Chapter 46: Memorable Operation

As the crickets turn quiet and the birds start chirping, the Sun rises. You try to stretch in bed but quickly realize you are limited. The Foxes take up most of your Stretchingroom.

Wagging their Tails, presumably from their loved one waking up, they let out some Fox yawns and stretch.

"Morning you two, slept well?" you ask them, patting their Heads.

" *Fox Yawn* Yes~ did you?" Katie asks, tilting her head.

"With you two, always." you say with a smile.

"Geez Dan~ teasing us again~" Kate says, pouting.

The Foxes dress and go downstairs to prepare breakfast. As you stand up on your bed you realize, today is the last day of Active Duty. You grab your Pair of pants and a T-shirt and go downstairs, the Foxes welcome you with a bright smile.

"Where's the rest?" you ask.

"Still sleeping, go wake them please." Kate orders you.

Walking towards Katya's door first, you give them a fierce and strong knock on the door. A few yawns and a loud bed screech are heard, including footsteps. Last stop Kally's room, you proceed in the same manner. Afterwards, you head to the Kitchen to enjoy a magic breakfast.

Everyone arrives by the time the Foxes have made breakfast. Katya seems a little unease.

"Katya, you alright?" you ask her.

"Dan, we... we will move out of your home. We've bought the one next to yours so that we are neighbours." Katya explains.

"That's good! So you're going to stay in Town?" you ask happily.

"Yes, we all loved the feeling of living a normal life. One where you're not constantly bombarded by reports, papers and documents every day." Katya adds.

The Talk continues, she explains how her new Property is similar to yours in some ways. The Backyards are identical.

Breakfast has quickly disappeared into everyone stomachs, meaning that it is time to mount up and move out.

"Ladies, would you mind getting dressed?" you tell your Foxes.

"Right away, hears your special Tea, Dan." Katie presents you with a special Tea.

"Dan, I've talked with Tilu and we've decided not to marry you. Not because we don't like you or that you're not attractive. We just love how things are now, I hope you understand." Kally confesses.

"It's alright, don't worry about it." you give them all head pats, joining your Girlfriends in the Weapons Chamber to change clothes as well.

"Uh... I didn't ask at all. Do you two have enough bras?" you ask them out of the blue.

"We do, don't worry about it~" they answer with a smile.

"Dan, we need to tell you something before we leave." they confess.

"Sure, let me just get my Shirt and boots on, then we can go." you tell them, hoping that the thing they want to say is good.

Minutes pass and you three are ready, together you head to the Garage giving one last wave to everyone inside the house. The Foxes jump into the back and stretch their legs in the room available.

You start the engine and wait for it to warm up a little bit and slowly drive out, making sure that the Garage door is closed before leaving.

"So, what do you two want to tell me?" you ask them.

They hesitate, looking at each other with worried looks. Nothing compared to what you've seen on them before.

"Dan... we are pregnant." they struggle to say.

You hit the brake faster than your brain can process their words,

"That's fantastic you two!" you almost yell.

They stare at you with a worried look, probably confused by your reaction.

"But, are you two sure you want to join me on this mission?" you ask.

"Yes Dan, we are... as it will be our last one together. We want to make it memorable." they add.

"Alright, relax you two. This going to be a long ride." you tell them, leaning back in your seat your heart is jumping around from the news.

As you drive towards the Gate, the Spirits come forth.

"Congratulations on their pregnancy Milord." the Spirits congratulate.

"Thanks you two, 'never thought I would see this day." you think to yourself.

The Gate opens as you leave, a message popped out on your Device. Your Men will be waiting for you at the Rendezvous Point, they will take an Aerial Transport Vehicle.

"Oh yeah, before I forget! Girls, I loaded the mass amount of Guns and Gear that we don't need into the Back, so we can sell them afterwards." you add.

"Oh~ that's why it feels so heavy back here." the Girls say, laughing.

Flooring the accelerator, the Engines howls as a response. As expected from Russian Top-Tier Engineering, everything works in Unison, not one part is left out. The Vehicle can achieve a top speed of 80km/h which it can maintain for as long as it has fuel, and the Engine is cooled of course.

The Time of the Operation start is just a few hours away, the Foxes will most likely fall asleep from the relaxing Engine rumble.

