"What the fuck!" "Calm down Alex." "No! THAT MAN TORTURED HIM FOR MOST OF HIS GOD DAMN LIFE AND YOU STILL WANT HIM IN YOUR LIFE! You're a stupid ass for wanting him back in your life." "Alex stop!" Samantha shouted. "No fuck his motherfucking disgrace he calls a father. I'm more of a fucking man than he could ever be." "Alex that's enough!" I said, "I want the dad that the kid me was proud of back. That version of him was the greatest dad on this fucking planet. Am I really wrong for wanted him back?" "I'm so fucking disappointed in you Ken." he said before hanging up.

  "That was awkward." Ayumi stated. "Don't worry Ken; I'll talk to him." She left the call and went and messaged me as she went to speak to Alex. "Well, Ken I understand where you're coming from but what if he never returns to the man you knew as a kid. Plus, we don't know what that dream means. I just want the best for you babe." "I know but I just want both of my parents in my life. You don't know what's it like to wait for someone just to be disappointed. I know he hurt my mom and I but despite that I still love the old him."

  "I'll always be by your side no matter what but are you sure you're dad can be the man you knew or better?" "I'm not sure but I hope he does." "Then take some time to think it out and let your mother deal with you talking to your dad." I agreed and we took the opportunity to talk to each other so we can have some alone time. "So how is your writing going?" "I got an idea for a new story." "Ouuu. What is it about?" "It's about a world that's inhabited with humans that have uncanny abilities but the main character gets his powers late so he has to catch up with the others."

  "Ah, have you gotten a title for it yet?" "I was thinking of calling it a Loser's Redemption." "That sounds nice. I can't wait to read it." "It's not a short story this time. It's going to be novel that I'm going to upload chapters on a site called Webnovel." "I thought you were using Wattpad." "My stories are getting more exposure on there plus I heard it's easier to get contracts." "Oh ok. Once you don't get scammed or anything." "Nah they have a discord and everything so it's safe. All of the people there are so nice and welcoming."

  Meanwhile, Samantha was on a call with Alexander. "Don't tell me to calm down Sam cuz Ken is a fucking dumbass-" "You don't know what it's like to be in his shoes so you shouldn't be so hard on him." "Nah! That man put his hands on one of my best friends. I'd punch him in his fucking stomach. That bastard does NOT deserve to be in Ken's life." "I think so too but focus your anger on Ken's dad not Ken. He just wants the man that he knows and loves." "But still Ken should hate him not miss him. That man did too much bad stuff to Ken and yet he still wants him."

  "My parents died in a car crash Alex so I know how it feels to lose parents. It's nothing I'd ever want for someone. So, I somewhat understand what he feels. So, I'm begging  you Alex to calm down and be understanding when it comes to Ken's feelings. He let out a noise of frustration but then after he conceded. "I still disagree with him but I won't argue with him anymore." "Good that's all I wanted from you Alex." "Anyways I got to go. School is going to start in a few hours." "Ok bye." Samantha lied down on the bed and gazed through the windows to look at the clouds. "Mom and dad, I hope you're looking after me because I need you. I know I have to be strong for my big brother but can he look after me on his own? I just miss you so much. I want you to be with me right now."

  "Sis, I didn't know you felt that way." a man said after opening Samantha's bedroom door. "Shakobi! I just, I mean um. I don't know what to say to be honest." He almost broke down in tears. "I've doubted myself as well that I can take care of you but my colleagues told me that I'm doing a good job. Despite that I knew you had to be suffering but it didn't seem that way because you've been spending so much time with your friends that it distracted you from it. I'm so glad that your friends have been treating you so kindly."

  Samantha embraced her brother as she cried. "I just need to be strong but I'm crying right now." "Being strong doesn't mean you don't cry. Heck it makes you stronger when you can display your tears to someone else." "You know you are my favorite counselor, right?" "I know and you are the best sibling in the entire world." They hugged for a while and after they let go of each other Shakobi wiped her tears away. "Welp, you got school so start getting ready. "Okay bro." She began bathing while singing in the bathroom.

  Alexander had a lot on his mind. "Damn was I an asshole to Ken. I know his father did him bad but instead of being mad at his father I got mad at him. Some kind of friend I am." He then punched his wooden wall and started scratching his head vigorously. "I made Ken upset with me. We're supposed to best bros forever. How could I just treat him like that after he has been through a lot." he let out a sigh after contemplating. "First thing first I'm going to say sorry. He deserves that. Also, I need to be a better friend and not let my emotions get the better of me. Hopefully, he still is going to want to be my friend because without him I don't know what I'm going to do."

  After talking to himself for a long time he hears knocking on his door. "I'm coming!" He opens the door only to see his mother there. "It's time for you to prepare for school or you're going to be late young man." "Okay mom." He takes off his clothes and heads to bathe. He could not stop thinking about whether or not I still wanted to be his friend. That caused his focus to be out of whack and he took longer to get ready for school than normal. He then prayed, begging God to still allow him to be friends with me before he left his house.
