072 ※ Meddling Imperials [III]

Sir Leonard's point of view

USUALLY, I TAKE FIVE MINUTES TO RUN FROM the training grounds to the Captain's headquarters, but today it took me half an hour. I felt drained. My meeting with the Princess left me shocked to an extent I can't even bring myself to explain.

The earrings on my hand felt heavier than bricks as I headed in the direction of where my Captain was supposed to be.

Everybody who was training stopped to look at me, probably finding strange the fact that I wasn't running to the Captain's office, as usual. All of their curious gazes only made me feel worse. I'm their Vice-Captain, I should be cowering because of a thirteen-year-old girl.

But here I am. Still feel a shiver inside my bones. And my heart almost jumped from my mouth. Scared of a little girl.

How can she be the total opposite of what they told me she was? What's up with that girl? What exactly happened to her? What made her so fearless and powerful like that?
