Chapter 2

The reactions that Millie had received was not a surprise at all. She knew all this time that a mere mention of her name will bring havoc to the people who will hear it.

"Ridiculous! You want us to treat her like she's one of us? The fact that the blood of that man flows in her veins, is enough reason for us to exterminate her."

Millie's brows quickly furrowed at Mad Eye's statement. All she ever understand from it was that it came out as if she was a criminal, and she wasn't liking any of it anymore.

"Dumbledore..." There was a low growl after the Headmaster's name, and everyone's attention turns to her. Her look was so menacing, enough to immobilize them.

They're not looking at a teenage girl anymore. All they ever saw right that moment, was their foe. Voldemort!

"Mirabella..." Dumbledore called to her, trying to calm the girl down. He was the one who saw what she did to the Dementor back in Azkaban, and it would be chaos if she does the same thing in front of the members of the Order, especially to one of them.

"I don't like the way your people make it sound like I'm a criminal."

"Aren't you?" Shacklebot has always been a calm man when it comes to taking care of difficult matters, but he is not completely the same when it comes to matters relating to You Know Who. Particularly, when the relation they were talking about, is a relation bound by blood and flesh.

"No. I am not. But I think this would be the perfect time to be." Mirabella gives everyone the look that literally could kill, and it sends shivers down on everyone's back.

Dumbledore shakes his head, and absentmindedly think of how he would teach the girl some manners. She would need it very soon.

"Millie. I think it would be best if you rest for now. I'll talk to them." Dumbledore stands up from his seat and gestures his hand into the door.

Millie, acting stubborn and all, let out a huff and cross her arms on her chest.

"You guys would be talking about me, right? Then I will stay." Millie raises a brow on Shacklebot before sitting down, this time though, there was a malicious glint on her eyes.

"Mirabella. I think the headmaster is right. You should rest for now. You didn't have the time to sleep because you need to get here. What do you think? I'll take you to your room."

Millie raises her head and looks at the man whom she grew fond of. The man who keeps her entertained inside the Azkaban, even though he's having the same struggles. His face was a lot brighter and livelier than the last time she saw him. He also gains a lot of weight and he's finally looking handsome, which Millie guessed he would be if he wasn't imprisoned inside Azkaban.

Admitting defeat against the persuasion of the man, Millie let out a sigh and nod. She stands up from her seat, and follow Sirius Black towards the door of the room. Sirius grabs the knob for her and opens the door.

Everyone thought that she'll leave without saying anything, but before Sirius can follow her out of the room, Millie stop from walking, and with a quick turn, she looks at everyone inside the room.

"I may be his daughter, but he was never my father. Keep that in mind."

Smirking at everyone followed by a playful salute, Mille finally walks out of the house. Sirius didn't say anything after that. He just let her follow him upstairs. But then Millie stops from her tracks when they reach the first landing. Sirius turns around just in time to see Mira stomping her foot hard on the creaking wooden floor.

Sirius can't help, but find it amusing to watch the girl that just froze him with fear earlier, acting like a spoiled child having her precious tantrum.

"Who the hell do they think they are?! Acting all high and mighty in front of me?! A fifteen years old girl?! And they call themselves adults?! Unbelievable!"

Sirius even let out a muffled chuckle when the girl let out a frustrated scream, followed by a loud swearing. Sirius can't imagine how the girl in front of her, be the same girl that would act as You Know Who's the secret weapon.

"Are you supposed to be-" Sirius' words were cut off when the door right beside Millie, flung open. Revealing most of the teenagers inside, all of them looking worried about something.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred, and George are all inside. All of them looking worried as if a burglar storm inside of the headquarters. They all peek into the door, finally getting a sight of an angry-looking girl in front of the door.

Millie's brows furrowed at the sight of them. Raising a brow, she put her hands on each side of her hips and scoff at them.

"What are you all looking at?"

Sirius finally can't hold it and burst out laughing. Earning all of their attention.

"Since you all are here, let me introduce this angry looking chipmunk in front of you."

"Who are you calling chipmunk, you big goofy dog?!"

The other teenagers' exchange confused glances, all of them looking between the man and the girl in front of them.

"Everyone, this is Mirabella Ri-"

"Mirabella Pince. Call me, Millie. Nothing more." Millie cut in quickly, sending a quick glare on the man's way, which Sirius quickly realizes why.

Once again, the teenagers give each other confused glances. They were all hesitant, because it might be their hallucination but they were sure, something dark is lurking inside the girl they just met today. It was Fred and George who broke the ice.

"Isn't she a bit off, Georgy?"

"I won't say no, Freddy."

Millie look between the two identical guys and frown. How the hell would she knows the difference? She squints her eyes between the two and rolls her eyes. Not even caring anymore about how she'll differentiate them.

"Okay? Then how about them?" Millie asked, pointing a finger to the others who remain standing inside the room.

It was the girl with the bushy brown hair who first step out of the room. One glance at her eyes, Millie already knows that the girl would be a pain in the ass.

"I'm Hermione Granger. That guy with the red hair, looking stupid for admiring you, is Ronald Weasley." A grin finds its way on Millie's lips. Just the sound of the girl's voice confirms what she thought of her.

