After teleporting to the north and going to our place of meeting, where I had first arrived, I passed through the portal my uncle had secretly opened in this ice wasteland, the one that links the Caspien to the Meredithian Empire but can only be used by me, exactly as my uncle intended, after he dealt with Alexander Nicholai. That way we would leave no tails that could be used to track us. As my feet crossed from winter to the spring grounds, I felt my appearance going back to normal, finally feeling like myself again.
