Chapter 9

We were about to walk out the room when we suddenly heard footsteps. Isabella decided to hide next to the classroom door while I hid behind the desk. The footsteps were getting louder, I realized that it wasn't just one person's footsteps, but rather, three. Isabella raised her hand that was holding the knife with the blade facing behind her every time the footsteps grew louder. All of a sudden, everything went quiet and all I could hear was the silent whispers from voices that seemed very familiar.

I stood up and Isabella signaled me to sit back down, I refused. I walked toward the door and began to open it. It turned out to be Madison and Alison, and some other girl that I did not know. I went back into the classroom to inform Isabella of who the footsteps came from and to put the knife away. It wasn't safe to tell them about what had happened until we were in a secure area.

They were beginning to ask questions, but I didn't want to answer them right away, there was no time for a QnA when there is a mystery that was yet to be solved. We agreed to go to the bathroom and continue with asking what they wanted to know after we told them what had been going on. We all rushed to the girl's bathroom and went to the very back near the very last stall. Once we reached the last stall, I began to tell them what had going on until Isabella grabbed my hand and told them that she needed to talk to me for a second. She rushed me to the sinks next to the first stall and told me that the girl that tagged along with my friends was not to be trusted, that she was also in on the deal.
