"Alright, I will now inform you about what's going on with the test and how you will be graded based off," Sung Yeon said.
"First off, this test isn't like the usual test. The grading of this test will partially depends on you," she stated.
"Your first test will take place on the street of Seoul," she added, "you'll be busking or what I'd like to called 'free concert for the people on the street.' Just like the nickname I've given it. To put it simply, busking is where you play music or perform in an public area and anyone there can watch the performance. Usually you'd earn money. But in this test, you'll earn points by attracting people to your performance," Sung Yeon said.
"Wow, so it's about getting attention," said a trainee.
"Yes, indeed. You will have to attract a big crowd to your performance I order to earn the points. But that's not the only thing. You'll need to get them to vote for you. In this car, you'll be split into groups consisting of two pairs. That group will be performing at the same place. They'll be two boxes with the group name on it. The crowds will be given a token or ticket and your job is to make sure that those tokens and tickets goes to your group's bucket and not your opponent," Sung Yeon continued.
"So if you fail to attract a big crowd but the other team did, you can still have a chance to win by giving out a better performance than the other team and get the crowds to vote for you instead," Said another trainee.
"Yes, that's the game. The main point of this is to see how much attention you can attract and convince people to choose you over others. That is important as that's exactly how you gain attention and become more well known as an idol," said Sung Yeon.
The car came to a stop in front of a park entrance.
"We're here. Alright, I'll assign each of you to your designated area. Group 1, Lee Min Ji and Yoo Kang Hyun, and Group 5, Wang Shao Yue and Kwon Jin Hyuk," Sung Yeon said reading from the list in her paper, "Group 1 and 5 will be performing at station one. Your area is outlined in the red on this paper. You may go out of the area to get people to your performing station. You're the first groups to perform, at 4PM."
Sung Yeon quickly walked down the aisle of the car to give Min Ji and Kang Hyun their paper.
"The next group is Group 2, Lucy Park and Nam Min Jun, and Group 4, Kim Soo Ah and Hong Nian Yu. You're performing at station six, your area is outlined in blue on this paper. You're the second to last group to perform. You guys are performing at 5PM," Sung Yeon said handing Min Jun, Soo Ah, Lucy, and Jian Yu the paper.
"Lastly, Group 3, Moon Kyung Mi and Moon Gyu Han, Group 6, Choi Seol Mi and Choi Chan Woo, and Group 7, Lee Si Yeon and Cha Bin Woo. Your group consist of 3 pairs so the competition is bigger. You'll be perform second, at 4:20 PM, at station eighteen. Your area is outlined in white. Because there are three pairs competing, your area is bigger," Sung Yeon said and handed Kyung Mi and Gyu Han the paper.
"Alright, with that said. The time is now 3 PM you will have from 1 to 2 hours to get people to come your performance. Good Luck and get hustling!" Sung Yeon cheered and stepped away allowing the trainees to get out of the car into the park.
"According to the map, to get to station 6, we'll need to go straight until the third intersection and then turn left and right again. After that, turn right and we'll be at station 6," Soo Ah said as she analyzes the map.
"Okay, it's a quite long way. We have two hours to get people to go to station 6 at 5 PM. While moving there, we can get people to go there," Jian Yu said.
"In addition to that, since we are performing last. We could definitely wait for the other groups to finish performing and get them to go to our stage. They never mentioned that it's cheating," Soo Ah said.
They broken into laughter.
"Let's go," Jian Yu said.
They began to walk to their stage. On their way they came up to people and invited them to their stage. Many just ignored the invitation while some promised to come. After a while, they reach station 6.
"Not bad, I think there's enough space for us. I guess they're setting the stage up right now," Jian Yu said to Soo Ah.
"Yup. Should we get something to drink? All that talking made me thirsty," Soo Ah asked.
"Okay," Jian Yu agreed, "let's go."
