Final lineup

"Hello!" Min Jun greeted as he enters the meeting room.

Everyone who participated in the competition was invited to the meeting. Even the three who made it to the final line-up already.

Min Jun took a seat next to Kang Hyun.

"Did Soo Ah come with you?" Kang Hyun asked.

"No?" Min Jun replied, "We both go to a different school."

"Soo Ah was called out by Sung Yeon a while ago," said Jian Yu.

"Oh, I see, "both Kang Hyun and Min Jun replied.

"Hopefully it's not a bad thing," Jian Yu said.

"Yea," they agreed.

After a few moments, Soo Ah returned to the room with Sung Yeon. Chang Ho followed after them. They waited for Soo Ah to take a seat before beginning to talk.

"Is everyone here?" Chang Ho asked.

"Shao Yue cannot come because she has to take an exam," said Seol Hee.

"Alright, then. Other than Shao Yue is there anyone who's not present?" Chang ago asked.

Everyone shook their head as they look around.

"Alright. We will begin announcing the result then," Sung Yeon said.

"During the last test, we have determined 3 final members of the group," Sung Yeon begins, "they were Moon Gyu Han, Nam Min Jun, and Yoo Kang Hyun."

"Now, during the redemption round, we were able to determine the last 6 members," Chang Ho said.

"Those who do not make it to the final lineup will have to return to training and wait for another chance," Chang Ho added.

"Your videos were submitted to each and every one of the judges for grading. They will rate your overall performance on a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the best and 1 being the worst. We have summed up the points and rank them as fit," Sung Yeon explained, "the highest score you could receive in this test is an 80. If more than one trainee is put in 6th place, they will have to compete against each other for the final spot. The result will be determined by the rest of the trainees."

"We will announce the result now, starting from third place," Sung Yeon said.

"With a score of 57 out of 80, both Bin Woo and Jian Yu tied for 3rd place. Congratulations!" Chang Ho said."

Everyone gave them a round of applause.

"With a score of 44 out of 80, Shao Yue ranked 5th and therefore makes it to the final lineup," Sung Yeon announced, "congratulations!"

Again, everyone gave them a round of applause.

"In 6th place, we have a 3-way tie between Lucy, Seol Hee, and Chan Woo. They earned a total of 21 points out of 80 points," Chang Ho said, "That means, we will now proceed to the competition for a spot in the lineup."

"The rule of the competition is simple. The three of you will take turns showcasing your talent to the rest of the trainees. You will each have 1 minute to showcase your talent. Let it be singing, rapping, dancing, or even just quirky personal talent, you will have complete freedom to showcase one of your talents to the rest of the trainees to convince them you belong to the group. After everyone has showcased their talent, we will cast a vote on who deserves the 6th place spot," Sung Yeon explained, "the order in which you will participate will be decided by the three of you amongst yourselves. You will have 2 minutes to decide; starting now."

The three of them played rock paper scissors to decide the order in which they will go in. After 2 minutes, the competition began. Since Lucy lost the game, she had to go first. She decided to do a freestyle dance. After she was Chan Woo. He decided to do a song cover. Then finally, it was Seol Hee's turn. She did a quick skit that made everyone broke into laughter. Then, it was time to decide though the result was quite obvious. In the end, as expected, Seol Hee ultimately won the 6th spot and therefore part of the final lineup.

"Congratulations, Seol Hee!" Sung Yeon applauded.

Now, the chance of making a debut is a 2 out of 5.

"With a score of 62 out of 80, Kyung Mi placed 2nd. Congratulations!" Chang Ho said.

Everyone applauds. Now, there are 4 trainees left, all hoping to have placed first. The odds were 1 in 4.

"With an almost perfect score of 78 out of 80, the first place goes to Soo Ah! Congratulations!" Sung Yeon announced.

Everyone was congratulating Soo Ah. Though many did wish they got first place, they knew they had no chance against Soo Ah.

On the contrary, Soo Ah's reaction to the announcement was odd. Unexpected of someone who just got the chance to debut. She didn't look all that happy. In fact, she showed a hint of sadness.

"Soo Ah?" Seol Hee and Kyung Mi said as they tap on her shoulder.

"Yes?" Replied Soo Ah.

"You just won! You will get to debut!" Seol Hee said.

"Really? I'm so happy!" Soo Ah said half-heartedly and put on a fake smile.

"Those who did not make it, you are dismissed. Those who did, please stay here, we have a few things to discuss with you," Sung Yeon said.

Once all the trainees who did not make the final lineup have left, Sung Yeon and Chang Ho began talking again.

"Congratulation to you all who have made it to the final lineup!" Chang Ho said and clapped his hands.

Everyone else followed. Once they stopped, he began again, "we have a special announcement to make."

"Kim Soo Ah has withdrawn from the competition therefore she will not be part of the final lineup," Sung Yeon said.
