Chapter 28

In fact, it WASN'T a spider, it was some sort of remote controlled toy with a tracking device and camera attached to it. Of course, we didn't realize it until my mom said something about it, she immediately lifted the cup, stomped on it, and told us to get to the car. At first, I thought she was over-reacting, but when she said to get some of my personal belongings that I couldn't live without including some pillows and blankets, I knew something was wrong. It had to do with Mr. Cleaver. I just wished he would just, oh I don't know, leave us the FUCK ALONE!! Who would've known what would happen if he had gotten to us, we certainly didn't. After all that we...that I... went through, I was sure it wouldn't end well for us... for any of us.

We all got into the car with our stuff and drove off. My mom didn't have a specific place to go to either, we just drove off to somewhere far away. Somewhere we hoped he wouldn't find us. We stopped at a gas station along the way to buy some snacks, drinks, and a lottery ticket because why not. My mom bought most of it, the cashier let us have a donut for free which was kind and generous of them. That was probably the best part of that whole morning.

That and I was craving for donuts anyway, we all were to be honest. We got back in the car and drove back off. We ate our donuts almost immediately after we started driving off, we couldn't help ourselves, they were SOOOO GOOD!!

Most of us were on our phones most the ride, I was watching movies with Isabella, Ruby and Olivia were reading fan-fiction, but Selina wasn't on her phone much, at all actually, she just colored/sketched in a spiral notebook I decided to bring, never know when it would come in handy. I don't remember what she was coloring or sketching though, but I'm pretty sure it was very beautifully made. She was very artistic and a really amazing art designer, it was only a hobby of hers, but I always told her that her work was so great it should be shown next to the Mona Lisa!! Slight exaggeration I know, but it made her confidence and passion towards her art burst! Seeing people do what they love is amazing, giving them your love and support is truly amazing.
