Prologue

One morning he will never forget, Alan Stiles wakes up with a terrible hangover and a premonition that he is going to go over with his parents. Meanwhile, the house is empty. Parents and younger sister have disappeared without a trace. The search ended in complete failure. The boy did not find the answer to the questions that haunt him:

Were my parents and sister murdered? If so, why was he spared his life? And if they are alive, why have they abandoned him in such a cruel way?

Thirteen years later.

Alan agrees to take part in Hopeline's documentary in the hope that someone will remember something about that case from years ago.

One day he gets a letter.

Its content makes no sense, yet Alan shudders ...
