Two guards sat in front as they screened for the bone age of the youths with a black orb in their hands.

Most Sects only accepted those of the younger generation as disciples as it was easier for younger ones to develop sense of familiarity and loyalty to the Sect and also those of the younger generation were relatively early in their cultivation, it was easier for them to adapt and build their foundations according to the Cultivation methods of the Sect.

Unless on certain exceptions, hardly were those above 18 years of age accepted as disciples.

The kids were led to wide open ground where they were to stay before the next day , when the test was to take place.

Looking around, after seeing Xia Yunzi Zhan Wei went and sat down cross-legged beside her.

There was no shelter where the kids sat and they had to wait till the next day, the Mystic Heaven Sect probably wanted the kids to stay under the scorching sun and also withstand the cold night.

Although everyone felt uncomfortable, especially the pampered youths, no one complained, withstanding a bit of difficulty just for the chance to enter the Mystic Heaven Sect was worth it to these youths.

Some youths formed large groups as they discussed the test while the rest cultivated in silence.

Grabbing a mattress, two pillows and a blanket from his storage ring he arranged it on the side they were staying.

From behind a large screen, the Bright Jade City lord looked at the two people on the mattress as his face twitched.

The youths around were also astonished, most of these youths were used to luxury but they knew the Mystic Heaven Sect's reason for putting them here was to humble them, for them to know that no matter their backgrounds it meant nothing to the Mystic Heaven Sect and there were all equal.
