Superman is showing Shazam around Metropolis and what he expects him to do while they are away. He took him along to free people from car wrecks,, transporting injured people to hospitals, stopping robbers, helping with industrial/commercial accidents, and lastly dealing with villains.

Shazam was trying to prove himself to Superman and had made some small mistakes that could be easily over looked. Superman was oddly surprised. Shazam was far more personable and focused than he had originally been when they met two days ago. It was on one of these trips that Shazam got a wake up call. They had just left after dropping off some injured people after an accident.

Superman and Shazam heard an explosion. Turning and flying towards the trouble the two made it. They hovered in the air as the fires from the explosion were engulfing the tech company. From the rubble and flames came Bizzaro. The pale skinned, failed clone of Superman was holding a canister that was labeled hazardous.

Looking up Bizzaro growled as he saw his nemesis. "Why you here Superman? Why can't you leave Bizzaro alone?"

"You know I can't leave you when you are stealing from a tech company. Plus you caused an explosion which threatened the surrounding people. You already promised you wouldn't do that. Why are you here? What is that in your hand?" Superman asked after he had confirmed there were no casualties. His voice was very calm when speaking to his opposite.

As he was waiting for a response Superman breathed out and snuffed out the flames. Bizzaro put a hand over his face to block the wind. After the wind dispersed Bizzaro looked at Superman again. "I need chemicals to heal body and mind. Broken place is only place to have it. Or so Bizzaro is told."

"Oh who was it that told you that?" Superman asked as he floated down to the ground. He stood opposite Bizzaro, ready for any movement but he hoped he wouldn't need it. He had come to understand Bizzaro, if only a little. He was a failed experiment who wished to do good even if he was created to do evil. After thinking about the comparison between Bizzaro and Broly Superman could not help but feel a need to fix the situation so there was not a cycle of events.

"Weird person in shadow. Wanted Bizzaro to aid them in actions. They think Bizzaro simple but not the case. Bizzaro smart. He show you a picture." Bizzaro looked at a flat block of the wall and using his laser beam vision he created a replica of the person in shadow.

Superman looked at the replica and said, "The Brain. What does he want with you?"

"Bizzaro does not know. Only know to pick up chemicals for Brain for aid in healing mind. Need to leave now. Meet again Superman." Bizzaro said as he started to float up into the air.

"Wait. Put that chemical can back." Superman said. Holding up a hand he stopped Bizzaro's response. "I know the owner of this company. You and I will go ask him for the canister. If he agrees you can take it with you."

Bizzaro looked on with squinted eyes. "Why you do this?"

"You deserve better than what I have given you in the last years. I want to bridge that gap now. So please just follow me I am sure the owner would be willing to aid you." Superman said as he gestured for Bizzaro to put back the canister.

Looking back and forth between the canister and Superman's hand Bizzaro was not able to come to a decision until Superman said very softly, "Louis still worries about you. She will be hurt should you be turning back to crime again."

Bizzaro made up his mind and turned to replace the canister into the destroyed laboratory. Looking at the wide open wall Bizzaro looked on and said, "Uh. Oops."

Superman could not hold back the smile. "That can be taken care of easily. Now let's go talk to the owner."

Bizzaro left after nodding, following Superman as he flew to the top of the building. On the side of the building two large letters were present, W. E., standing for Wayne Enterprises.

Shazam who had been prepared for a long knock-out drag-out fight watched Superman deal with the situation with his words over his strength. He received a gesture when they appeared by Superman to stay back. He was actually glad he did. This was not something that was featured on the news often. When a villain was talked down rather than beaten down.

Shazam could not say he was entirely satisfied with the result after seeing Sueprman on the TV so often. But it was at this point he noticed the families in the surrounding area. Knowing that Bizzaro was one of the only enemies known at this point that could fight on par with Superman.

Following along they reached the top of the building and met with Bruce Wayne the owner of Wayne Industries. After hearing about the situation Bruce agreed only after he got assurances that he would get the canister back over the chemical since it was new developmental container.

Shazam watched Bizzaro fly off before he turned to Superman. "Why did you let him go?"

"He has the mind of a young child. Though there are limits to it he has never been a real dangerous threat since he was created to replace me he has the same morals and ideals. But after his transformation some of his capabilities fell away. One such was his mental capacity. Though he is a replica of me he is not the greatest threat. The Brain on the other hand could turn him into a very dangerous threat. So I let him go with the aid of Bruce Wayne and a locator on the canister." Superman said as he held up a GPS tracking system in his hand.

"Oh. That does make sense. But I figured you would have been attacking and figuring out the reason later." Shazam said as he looked off while scratching his cheek.

