Natasha's point of view

Even when my tears ceased, Chaos kept hugging me tenderly until the sobs, soft hiccups, and heavy breathing came to a stop. But maybe it was because I've been touch-starved in a kind and familiar way, but I kept hugging him, clinging onto him like I would my father if I had a closer bond with him enough to trust him with all that goes in my mind. My body still shaking softly.

I held him, scared that I would shatter again if I let it go, and I was grateful when he allowed me to, when he began petting my hair softly.

"You are not alone," for the first time, he spoke like a human, his voice even deeper than it is as in his cat form, with an ancient accent to it, and I could feel power emanating from every pore of his body. "I'm here, I'll always be here, Natasha. You can trust me, you can lean on me, I'll always do everything go help you, to soften even if just a little bit the pain that you feel."
