Pranksters

After a whole hour and a half, they got home. Their parents had gotten home a bit earlier than them and were now cooking a storm in the kitchen.

"Miss Kim and Mister Nam, welcome back!" Greeted butler Cha.

"Come on and help them bring in the stuff," he commanded the housekeepers.

"Thank you so much!" Soo Ah said to them.

"You can bring the food to the kitchen. Bring the rest to my room," she continued.

"The Madams and Sirs are cooking in the main kitchen. We have tidied up the secondary kitchen, if you don't mind, you and Mr. Nam can use that kitchen instead," suggested the butler.

"That'll be fine," Soo Ah replied.

She and Min Jun headed to the back kitchen.

"I'll start on the cake, you start on marinating the chicken," Soo Ah said as she looked through the bags of ingredients.

"Alright," Min Jun replied.

Min Jun picked up the apron Soo Ah had bought a while ago and put it on himself.

"At least this is of use," he thought to himself.

"Here, let me help you put this on," Min Jun said to Soo Ah and held up her apron.

"Right!" Soo Ah exclaimed, "thank you!"

"No problem."

.

An hour later.

.

"Pass me the salt," Soo Ah told Min Jun.

"Here," he replied and passed her a bottle.

"That's sugar!" Soo Ah yelled after tasting the grains.

Hearing the commotion in the back kitchen, their parents got curious and rushed there for a look.

"No, it's salt!" Min Jun said.

"Taste it!" Soo Ah said and handed him a spoon full

Of salt.

"Blehhhh!" Min Jun said as he tries to spit out the salt.

"Haha, got you!" Soo Ah laughed after tricking Min Jun into eating salt.

"You!!!!!!! That's means!!!!!!" He yelled.

Soo Ah made a face at him before continuing to make the dressing for the salad.

Determined to get revenge, Min Jun quickly put the herbs he prepared into the pot of soup and walked toward the pantry. He then take out the honey jar and walked back. He pour in a little bit of hot soup and added honey to a clean soup spoon.

"Hey, how's the soup?" Soo Ah asked.

"Want a taste?" Min Jun offered.

"Sure," Soo Ah said as she stepped over to the stove.

"Here," he said offering the spoon with the mixture of honey and water.

Soo Ah quickly took a sip of it. "Let me have another taste. This time, just the honey," she commented after swallowing the mixture.

"YOU EAT HONEY IN THE RAW?!" Min Jun said practically yelling at her.

"Yes," Soo Ah replied with a straight face.

"Go away! I can't believe you're that type of person," Min Jun yelled.

"Let me have a taste of the soup!" Soo Ah exclaimed.

"Nope nope nope, get out of my kitchen!" Min Jun said as he pushed Soo Ah toward the door.

"But I want a taste!" Soo Ah whined.

Min Jun continued to push her out but she suddenly got quiet.

"Hey, mom!" Soo Ah said.

The adults busted out in laughter. They had been holding in their laughter. Now that they've been exposed, they can finally laugh.

"Min Jun, you shouldn't bully Soo Ah like that!" Teased Min Jun's dad in between his laugh.

"SHE STARTED IT!" Min Jun argued.

"You guys are such pranksters," said Mrs. Kim before turning back to the main kitchen.

The rest of the adults followed after her.

.

.

Dinner.

.

.

"Have a great meal!" Started Soo Ah.

"Have a great meal!" Answered the rest of the people at the table.

"Seol Mi, I heard there's a storm coming this way. Why don't you and your husband just stay here with us for the night?" Offered Soo Ah's mom.

Seol Mi, Min Jun's mom, and her husband exchanged looks before replying, "That would be great. Thank you, Su Yeong, and sorry for the troubles."

"It's no problem at all. We're family after all," Su Yeong replied.

"Soo Ah and Min Jun, you guys should stay over too. It's gonna be late by the time we finish dinner. You guys have to start training tomorrow anyways," added Su Yeong. "I'll send some people over tomorrow to fetch your stuff."

"It's better if you guys stay over for this month and a half first. Since you'll start interning at Ever+ before interning at L- for the second half," added Seol Mi.

"I don't think we have a choice," Min Jun commented and shrugged his shoulder dramatically.

Everyone laughed at his gestures.
