Chapter 26 , At his mercy..?

Does He think she hates him....?

Moomal looked up at him without hesitation and tried to clear up his misunderstanding, but before she could say anything , Zayn spoke again.

"Kareem! Take Moomal in the drawing room, I'll come after informing Baba about her." Zayn said to the boy standing behind him who had opened the door for Moomal before.

Moomal was surprised at his order of sending her to the drawing room.

She looked at him with questioning eyes. But unlike him she could not express her displeasure with words because his distant behavior prevented her from saying anything.

And Moomal was not only one who was surprised by Zayn's order, but Kareem, who was standing there, was also looking at Zayn with confused eyes.

Kareem wanted to say something , but as soon as he saw his warning glare, he gulped in fear and headed for the drawing room. Even Moomal , who was also afraid of Zayn anger , followed Kareem without saying anything.

Zayn was watching her go. But this time instead of pain there was a smile on his handsome face.

Kareem left Mammal in the drawing room, Moomal sat on the sofa and began to look around. Because before today she had only seen this room once or twice, otherwise this room is only open for the important guests.

She never thought that one day She would be sitting in this room as a guest. A sad smile appeared on her lips.

She was engulfed in her grief when the sound of the door opening jolt her out of her thoughts and she looked there.

But instead of her Uncle she saw Zayn who had already entered. Moomal looked behind him to see if her uncle was standing behind Zayn, but Zayn turned around and closed the door.

"Zayn , where is Uncle ...?" Moomal Asked. But instead of answering her question, Zayn stood silently in front of the door keeping his back towards her.

Moomal didn't like it at all. She got up from her seat, but before she could say anything, in a quiet room she heard the sound of the door being locked.

And Zayn turned towards her.

"Baba is in Karachi with mother." Zayn informed her casually, as if before he hadn't lied to her about her uncle.

His eyes were red, as if filled with intense excitement, but the smile on his lips was telling a different story.

His deep eyes were on her face.

She was looking at him with wide eyes.

At the time she was all alone in this house, in this room, with Zayn. because even when she came here, she didn't see any other servant except that boy. That means, she was without a doubt at his mercy.

She was not a baby who could not understand the meaning of all this.

she felt as if someone had placed a heavy stone on her chest which made her gasp for breath, and her heart started pounding against her chest. .
