"We might actually win!" Kyung Mi said excitedly.

"Our leader is the best!" Kang Hyun gave Soo Ah a big thumb up.

Soo Ah couldn't help but chuckle at the silly gesture he was making.

"Let's go eat lunch and wait for the result," Min Jun said.

The four of them headed to the cafeteria to get their lunch and decided to sit together.

"Hello!" Min Jun said as he sat down at Soo Ah's table. "

"Hello," Soo Ah smiled.

"Hey," Kyung Mi and Kang Hyun said as they take a seat at the table together.

"I have a question for you guys," Soo Ah said to them.

"Yea?" they replied.

"Why did you choose to become a trainee?" She asked.

"I had a dream," Kang Hyun said.

"Don't we all?" Kyung Mi asked.

"No," Kang Hyun explained, "Like the type you get when you're sleeping."

"Oh."

"I had a dream that I will become an idol when I grow up. The next week, I got scouted by the company, I figured it was fate," Kang Hyun said.

"Wow, that's a first," Soo Ah said.

"For me, I just did it because I passed the audition. I auditioned because my friend asked me to do it with her because she was nervous. As I continue to train for the past years, I realize it's really something I wanted to do," Kyung Mi said.

"Wow, did your friend debut yet?" Kang Hyun asks out of curiosity.

"She didn't pass the audition, unfortunately," Kyung Mi said.

"Oh, did she try again ever since?" Soo Ah asked.

"She got into a different company two years ago. She almost debuted but the company went bankrupt and now she's no longer a trainee."

"What about you, Soo Ah?" Kyung Mi asked.

"I've always wanted to become an idol. It was my dream. I took many lessons hoping that I would be able to get into a good company with my skills. It came true when the company scouted me," Soo Ah said.

"Wow, that's nice," Kyung Mi said.

"What about you my friend?" Kang Hyun said and wrap his arm around Min Jun's shoulder, "you've been quiet."

"Oh," Min Jun responds as he tries to gently remove Kang Hyun's arm from his shoulder, "I was scouted about a year ago. I used to be a really big nerd. All I did was study and study. My parents told me I should try it out for a month. I listened to them and here I am."

"So it was your parents who's behind this," Kyung Mi said.

"Well, if you put it that way. They just gave me the push I needed," Min Jun said.

"Hey, let's eat. We have a few minutes until 12 o'clock," Soo Ah suggested.

After lunch, they quickly headed back to the room. Many other trainees have already arrived as well. At 12 o'clock sharp, the staff and judges as well as Chang Ho and Sung Yeon arrived.

"The result of this test is out. We will now announce the result," Sung Yeon said.

"The group that placed second today was," Chang Hp announced, "Group 3 who covered Thanks by 8IGHTEEN. This group consisted of Gyu Han, Chan Woo, Si Yeon, and Lucy. Congratulation, you guys are safe from elimination and will go on to the third test for the final spots."

This was very much expected by everyone. Considering the performances, it was clear what place they will each receive. Group 3 was happy they did not get eliminated but there's no doubt they were disappointed they did not do better.

"In first place for this test is," Sung Yeon said, "Group 1 also known as U-Yu who covered Love Game by Dandelion. This group consisted of Soo Ah, Min Jun, Kyung Mi, and Kang Hyun. Congratulation!"

"And this means that, Group 2 who covered Go Together by 5UMMIT. This means you guys placed third and are eliminated. Don't worry, you guys will have one last chance after the third test," Chang Ho said.

Although the result was expected, Kang Hyun, Kyung Mi, Min Jun, and Soo Ah are still very happy that they placed first. That meant that their efforts paid off. On the other hand, Group 2 was very sad. They knew they could've done better if they made a better choice. Their leader, Min Ji, felt very guilty for putting her group in such a position.

"And that concludes the second test. You guys may take the rest of the day off. To our winners, we will meet again at the meeting room tomorrow morning at 10 in the morning sharp to talk bout the third test," Chang Ho said.

"Have a good rest everyone!" Sung Yeon said.

The judges and staff took turns leaving the practice room until it was just the trainees left.

"Sung Yeon!" Soo Ah yelled out as she tries to catch up with Sung Yeon.
