I FELT PARALYZED AS I STARED DOWN at the rabbit that wasn't cute anymore. His ethereal voice made my skin crawl and I felt disgusted. But still couldn't move an inch. "T-t-t-this creature is a-a-a... a spirit? It was here all this time?"

{"I told you she would act like this! You saw in her memories, Varius, she doesn't like my kind!"} He spoke unbothered, making me jump. {"I won't bite you, human. There's no need to fear me!"}

A bitter laugh came from my throat. "Fear?" I mocked. "I'm disgusted. Disgusted to be in the same place as one of your kind!" I turned to Caihong and Stradivarius. "Why? Why didn't you tell me this sprite was here?"

The rabbit hissed at hearing me call him that. So it's true. Spirits hate being called sprites. How amusing. {"How dare a filthy human like yourself, call me that?"} I ignored it.

"Haven't you heard that I mated with the time spirit?" Stradivarius asked with a poker face.
