Home sweet—Hello

'This dumb motherlover has some nerve to say it's you, after five years of ignoring my existence and living happily with the devil. Either he's finally realized he took the wrong sister, or he's finally grown bored of her. It's doesn't matter to me, because I'll never be anyone's second choice.' Bella nods her head back and forth, looking like a complete lunatic.

"Stupid dumb no good ugly bum big jerk motherfu—" She holds her tongue refraining from using such ugly words, that should never come out one's mouth, let alone in the presence of another.

After Bella arrives at her small, two-bedroom one-bath house, which has recently started falling apart, she swears not to use any curse words that her dear sweet elderly step-mother wouldn't approve of as she takes in the house.

"Mama, I'm home," she shouts as she enters.

Bella can't stand the sight of her house. Not because it looks terrible, but because Ella and her evil step-sisters stole all of her and her step-mother's money, robbing them of the chance to have a better home. It's not a sight to look at really. When you walk in you see pulled up worn out floorboards, and an ugly beat-up pink couch, that doesn't at all match. Then go to your right, there is a tiny stove -- curtsy of Ella as a 'stay the hell away, and don't cause any trouble because if you do I'll make you pay', which she gladly excepted. Her reasoning was, if the prince couldn't the difference between glass and ruby, there is absolutely no way in hell he's going to tell the difference between her and Ella, and that being the case, she doesn't want nor need him. Then you go through the kitchen, and there's a washroom on the right and two bedrooms on the left which Bella and her stepmother sleep in.

"Mama?"After not hearing from her in a while Bella can't help but worry. Especially since she's been having health issues recently.

"MAMA!" She screeches as the panic builds up within her body.

"Outback my dear." Bella instantly relaxes knowing her mothers okay.

"Hey, Mama." She gives her a bone-crushing hug.

Nowadays, all her mother Helen--or commonly known as--Lady Tremaine does is sit outside and reminisce on the past. Bella honestly doesn't understand how Ella could've been so cruel and have made everyone believe she was a stone-cold bitch. This sweet old brunette, with a few streaks of gray, would never hurt a hair on anybody's hair.

Her train of thoughts is broken when someone purposely clears their throat.

Bella looks over and sees the prince who's curiously examining her, and his second in command, Brian.

"Dear," Helen says to Bella. She's either completely oblivious to the deadly glares she's getting from Brian, or she's ignoring them.

"Isn't this the prince you danced with at the ball? The one you were supposed to marry instead of that horrid child Ella?" Bella mentally palms her face.

Somethings you tell your mother, you expect her not to say in front of the person they're about. Maybe old age has finally caught up with Helen.

Blushing severely, Bella turns to the King and Brian. Brian somehow gives off even more deadly glares and the King who looks even more interested than before. "I'm sorry, my mother's delusional."

The more Bella tries to deny associating with the King, it seems the more evidence building up against her.

"Clearly!" Brian rudely mutters.

"That's it!" Her mother can hardly ever show her face in public because of Ella's lies, and Bella'd be damned if her mother gets treated the same way she does outside, in the comfort of her own home.

"I've seen your glares, and the rude comment was the last straw. No one, I mean no one disrespects my mother, SO KINDLY GET THE HELL OUT MY HOUSE." Losing her temper she yells towards the end and uses a word she swore only minutes ago that she wouldn't.

He had the same look on his face as the king did earlier. Quickly masking his expression he says, "You do know who I am right?"

'Of course I do he's another idiot that fell for Ella's wicked charms and lies. Another poor soul who got so lost in her beauty that they can't see past her facade.' Is what Bella is thinking but says nothing.

"My apologies on my unseemly words, but I really would appreciate it if-" Bella mumbled, "you would get the fuck out," then back in her regular voice. "You'd leave our home and quit disturbing our peace." She forcefully bows as a sorry ass attempt to show some form of respect.

"Leave! Why should I have to leave this trash ass house that this Wench deserves to live in because of what she did to our lovely Queen. Hell she deserves worst than this, she deserves death." Brain grabs Helen and roughly pushes her to the ground.

Something snaps in Bella seeing the woman that did her best to raise her, her evil sister, and ingrate step-sisters, being treated like trash deeply disturbed her.

With a deadly look in her eyes she grabbed Brian's arm with a bone crushing grip, and said, "I don't care who you are royalty or peasant, rich or poor, famous or unknown, if you EVER, I mean ever lay your hands on my mother again, I'll fucking blow your brains out." Releasing his arm she pushed him towards the exit.

"Now please do yourself a favor and leave my, 'trash ass' home." Bella said in a mocking tone.

"Who even are you, you're not at all mention in any of Queen Ella's stories. Only her Evil stepmother and step-sisters who she forgave, so who the hell are you?" Brian takes a step forward and for the first time takes a good look at Bella.

This could get ugly real fast, and Bella knows that.

"I'm- I'm Helen's car-caretaker." Bella fumbles trying to come up with a good lie.

"Oh really? Then why do you call her mama?" He asks getting all up in her personal space.

"She has a bad memory and requested that I call her Mama because it reminds her of the daughters that don't come to visit." Bella says getting the hang of lying on the spot.

She glances over a the King praying he'll take pity on her and she'll be saved from his meddlesome friend. The King however looks very amused, but behind his amusement is curiosity, he too wants to know more about the girl he has a faint memory of.

'Why the hell has he not left!" Bella mentally grabs her and and pulls it as hard as she can.

Realizing she'll get absolutely no help from him, Bella puts her hand up in defeat. "I helped plan Ella's horrible stay at that house. I was the true mastermind behind it." Bella says knowing Brian would believe this lie over the truth.

His face turns to one of disgust, not that Bella minds since he's a no one to her.

"You're even worst than her, just looking at you makes me sick." He spat out like it was the only way for him to get his words out.

Shrugging her shoulder, Bella had realized long ago that in ever story there's a main and side character. Everyone loves, believes, and worships the main, but the side gets very little attention and is easily discarded. In this story Ella is the main and Bella's the side so no one would ever believe her truth.

Plus it's better to have people hate you, then think you're crazy, or at least that's what Bella thinks.

"You evilevilevilevilevil girl!" Brian glares while pointing his finger at her.

Bella who is sick and tired of him ranting says agitatedly, "Please get out because of my sister Ella comes here and finds us all she'll think we're conspiring something and that we only-"

'Huh!' Bella gasp realizing what she just let slip out of her mouth.

All eyes appear to be on her, as she mentally beats herself up letting that slip.

"Your who?" A soft voice most would call soothing says from behind her.

As chills shoot up her spine Bella stand rigidly, frozen in fear, as she heard the voice of someone she thought she'd never see again.

"E- Ella?" Bella says on the verge of tears.

Her worst nightmare has literally come to life.
