Chapter Two

In the palace of the king of Woyoe, the entrance was embellished in an exquisite structure made by the artisan architectures of Woyoe. The height and the width of the entrance were gigantic and a Lion statue was erected at the extreme of the entrance with a crown on its head which symbolized the grandeur of the king of Woyoe. They were mostly likened to a Lion due to the presence which a Lion posed in the jungle. At the palace entrance, there were more than ten soldiers with swords held on their left hand and wore head armour. The entrance pillar had a hefty width that it could scare someone. The pillar was carved in form of a snake that cuddled a lengthy pole and was dyed gold. At the top where the statue of the lion was at the entrance of the palace, below it was the title given to the rulers of Woyoe. The title that the peoples of Woyoe did refer to their king as was "Hemo". The gate of the entrance was made by the blacksmith, it comprises of different irons which were painted brown. At the entrance left side was the statue of the incumbent king erected seated on a royal chair similar to the one in the palace. A large edifice was in the palace which was roofed and under it were concreted chairs which were made for palace guests, ministers, maids, etc. to sit if eventually, they had nothing doing. Concrete was also moulded not too high to demarcate the large dome. The concreted chairs weren't painted and tables were also there made in concrete. The king did sit there occasionally if he desired. The Queen did sit there to braid her hair with the maids. The palace fence was designed with different illustrations which were made with concrete on it, the concrete illustrations were the heroes who fought for Woyoe with their blood. Most of the heroes drew on the fence were mostly those who fought the "battle of Kirina" when the northern intruders who fought with an axe, hammers, etc. waged war against Woyoe. All odds were against Woyoe, many warriors' lives were sacrificed but Woyoe celebrated their retreat. Among the warriors who lost their lives at the battle of kirina were Juyi, Koye, Lemun and so many others. The fence was painted gold but the concrete drawing was painted black for it to reflect very well on it. Some of the concrete drawings were with arrows, sword, shield and some were dead. Some of the inhabitants of Woyoe did visit the palace occasionally to pay homage to those drawing on the wall. Some did come to worship them, because if not that the heroes fought with their lives for the kingdom they might have been subjugated and many lives would have been lost. During the period when the battle was fought, the king of Woyoe sustained an injury which later led to his death three months after the war. The death of the king of Woyoe left its inhabitant morose and grouchy. And the latter king was crowned who happened to be the father of the incumbent king, there had been no other battle like that of Kirina. By the right side of the palace, the entrance was also the image of different gods erected on a temple where the people did come to pray. At the back of the temple was painted white and its floor was designed with concrete architectures. Though the floor wasn't smooth because some little breaks were made like a design. People were usually allowed to enter the palace because of the sacrilegious activities which most of them did come perform. There were also maid buildings if one proceeded to the other side of the palace. In the palace were also different categories of maids who were allotted to their respective duties and responsibilities in the palace. Among the maids were the messengers, the dancers, the drummers, there was also the maids head whose name was Huni. The maids were mostly the belle of the kingdom. Once a lady is beautiful, she would be qualified to be a maid in the palace of Woyoe.

The king of Woyoe was in the royal guest room with the king of Buyeo. They were discussing trade. The king of Woyoe was seated on the left side of the table while the Buyeo king reclined opposite. The king of Woyoe was a lanky man with a giant hand and lengthy-short neck. Though he wasn't taller than his prime minister which the inhabitant of Woyoe did facetiously reiterated that he was the lankiest man in the kingdom. The king of Woyoe was in his typical wear. He infrequently wore his royal garment. He preferred spending his sparse period at the kingdom shore. He was light in complexion. He had a preference for gagging a lot, his guards enjoy being around him because he never ceases to make them happy at his sparse time. He so much addicted to alcohol that he could sit to liquor up his stomach all day despite several warnings and advice he had been offered by the nurse, yet he didn't restrain from taking it because of his addiction. The king of Buyeo on the other hand was a very short man. He was loquacious and garrulous. He was a rapid talker. Buyeo was one of the prominent kingdoms. Though most of the kingdom around them were also great in one or the other.

The first Queen strode to the king's apartment with her left hand holding the bottom of her gown and her boobs jiggling. He was in a red gown but wasn't a royal one. Her hair looked jagged. She was striding as if something dire had emerged. The aversion she had for the second queen had intensified already because she had given birth to a dwarf. The spy she kept on the second Queen eavesdropped it from the nurses when they were conversing immediately the second queen gave birth. Her face was loured and fumed. She had recently been admonished by the nurse against high blood pressure due to her latter eccentric act towards every palace denizen When she reached the king apartment entrance one of the guards informed her that the king was having a petty meeting with the king of Buyeo. She twisted her eyes facing the guard as if she had friction with him before. Forthwith she was told, she peeked around like someone who didn't know the royal guest room. She whirled her head left and right then headed towards the first royal guest room. She scowled her face in displeasing after she heard what the guard said because of the length of the staircase, she would have to waddle through the stair again, though she was a fast walker but was already feeling the pain of walking hither thither like a vagabond. He hiked through the stair again and when he reached the royal guest room she recouped her senses that she didn't have the right to enter the room without the king's permission and she couldn't walk to her room back after trudging to the royal guest room. She decided to wait outside for the king to come out. She loitered and began shaking her bum like someone who came to fight. She was under immense pressure as she couldn't take a dwarf in the palace for the fact that she was the second in command after the king in the kingdom of Woyoe.

When the king of Woyoe and the king of Buyeo were about to finalise their discussion, they sauntered to where the Buyeo guards and horses were. The Queen who was already exhausted standing at the entrance had already found a seat beside the entrance. She was aghast because she didn't realize they were coming out. When the king saw her, he was surprised as to what she had to say that she couldn't wait for her in the room. The king tried to conclude what they were discussing earlier than expected so he could attend to the Queen. The Queen didn't even bother to greet the king of Buyeo as she was seriously concerned with what had been perturbing her. The Buyeo king took his leave after he was accompanied by his counterpart to the palace entrance, he mounted his horse with the guard and took off. The king of Woyoe headed back to the palace towards where the Queen was sitting. When the Queen noticed that the king was striding towards her direction she stood up pronto to meet him. The king expected they should head into the room together to discuss whatever she had to say but she disclosed immediately she met the king.

"His majesty, Have you heard that the second Queen had given birth?", she asked with her loured face.

"Wow! Really? I can't know because I was having a short meeting with the king of Buyeo, a boy or a girl?"

"She gave birth to a dwarf"

At first, the king was surprised as to the intention she had to come and break the news to him because she didn't have a good relationship with the second Queen. When the King heard it, he thought she was just exaggerating. Though even if it was a dwarf the king wouldn't still mind. When she broke the news about the child being a dwarf to the king, the king's reaction didn't change which led to her putrid mood. The king didn't say anything and he headed towards his room shoving his head towards the ground level.