"I can understand how you would think that. If he had been threatening the people then I would not have stopped to talk. It was only after I knew he didn't harm anyone that I let him go in hopes of finding a more dangerous criminal." Superman said.

"Wow. You sound like a detective not a super hero." Shazam said as he looked at Superman.

Smirking Superman slightly nodded, "I picked that up from Batman since he does exactly this kind of thing in Gotham. You will pick up your own things from the others. I mean speaking with my enemies was something I learned to do more from the Flash. He has turned some of his enemies into friends by just speaking to them like they are humans rather than enemies. I hope to do the same since my enemies seem to be much more dangerous due to their identical actions of causing immense collateral damage." Superman said with a wry smile.

Shazam looked on his personal hero and came to realize how much more being a hero entailed besides saving people. Sometimes you had to be a good person to aid even those you would fight against to reach the right solution for everyone.

Bizzaro left Metropolis and headed to the location told to him by the Brain. Seeing that it was a cavern near a river Bizzaro stared at the water flowing. He started day dreaming about the time he spent in the wild. He had become a hermit and lived in a yurt in the wilderness. He had everything he could ever want after all his burglaries. He had built his own fortress of solitude in the wilds. His mind was slow but that did not mean he didn't have Kryptonian knowledge and all that entailed.

Shaking his head Bizzaro looked on and saw the cavern wall open up before him. Flying in he examined the area. He saw many weapons emplacements and traps for the unknowledgeable and unprepared. He heard machines working in constant motion not far away. Computers hummed and a conversation between the French Brain and another person with a voice modulator stopped as he landed with the canister in his hands.

A few seconds later the Brain appeared from behind an upward sliding door. Rolling in with his machine and brain in a jar he gestured with his automated arms. "Well done Bizzaro. With this your mind will be fixed and I will have one more thing to aid me in my plans for the future." Turning his machine body he left the same way he came in. "Please follow me and I will prep for the procedure."

Bizzaro followed as he thought on the words the Brain and the unidentified person spoke.

"I will finish the procedure then we can begin the plan." The Brain said.

"If this procedure works then we will be one step closer to the final goal. Do aid Bizzaro to the best of your abilities. He deserves a leg up in the coming confrontation. I mean what will he do if he can not fight Superman toe to toe when he shows his true colors, as well as the rest of the league." The unknown speaker said.

"Indeed. The Justice League will be brought into the Light." The Brain said.

"Yes. Into the Light. Where the world will tear down their own heroes." The unknown speaker said.

"I must go. Bizzaro is here. I will speak to you after the procedures are done." The Brain said. Seconds later the Brain appeared before Bizzaro.

It seems the Justice League will have a lot of trouble in the future if these two have their way. Well once he is fixed Bizzaro will likely take a look into this. He wouldn't let these people harm Louise, in any way shape or form. That is what someone did for someone they loved. Even if they were never to be together.

That was love.

Batman and Green Arrow are on a mission given to them by Superman and Shazam. They had followed the canister to another city. In the surroundings there was a cavern near a river. The two silently made their way towards the location of the tracking signature. Stealthily creeping up they used their utility equipment to force the door open with a hack and nano machines to cut the locks away.

With the door open the two disappeared into the shadows while avoiding all the detection systems across the cave. Making their way through the lair they found a lot of equipment and supplies. After about an hour of searching they found the laboratory. Sneaking in they saw a room filled with three stands. One held the sleeping form of Bizzaro. The other two after examination were found to have housed two different humans.

From the data they couldn't determine who they were but from the rest they found their ancestry at least. Both were of caucasian decent, one male, one female. From the data they found that the Brain did more than fix Bizzaro. He sole his genetic code as well as a sample that would be enough to build two new threats if the data was right.

"Damn it. We were too late." Batman said as he kept looking at the data. The chemical was something he had put into testing after finding Broly. It was a sample of the fusion material. Well actually a far knock off that Batman was trying to synthesis into other properties for food production. But it seems that some people had gotten word on his break through.

Looking around Batman found a table with a holographic projector. Initiating the program he looked up the deleted records, finding nothing. Or at least he couldn't. Maybe his super computer could do something with the broken data.

Green Arrow who staring at the sleeping Bizzaro asked Batman. "What do you want to do with him?" As he pointed a ready to draw arrow with a light green glowing tip.

"We will wake him and talk. If he doesn't want to talk we will just find him at another time." Batman said as he walked up to Bizzaro and placed a tracker. After that was done he put a hand to his hip and pulled out a pair of things. One a capsule filled with waking chemicals and second he pulled out a piece of Kryptonite.

