aunt?" she giggled and rested her head on my neck and before I could say anything else Eddie towered behind me wrapping his hands around me and Haley to drop a peck on her temple. She extended her arms towards him asking him to take her in his arms, He took Haley from my arms "Hey, my little cupcake did you miss daddy?" she did goo-Gaa in her baby language while he smiled genuinely wrapping her other arm around her, "Daddy missed you too princess". My heart warmed up seeing the duo get along so well, I looked around and found everyone looking at us in awe so I cleared my throat and walked backed to the dining table pretending like nothing happened. "What day is it today?" he held back his head in laughter, "One night you get drunk and next morning you forget what day is it today." I rolled my eyes "Haha funny. Will you just tell me already?" he answered it is Friday, I got up from my seat in panic "Oh shit it is Friday today, I have to go visit my parents." Eddie walked towards me holding Haley, "You didn't tell me anything about it Kay?" I opened my mouth to speak but words dried out in my mouth, he gave me half smile, "I'll come with you if that's okay with you?" I gave him a slight nod not sure if it is a good idea, he continued to speak taking out his phone, "we will take our jet so we can reach early." He left before I could answer or tell him that my father asked to see him. I looked around to see everyone watching the encounter with curiosity, I sat back on my chair and looked at Sam, Emily and Beth, "Do you guys remember what happened last night?" Jay looked at me amused, "You don't?" I shook my head while everyone around me smirked while Sam spoke faking a serious tone, "We left the party early, I saw you eye fucking Eddie so we didn't bother to take you. Later at dawn we saw Eddie entering the house holding you in bridal style while you wrapped your arms around his neck like a damsel in distress, my cheeks burned from the inside with that thought and everyone erupted in laughter. Eddie came back and looked at us in confusion, "Kay, I'll go pack my stuff once I am done we can get yours and Haley's bags and then we can leave for airport, The jet is ready to take off and also Diego will be driving us to the airport!" I gave him a single nod hoping that the color on my cheeks wouldn't be noticed by him (I mean since when did he start explaining things?). Beth took Haley in her arms and left the dining room, everyone followed her except me and Eddie. I followed Eddie to his room to ask him if he knows where my phone is, when I asked him if he knew where my phone is, he didn't look surprised instead picked up my phone from the night stand and handed me. I looked at him still not sure if I should tell him but he spoke, "Kay, I can tell something is bothering you. Just tell me what is it?" I sighed and answered, "Yesterday my father called me wanting to meet both of us." He gave me half smile and assured me that everything will be okay. I left the room and dropped a quick text to my parents informing them about my company and also to ask dad to compose himself in front of the company. Six hours later we arrived at my childhood home, I rang the bell of my father's mansion, to my surprise my dear father opened the door with a frown. I went forward to give him a hug but before I knew it, his fist landed on Eddie's face. I pursed my lips not sure whether to laugh or scold my dad, Eddie composed himself and smiled at my dad, "It's nice to meet you Sir. I am Edward!" Dad frowned at him but anyways let the door wide open for us, letting us in. The moment we got inside, Dad lifted Haley in his arms and throwing her in air, catching her back until Haley threw a fit of laughter and kissed her. Mom came running towards me and gave me a big bear hug, her eyes filled with tears, "I missed you so much cupcake". I hugged her back, "I missed you too, mom." My mom looked at Eddie and extended her hand, "You must be Edward Raines, I am Diana." Eddie shook hands with her, "It is nice to meet you ma'am, you can call me Eddie. My friends and family call me that." Mom smiled genuinely to him, "you can drop the formality, Diana is fine and meet my husband Jake Stevens." He extended his hand to my dad and my dad took it, "It's nice to meet you sir." Dad just gave him a nod, To say this reunion is awkward would be an understatement.
