 The world is filled with mages and non-mages. Both weak and strong. In a world, where all the weak mages are despised and bullied, Aster a high school student, known for his weak magic skills, is granted with power that could startle all. His power didn't come from nowhere, but it had deep roots. 
 One New Year, Earth was attacked by mages from another dimension. They inturn came looking for Aster. Aster and his friends resolved to find answers to everything including Aster's power. As more people comes up to help and guide Aster, he unlocks the secrets behind the mysteries. 
 And finally he has to face the danger that was fated to the world. How will he overcome it? Will he succeed? Can he defeat the almighty Master who wants the destruction of the world?

 Aster was relieved to know that it was a dream. But wait! It felt so real. As if it really did happen. As if he had gone to some unknown place and fought with the mages there. Aster felt like laughing at that thought. He was so pathetic in dwelling.

 Tania lay on the floor, still pale. She won't do that. She didn't want to. She didn't want them to attack earth. But she has no choice now. 
 'Aster, you have to face them. I'm helpless.' She thought.

 "Aster, those mages will strike again. You die or live is not their matter. What they want is something else. You are just their tool to reach their aim.They want to use your powers. That's it. Tania cannot hold them off for long. She's strong. But, her emotions will decieve her. She will have to open that door again. But, the next time they strike, they will probably announce their aim."

Imperial Mages

Amelia was sitting in the shade of a tree as she watched Schwann teaching Aster how to cultivate. Tania also helped Schwann. Being dimensional guardians, it was easy for them to recollect the tips given by their ancestors. They now, pased on those tips to Aster. Aster could cultivate easily as he possessed a higher affinity to the elements around him. The first thing they told him was to find a peaceful environment to meditate.


Meditation was the first step for cultivation. For meditation, a calm mind is extremely necessary. Possessing the imperial stone can enhance his speed of cultivation, but cannot give him a calm mind. For Aster who was an energetic freak, it was the most difficult step. When he heard Schwann's and Tania's explanations, his head was in a whirl.


He saw Eren and Sienna squat on the floor near Amelia. He looked at them pitifully thinking he would get some help. But they just showed a cold-shoulder to him. The first thing he did not understand was, why he was training and cultivating. After patiently listening to their lecture, he asked Schwann about that straight at his face.


Tania and Schwann were, for a moment, bewildered. They couldn't understand why he was asking such a question at that time. When Aster raised such a question almost everybody including Hogman who was standing near Aster wondered about the same thing. Nobody knew. They came into the forest escaping a trial in the court, Sienna and Eren just followed them into the forest, now Tania, from another planet, another dimension, was with them, trying to help them. They didn't have any knowledge of why they were doing this.


Cultivating and growing stronger was understandable. Protecting the imperial mage was understandable too. But why? That question was lingering in Aster's mind for a long time.


Tania and Schwann blanked out for a moment. Tania couldn't hold back her surprise. She blurted out.


Schwann sighed and shook his head. He had chose not to tell because, if he had told this, they might have not consented for all this. Who would be ready to sacrifice their life for something they are so unsure of? Even Schwann couldn't believe all those when his grandfather told him about the ancient tale. He only believed when he got the 'impulse' that a very powerful being had come alive. A powerful and evil being. That's when he started searching for the imperial mage. Otherwise he would have left this as a telltale, worth nothing.


Tania was angered by Schwann's actions. Her ears were almost red from anger. She couldn't just digest the fact that Schwann had not told everything to Aster before they started living in the forest.


Schwann pursed his lips as if he had done something bad and did not reply. He was questioned by a teenager almost ten years younger than himself and still he didn't know how to reply. He was guilty in this case. That made him even more ashamed of himself. 


Amelia, Sienna and Eren stood up from the shade of the tree and listened to the conversation intently. Amelia felt bad hearing that Schwann hid things from her. And thise things which he hid, practically, may not be any 'happy news'. Since he hid it from them, it will be something dangerous. Schwann looked at Amelia apologetically. 


The air was becoming more and more awkward. Tania broke the tensed up atmosphere.


"If he didn't, I will tell you. You, Aster, was meant to be born even before you were born."


Aster raised his eyebrows slightly. He then shot a questioning glance at her.


"This happened years back, when the two dimensions were together. United into one single dimension. There were no separate Earth and Depcod. Until...the major war that shook the universe."