Using the chemicals Batman backed away before they floated into Bizzaro's nose. A. second later Bizzaro's eyes popped open and he flashed into a floating position looking at the two.

"Well if it isn't Batman. Been a while Bats how is Gotham these days?" Bizzaro asked.

Batman was startled but kept his expression as blank as possible. But he could not stop the micro expressions that passed in nanoseconds from escaping his control. Bizzaro saw this and proceeded to smile. It was worrying smile. One that gave a sense of uncertainty and endless troubled.

"Well I expect my speech has finally returned to normal. I am glad to see that the procedure worked. Now if you two don't mind I will be leaving. I want to test my capabilities now that they have returned." Bizzaro said as he turned away from the two silent figures.

"Stop. Tell us what the Brain has planned." Batman said stoically as he held himself ready for action.

"No I don't think I will. Only one thing matters to me. If it becomes threatened then I will speak to you. Until then leave me alone." Bizzaro said as he disappeared in a burst of wind.

"Well that was sufficiently terrifying." Green Arrow said as he breathed out a sigh.

"Yes. Superman's enemies are always terrifying." Batman said as he finished up collecting all the data he could. "Lets go. There isn't anything else for us to find." Turing away and melding into the shadows. Green Arrow followed suit and left the empty lair.

Wonder Woman was fighting against the industrial building crane that canted to the side. She was waiting for the last two workers to reach the bottom. As they did she lifted and tore the crane off the building. That done she took it to an open area and placed it down.

With an echoing gong the crane was laid on the ground. Looking around she found paparazzi and gawking passersby. Sighing she turned away and flew off but not after waving at the crowd. From their cheers Dianna felt a completeness resettle into her mind and soul again. This is what she was meant to do.

To protect and save the people of this world.

Her world.

As she was thinking this Dianna felt a divine message enter her mind. "Your Armor has been completed my daughter. Come to your home and claim it." Zeus said as he left Dianna's mind.

Dianna smiled as she rocketed off to her home. Her weapons of war were waiting for her.

Broly's Mind.

I was looking around the ship and found a few places that had not been cleared away as of yet. The bridge, the armory, engineering, the life support area and finally the observatory. I had cleared away all the small nightmares that had plagued me all my life. The questions of whether or not a different decision would have changed the outcome for some battle or event. Each with a specific Navy or Marine in mind. Once the nightmare was defeated that person would appear in their room as if they had always been there.

The crew cabins and officers quarters had been opened up. Now the ship looked like it could be flown. The Hangar bay was where everyone congregated until I released the last few sections. Once I did that I would be able to go about facing the biggest threats within my mind that were not on the ship.

I looked over to the giant door holding back the Oozaru and my rage from my past life. That would have to be the last hurdle in clearing the ship. If I was successful I could hopefully be able to clear out the Covenant ships and the planets I had fought on in my past life. If I was able to do this Valkyry said I would be able to jump start my cultivation enough to give me an even bigger leg up than previous said.

My soul would be able to protect me from weak telepaths and manipulators just from its strength and density. If I was to clear my whole mind of nightmares I would be able to live in this world with little fear of mental manipulation. From that point on I could focus my mind body and soul on developing my cultivation.

From what I understood what I was doing was clearing away heart devils from my cultivation path. Something that would make my breakthroughs and advancement that much smoother. Something I desperately needed if I was to face off against the biggest bads in the future and prevent the devastation of the Earth.

I was now heading to engineering to clear up the nightmare. Once I entered I saw a scene that had wracked me with guilt to this day. It was one of my earliest missions. My team and I had been on a covert mission into the rebellion and the terrorists highest bosses. It had been going so well until I flubbed the calculations, by forgetting to add in the passing of time and expansion of the community, and ended turning the astroid community into a graveyard.

I was court martialed for the event even if it was not something I could have done anything about with proper and updated schematics. Given the looming war with the Covenant I was put on a special task force for the hardest to impossible missions. I had tried to force my team onto another as they had followed my orders but they had stubbornly followed me into my situation.

Given the whole rock was a part of the insurgency but that did not change the fact that this was the turning point of my past life where I went from stoic soldier into the near manic commando sent into the most desperate of situations. To atone for all the death I caused on this one mission.

We had been under fire and setting up explosives to take down the manufacturing capabilities of insurgency. It seemed out information was wrong on the thickness of the rock of the astroid. We blew the charges and the framework of the astroid started to fracture and break apart. In mere minutes the whole station was a floating coffin in space.

