The Tour In Paris

Ria bid goodbye for work, and here I am prepping myself for my tour in Paris. I have been here before but those days are official business, but this time I will be going on a field trip on my own. Ria doesn't want me to go strolling in the city alone, so she booked me on a sightseeing tour.

The tour will start at 8 o'clock, and now it's already 7 in the morning. I wore a Balmain logo cropped cotton t-shirt, with a Ganni black leather jacket, paired with Citizens of Humanity Noelle high-rise straight blue jeans, and Jimmy Choo Blanka 85 black ankle boots. I took my white Chloé Marcie mini leather shoulder bag and my Chloé oversize sunglasses from my desk.

I look at myself in the mirror and I felt like I'm too overdress for this tour, but I don't have a choice though, all the things in my closet are designer ones, and Ria was the one who put clothes in them. Being a designer herself, she wants me to be fashionable and from all those clothes this is the only casual and low keys in there.

I sighed before looking back at the mirror. There is this feeling inside me that tells me this is not what I usually wear. Even though all my life I've been wearing designer and branded clothes since I was a child. Confused, I decided to bury it at the back of my head and left the penthouse to go to the designated meeting area for the tour.

Ria decided to take the Paris Sightseeing Tour, where we will be cruising the seine river, as we pass some tourist attractions we will hop-off the boat and hop-on again for the next one. After we are done cruising the seine river, we have lunch at Eiffel Tower. Once we are done with lunch, instead of going back to the boat, we are transferred to a bus. Our next stop is at the Louvre Museum for an hour. I have enjoyed the tour of the museum. Lots of exhibits are being shown, but what I loved most is the history of how the museum came to be. Maybe the reason why I loved the Louvre architectural designs is that I grow up in a place like this.

Then we came to our last stop the Notre-Dame Cathedral. As I step out of the bus I can see that the sky is getting dark, not because it is already almost evening but because of the dark grey clouds looming in the sky. It's like any moment now the sky is about to cry.

"Attention Everyone, this is our last stop for the tour. I hope you have enjoyed the things we have prepared for you all." the tour guide said and everyone claps their hands.

As everyone was ushered inside, I pause for a while and look at the entire cathedral. It was a breathtaking sight to behold. I love how the glass pane reflected the light outside to illuminate the whole cathedral inside. I once again looked at the whole place before I step inside the cathedral.

When I stepped inside, the rain starts to pour outside. I look at the rain before I started walking inside. Since the dark clouds are covering the light, the cathedral looks kinda gloomy to me, but it still holds its own beauty. joining the bunch of the tourists we have gone to different sectors of the cathedral that the tour has guided us while explaining some noteworthy description of the places we have passed. After the tour, they let us tour the places we want to go inside the cathedral.

I decided to walk to the altar, where I can see the beautiful glass pane. While walking in the middle of the aisle, my mind starts to hazy, and some scenes flash inside my head. I pause walking and let the scenes pass by my mind. Without any words, tears started to fall one by one. I clutched my chest as I felt a heavy feeling inside me. Even with the tears falling, I started to walk again, moving towards the altar.

When I reached the altar, that's when the glass pane reflected the light of the afternoon sunset. The light illuminated the cathedral and as I look back to the aisle I have walked by, another scene flashes to me and tears start to fall again, but this time my chest felt like it was pricked by thousands of needles.

In it was a woman wearing a wedding dress, walking by the aisle. She looked so happy, the happiest face I have seen her. As she draws closer to the altar, I saw a man approach and took her hand, she took his hand and gave the sweetest smile. As they start to walk to the altar, my head starts to ache as I wasn't able to see who the man is. Due to the pain from my head and my chest, my mind blackout, and I can only hear the voices of the group of tourists and some nuns who are calling my name.

I was busy with my designs when my phone ring. I looked at it, and put it back down, and resume designing. It kept ringing, so I put it in a silent mode. As I resume drawing, my phone line ring. This is connected to my secretary, Monique. I pick it up and I heard my secretary on the other side of the line. "Ms. Ria, Mr. De Luca is on the other line. Would you like me to connect him in?" she said. I was taken aback by the sudden mention of the name. 'Alejandro Rafael De Luca, why do you keep on calling' I said in my mind.

"Ms. Ria?" Monique inquired. "Yes, I'm still here Monique. Just tell him I'm not around." I said to her. "Noted Ms." Monique replied. I put the phone down, and instead of going back to my designs. I turned my chair, and face my window overlooking the Eiffel Tower.

It's already afternoon but the sky is darker than usual, maybe it's because of those big dark clouds looming in the sky. I stared at it for a while when my mind traveled back to the time I heard about what happened to Adriana.