Currently, it is 10:12 AM. Hoping that Russian Forces have secured the Area before your Arrival. On the other hand, NATO interference is possible.

The Hours passed quickly, the playful rumble of the Engine made for perfect ambient Noise. As you pull up on the Old Outpost of Deiya, you notice that there is no one inside. Rather, everyone seems to be on the Hilltop to the right of the Outpost. You barely spot a few heads moving around, a friendly Combat Vehicle passes your Car. The Driver waves at you, waving back as he passes you get a radio message.

"Chief, it's Sergey. We have bad news up here. Please leave the Vehicle down there."

You hurry and wake the Foxes, they grab their SVD's and yank them on their Back. With vests and gloves on, they're ready to follow you.

"Only speak in a quiet Tone, I don't know what is going on up there, but if you do something stupid. I'll punish you myself, understood?" you speak in a dead-serious tone.

"We understood, please proceed." they answer.

Together you move up the Hilltop, gazing upon all the scientific and construction-related Equipment you are amazed that they didn't finish at least the Foundation of the Outpost.

"Sergey, what's wrong?" you quickly ask.

"The Scouts found a Scavenger Group 1km from us, for the past hour we've been trying to find them. We think they're in that little Forest there." Sergey point.

The Foxes rush towards the front of the Hilltop Position and seem to be using their Scopes to scout.

"Dan, East of us is movement. Infantry only, group of 20 up to 40 strong." the Foxes quickly spot the Target the others have been failing for the past hour.

"Good Girls, well done. Dima, request more Forces. Boris, keep an eye on them. Sergey, what units do we have?" you issue orders to everyone.

The Situation is dire as Sergey points out, the Supply Line is running thin. The Russian victories in the past weeks were overwhelming for the Logistics and they couldn't make a solid supply line up to here.

"Fucking great... so we have the four of us and five other Spetsnaz?" you ask, trying to find a way to solve this. Sergey affirms.

"How long till the Builders lay down the Walls?" you ask.

"2 Hours at best, the materials that are needed are present. But the lack of manpower is dragging us down." Sergey explains.

"Alright, Builders extend the perimeter by another 7 meters and set some barbed wire at the East-side of the Hill. Spetsnaz, you cover them. Understood?" you arrange actions.

Time passes, the Scavenger group has not moved closer at all. The Builders are almost done, some of them even went onto laying down the Foundation of the Houses and Guard towers. The new Outpost will be larger than the one downhill, with improved defences and a lowered height of Buildings. The Hill isn't too tall, it still remains a hill with a flat top.

After setting up the Walls and the bottom-hill barbed wire, Russian Reinforcements finally arrive. But they magically attract the Scavenger from their Ambush positions.

"Girls, cover fire! Sergey on me! Dima call'em out! Sergey... it's up to us." you yell to them.

You start running down the Hill, eventually... falling backwards and start sliding down. Straight into the Scavenger line of fire.

The Russian Reinforcements are caught in the worst moment of their Arrival. You dash over to them and organize their Defence, quickly gaining a handful of ground. The Foxes up the hill start firing at the charging Scavengers.

They pull the trigger faster than you can watch the dead bodies hit the ground. The marksmanship of the highest skill level.

The Scavengers are in a state of disarray, the Foxes shooting them like fish in a barrel. Coupled with the Fierce resistance of the allied Reinforcements, makes for a demoralizing firefight.

All it is left, are scavengers who surrender, on their knees throwing their Rifles onto the Ground. You quickly walk up to them... and put a bullet in their brain.

"Get to work, we need to get this Outpost set up today. I need some Men on these Bodies." you yell.

The Buildings are completed by early afternoon, perfect timing to let the residents of the old Outpost move in and organize their new Home in day-light conditions. Deiya heard the Firefight, she offers you a temporary-residents in one of their highly requested "Guest Residences".

Together with the Foxes you lay down your arms and relax, after a few moments of high stress some rest is key to good health. Starting to dive into self-blame, the Foxes lay their heads on your Chest.

"You two sure love this...." you say.

"Yup~! You don't?" they ask, you give them head pats, letting them know that you enjoy this as well.

A time of rest, until you get done to business with Deiya in relation to the mass-number of Guns and Gear you have brought with you, not only to equip the Outpost but also to gain some finance.