My team and I were safe in our suits but everyone else, save for those in properly built subsidized building made for space, died of exposure to vacuum. Men, women, the elderly and children. This is the mission where I felt my mind break for the first time.

Looking on at the mission I collected myself and came to terms with the guilt and my actions. I realized long ago that nothing will ever go quiet according to plan and you had to live with the after math. But I came to a singular decision. I would think of all possibilities and information before I initiated a plan for the future so that something like this would never happen again.

As my mind set on this ideal all the thousands of people's faces who had become ingrained into my mind went from horror filled to peaceful as they each slowly dissipated before my eyes one by one. After the final baby disappeared with tear filled eyes I looked upon the wide cluttered and fully stocked engineering section.

As I stood there the designated personnel started to flow past me into the machine filled area. After a few seconds the sounds of machines and engines starting up could be heard as well as the telltale sound of welding, grinding and the sounds of progress. With a grim smile I turned away to head to the next nightmare.

1 Day

Batman was making the last checks to get everything in place. A large spaceship floated beside the watchtower. Within a huge amount of food, mostly for Flash and a whole armory filled with all the different armors. Flash was appearing and disappearing putting the last remnant of the supplies. Martian Manhunter were lifting large containers with his telekinesis.

Aquaman stood to the side speaking with Wonder Woman. The two had many conversations over the past few days. They had been speaking about their kingdom and queendom and their familiar ties that were still present.

Shazam was getting a lesson about the watchtower from Hawkgirl and Stewart. He was able to get most things down without much trouble, though he did get sidetracked by quite a few of the things present. The two older members kept him on task though.

Everyone finished the prep work for their trip an all met at the council chamber. "We have everything we can have ready prepared. Now is the last night to make sure everything at home is settled. Get some good rest people. For tomorrow we go to war with an enemy the likes of which is only found in our worst nightmares."

"Not much of a motivational speaker is he?" Shazam said to Martian Manhunter who was seated right beside him. J'onn only raised a hairless eyebrow.

The group broke up and went to their homes and their own teams. While the members that were going prepared for a war, their teams and sidekicks were given orders and plans to follow should they face certain enemies. Everyone prepared for the uncertain times ahead in their own way.

Thanagarian space.

The Fleet was looking upon the world where three invasions had been repulsed and decimated by the parasites. The bombing of the city had helped a little but in the end they realized that the parasite had made it's way into the subterranean tunnels throughout the surroundings. They would have to quarantine and glass the planet island to be sure.

With that thought the Thangarians prepared to wipe out the landmass. Their specially made bomb was being loaded.

The Admiral was standing staring at the preparations, he had lost a huge number of combatants, more than in the last few decades put together and he was raging within his heart. It was only from his greatest crack team, which he had summarily lost, that he learned of the large mass deep within the earth. The leader it was believed. Shortly after he lost contact with them. He hadn't heard back yet. He believed them to be lost just the same as the others.

He wanted to go down there and tear apart the enemy with his bare hands but he knew he could not otherwise they would lose far more than this colony planet. A few of his telepathic personal had fell into coma's shortly after the first mission had failed. It seemed there was a powerful mind on the planet enough so that the mere touch sent his telepaths into comas. With this knowledge he now knew a powerful telepath was on the planet, likely the large mass in the center of all the parasites. Should any of his stronger and smarter solders fall into their hands they could lose far more than the elders believed on Thanagar.

The bomb was now in place and ready to be fired. Lifting his hand the Admiral was about sent out the order when he was intiurped by his communications officer, "Sir we have incoming! Its a fleet of ships and a contingent of the Green Lantern Corps."

Truing to the screen the Admiral saw the incoming ships and Green Lanterns. He paled at the sight. The fleet was five times his size and prepared for war. If he so much as moved he felt he and his fleet would be blown out of the sky.

"Belay the launch!" The admiral roared before he turned and spoke with the communications officer. "Are they hailing us?"

"Yes sir. They are asking for us to stand down and speak. They are here to eradicate the parasite, designated as the 'Flood'."

Breathing a sigh of relief just quiet enough so no one would hear the admiral turned and spoke up, "Tell them to come aboard. I wish to delegate with their leaders. Maybe we will not lose as much as I was expecting." The last he said under his breath.

"It is done sir. They will meet you at the airlock." The communications officer said.

"Good. Lets not let out allies wait for too long." The admiral said loudly so all could hear. He heard a sharp intake of breath at his words. It must be known that the Thanagarians did not have allies only neutral parties and their enemies. But it was followed by a massive sigh of relief from the whole of the fleet as they would not face this monstrosity alone.

"I just hope this is enough." The admiral thought as he walked to the airlock to meet his new allies.
