Zero thought about what to use how stat points on. He could simply throw everything into his strength stat but with his damage already at 30 he felt it was unnecessary.
Looking back through his battles only a few things stood out, his lack of skills and his ability to maneuver quickly against the boars. His base agility was fine but he felt it would become a sore point quickly since he was playing solo at the moment. If he ended up facing multiple enemies again he wouldn't be able to dodge most attacks and as a result, end up dying.
Since that wasn't his goal Zero used all of his stat points to increase his agility rating. After closing his status window he checked his inventory to confirm all 12 boar skins were there before beginning his return to the village.
During his trip back to the village he made sure to check the time. Only an hour had passed since the server launched which meant he had plenty of time to increase his level to 5 and stay with the top players as they began to stand out.
Reaching the outskirts of the forest in a few minutes Zero once again walked through the scene of hundreds of boars getting hunted down by thousands of players. Ignoring the constant shouting of people near him while declining party invitations he made it into the village.
Walking back towards the village chief's location Zero saw it was a lot less crowded than before. Primarily due to most players having accepted the quest already it was a lot easier to get inside and see where he was going.
Unlike last time Zero decided to not skip what the village chief was saying as he turned in his quest.
"Congratulations brat, you can be considered a beginner adventurer, but that doesn't mean that you are invincible."
Sizing up the extremely built man standing before a wooden table, Zero continued to listen to what he had to say. The man's powerful voice made Zero's bones vibrate softly but other than that, his vibe was someone that seemed trustworthy.
"Listen up! Killing a few boars means little to me. To survive in this world you need to grow stronger so before you can leave this place you need to show me you have what it takes to adapt to this chaotic place."

[Side Quest Started: Speak with the Village Hunter]

....
Zero looked at his mini map and noticed that other than the golden question mark that would signify main quests there was a light blue question mark that signified side quests.
Considering he has to now reach level 10 and was on his own he might as well go and visit the hunter. As he made his way out of the building he saw that there was someone at level 3 walking the streets already.
Not sure how this player was level 3, Zero walked off towards the blue marker on his mini map. It was just down the road so it didn't take more than a minute to reach. There he saw a couple of swordsman and rogues walking in and out of the wooden hut.
As he walked inside the hut he heard looked around noticing pelts of a few animals lining the walls. Along with a sword leaning against the wall and bow beside it he looked around towards the crowd of players.
There, like with the village chief, the hunter could be seen sitting in a chair while leaning it against the wall with his eyes closed. Walking over to the group of players Zero initiated the conversation with a simple hello.
Opening his eyes slightly the hunter glanced at Zero before closing them again.
"So you were sent by Ryan huh... you might be a little stronger than some children but you are still weak to me. Go and grab the sword skill from the table across the room and get going. I don't have time to explain to you how to use it, you need to figure it out on your own."
Following the updated quest to pick up the skill from the table Zero walked over and grabbed the glowing white book on the table. After holding it for a second he remembered he had to prompt the game to learn it.
"Learn the skill" he said, moments later the book started to disintegrate into motes of white light and enter his hand.
[Skill System Unlocked]
[Player has learned the skill Cleave]
[Cleave]

"It's only a novice tier skill, I can't be too disappointed though, it's a skill nonetheless ." Zero remarked in his mind as his side quest became completed when he learned Cleave. Skill tiers are tied together with equipment tiers. Both go from Novice to Divine grade, more specifically the tiers were listed on the Fallen Throne Forum as
Divine Grade - Rainbow
Forbidden Grade - Black
Mythic Grade - Red
Legendary Grade - Gold
Epic Grade- Purple
Rare Grade - Blue
Common Grade - Green
Novice Grade - White
....
Walking out of the building he looked around at the level of players and saw most were still level 2, the same as him.
Seeing he was still moving too slowly for his own liking he quickly opened up his notification menu.
[Side Quest Complete: Speak with the Village Hunter]
Closing the menu, Zero quickly ran towards the entrance of the village. As he exited the village gate he went straight into the forest again, running deeper than he had previously gone. After a minute of constant running he slowed down to equip his bronze sword. It did 15 more damage than the starter sword he had so he was better off using it.
With his new skill he could finally kill monsters faster. Though he still had to be smart about how he fought. He was done with the beginner quest so now he was essentially on his own to explore this new world and learn it's secrets.
Smiling at the thought of learning some lord of the world, Zero walked around looking for any animals that were past level 2. If he wants to reach the city first then he needs to fight monsters above his level. Though it would be tougher without a party, he decided to worry about that later. As he walked into the clearing in front of him he finally found a target.
