SILENTLY, I WENT TO MY FATHER AND THE DUCHESS and announced that I was going back. After another kind greeting, they left me off the hook and I headed outside, to where our carriage was.

"Already leaving, Natasha?" This time it was Leonard and Princess Adelyn.

"Oh, yeah..." I met her ocean-blue eyes. "And here I thought only your youngest siblings and Queen Zara had come," I pointed.

"Well, I wasn't feeling well inside so I stayed here most of the night," makes sense.

But when Adelyn stared at my cheek and saw the bruise Malia left, she seemed angry. "Who did this to you?" She asked, worried.
