Gathering

"Come on, it's already 6:30, if you don't hurry up and finish getting ready, we'll be late," Min Jun nagged.

"Okay, wait a moment, I'm almost done," Soo Ah replied while scrambling through her things to get ready.

After 2 minutes, Soo Ah appeared outside of her room all dressed up.

"Okay," Soo Ah said while taking in a deep breath, "let's go."

"You look like you just ran a whole marathon," Min Jun commented.

"You kept on rushing me!"

"Because we'll be late. Let's go," Min Jun said and gave Soo Ah a pat on her head. Then, he grabbed his car key and wait for Soo Ah at the front door.

Soo Ah quickly followed him out after putting on her shoes and the two of them headed to the restaurant.

"Oh, Kyung Mi is already there. She made a reservation under the name 'U-Yu', our group name," Soo Ah said and let out a small chuckle.

"Wow, it's our group name. Isn't it kinda embarrassing knowing the reason behind it," Min Jun said.

"I just think it's silly," Soo Ah replied, "but I like it. It was a great time being with you guys. It reminds me that we were able to relax around each other. That's why the name was so silly."

"You're not wrong."

"Ding!" Ringed her phone. It was a message from Kang Hyun to their group chat.

"Oh Kang Hyun just told us that he's stuck in traffic," Soo Ah told Min Jun after checking the text message.

"That's fine, we can wait."

"Oh, we're near?" Soo Ah asked.

"Yea, it's right around the corner," Min Jun replied.

"And we're here," Min Jun said as he pulls the break, "you go in first, Kyung Mi is waiting. I'll park the car and come in afterward."

"Okay, I'll go then," Soo Ah said as she grabs her purse and opens the car door. She left the car and went inside the restaurant.

"I have a reservation under the name U-Yu," Soo Ah told the waiter.

"Wait a moment please," the waiter said as he checks his list of reservations.

"Follow me, right this way," he said and led her to the table where Kyung Mi was waiting.

"Soo Ah!" Kyung Mi greeted excitedly and stood up for a hug, "Long time no see!"

"Long time no see, Kyung Mi," Soo Ah said as she returns the hug.

"Here, take a seat," Kyung Mi said after breaking the hug, "Next to me or Min Jun?"

Soo Ah gave her a puzzled look.

"You and Min Jun are really close," Kyung Mi explains, "are there something going between you two?"

"Yah, we live in the same apartment so we're naturally-" Soo Ah said stopping midway as she realizes what she just said.

"OH MY GOD!" Kyung Mi said to Soo Ah.

"Hey, shhh. They'll hear us!" Soo Ah told her.

"That's scandalous my leader!"

"We're just friends. There's nothing going on between us!" Soo Ah explains.

"The way you look at each other tells me otherwise."

"You're just overthinking it."

"I bet you guys drove here together."

"How'd you know?"

"Magic," Kyung Mi replied as her hand motion move randomly like the sparks of magic power.

"Hey, let's keep this between us," Soo Ah told Kyung Mi.

"My mouth is zipped," Kyung Mi replied and doing the zipping motion on her mouth.

Then, Min Jun arrived.

"Hey!" He greeted, "did I miss something important?"

"No, not at all," Soo Ah quickly responded, "have a seat," Soo Ah told Min Jun.

Since Kyung Mi and Soo Ah were sitting scores from each other, Min Jun decided to sit next to Soo Ah as he was much closer to her than to Kyung Mi.

"Should we-" Kyung Mi was cut off by the ring of a new message.

"Hey guys, I'm five minutes away, sorry for making you wait," Kang Hyun texted.

"Kyung Mi what did you want to tell us?" Soo Ah replied after reading the message.

"Never mind, Kang Hyun is almost here," Kyung Mi said.

"Come to think of it, is Kang Hyun texting and driving at the same time?" Min Jun mentioned.

"I hope not," Kyung Mi commented.

"He probably got a taxi," Soo Ah said.

After a few minutes, the waiter leads Kang Hyun to their table.

"Good evening guys!" Kang Hyun greeted them.

"Took you long enough!" Soo Ah exclaimed.

"Blame it on the traffic!" Kang Hyun said and took a seat next to Kyung Mi.

"What would you like to drink today?" Asked the waiter.

"I'll have water," Kang Hyun said.

"Lemonade for me," Kyung Mi said.

"I'll take a lemonade as well," Soo Ah replied.

"Sweet tea, please," Min Jun ordered.

"I'll be right back with your drink," the waiter said before leaving their table.

After a while, the waiter returned with their drinks.

"And what would you guys like to have today?" Asked the waiter.

"I'll have a Fillet Mingon with a salad on the side," Soo Ah said.

"I'll have the Lobster Runaway with salad," Kyung Mi said.

"I'll have the Prime Rib," Kang Hyun said.

"Any sides?" The waiter asked.

"I'll take the Seafood Chowder," he replied.

"And for you?"

"I'll have Spaghetti with the sides of french fries and salad," Min Jun said.

"I'll be back with your food in a few moments," the waiter said before leaving.
