<p>AFTER TAKING A DEEP BREATH, I CLOSED MY EYES and made myself very clear to her. "Listen, Kate," my tone was firm and I sensed when she froze. "I respect you and regard you as a mother. But you cannot forget that even though I try taking your thoughts into consideration, I am the one who has the last word. My life is mine to make whatever I want, it's not you who decides things for me. Got it?" I opened my eyes and stared at her pink-ish eyes. "As a human being, my patience only last to a certain point. I really do not want to be rude to you, but you need to understand your place in our relationship, okay?" </p>

<p>She tried to hide behind a smile, but I saw very clearly when she clenched her teeth and the glow in her eyes got fierce. But that was shortly gone and she acted like a respectful and pure woman again. "Yes, Your Royal Highness," she blurted. </p>