"Was it wrong to admire me? Why do you seem mad about it? Are you jealous? Is he your boyfriend?"

Millie's satisfaction piled up when the girl in front of her started stuttering excuses while blushing like an overripe tomato. Clearly showing that Millie was right.

"I-I don't know what you're saying!" The girl stated defensively, which Millie just shrug her shoulders too.

"Yeah. Whatever you say." Millie mock, once again, this time shifting her gaze to the red-haired girl beside Ron. Ginny might have noticed her gaze because the girl smiles at her and then step forward.

"I'm Ginny. Fred, George, and Ron are my brothers."

Millie quickly notices the resemblance. Especially their bright red hairs.

"Children of Arthur and Molly, right?" The girl nodded at her, once again with a smile that is a new thing to Millie.

All she knew was the cold stare of the Dementors even though the creatures have no eyes, that's why having someone smile at her was a new thing. But Millie dismisses the thought of getting used to the action because she knew that once they find out who she truly was, the smiles will eventually turn into snarls and scowls.

"Then... you must be the infamous Harry Potter." Millie started, turning her gaze into the last boy behind everyone. The same boy that caught her attention back on the first floor. The boy who kept bugging and entering her dreams as if he had always been belong to them.

Something about her green eyes captivated Millie. She might not admit it, but she was unmistakably attracted to them. She knows the function of the glasses he was wearing, but if she can only tell him what to do, she'll tell him to take them off so she can freely gawk at the orbs as long as she wants.

"It's only Harry Potter." Millie grins against the cold stare the boy was giving her, knowing well how his orbs betray him. It wasn't cold at all. Not the way he wants it to look. To Millie, it was more like, welcoming and filled with warmth. As if his eyes knew her all this time. Just waiting for her arrival.

Millie would most likely follow his words with a remark, but the moment her lips parted, strength left her body, and her vision blurs. It was Sirius who caught her when she lost her balance and wobble to the side.

"Millie!" Millie lifts her hand to hold at the man's arm, trying to get support for her body, while holding her head with the other. Her head throbbing with pain. Her surroundings twirling so fast like a massive tornado. "What happened? Are you okay?!"

Millie looks at the man's black orbs and forces a smile on her lips. Trying to show him that she's fine, even though the sudden paleness of her face and skin were showing vividly.

"Y-Yeah. I think I just need some sleep..." Millie's voice turns groggy. Sirius tried to help her move a few steps, but her body finally slumped. Her eyes shut tightly, along with her deep breaths. Sirius hoist her up, lifting her into his arm in a bridal style. Worry flashing into his eyes as he stares at the girl's peaceful sleeping face.

"Is she okay?" Hermione asked worriedly. All of them staring at the girl with wide eyes, worried, even though they just met the girl.

"She'll be fine. She just needs rest. I'll ask Remus to look at her later. All of you, go downstairs for breakfast." After that, Sirius turned his back on all of them and climbed the stairs with Millie in his arms. Bringing her straight into his room in the mansion.

Sirius lay Millie down on his bed and grab the comforter to cover her with it. Millie made a small movement to get into her side but didn't wake up. Sirius stares at her face and painfully remember how the girl would tremble in fear the first week she spent inside the Azkaban. How she'll sob at nights when the Dementors roam around their cells. How she'll scream nonstop about not killing her mother. The accusation the department of magic threw at her and got her landed in Azkaban.

Sirius will never forget how the girl would stare at the Dementors passing by their cells one night. Three years after the girl was thrown in there. The night was looming everywhere, enveloping them along with the thick cold weather. Sirius still remembers how the girl trembled that night. He thought she was just scared. But when the girl suddenly leaps from her cell to grab the cloak of the Dementor, he knew it wasn't fear. It was rage.

He can't fathom how the girl was able to grab the Dementor at first, but the most startling thing happens. The Dementor exploded into a heap of dust. No trace of the horrible creature at all. He tried to whip his hand around where he saw the creature but felt nothing. Not even the trace of the freezing air along with it. But that's not all... Sirius remembers how he stupidly shudders at the sight of the malicious grin on the girl's face. It was as of... He was looking into the darkest thing he'd never seen before.

Sirius made a gesture of caressing the girl's face, as he stares at her sleeping state, but a knock prevents him from doing so. He stands up from sitting on the edge of the bed walk to the door to open it. Revealing Remus Lupin who quickly caught the sight of Millie on the bed.

"What happened?"Asked the werewolf, after Sirius let him in.

Remus went straight into the bed and sit on the edge. He places the back of his hand on the girl's forehead, before carefully grabbing the girl's wrist to feel her pulse.

"She collapsed when we were about to go to her room," Sirius answered. He was standing behind Remus, with his arms folded across his chest.

"She's fine. She's just sleep-deprived." Remus stated after getting a feel of the girl's pulse on her neck.

"She told me she just needs sleep before collapsing. Maybe she didn't get any proper sleep before Albus took her out." Sirius said, ruffling his hair out of frustration.

The two men stare at the girl's face, and both let out a sigh at the same time.

"I still can't believe that the Ministry threw a six years old girl inside Azkaban for a crime they don't even have any evidence. How can they suspect six years old, to begin with?" Remus' voice was covered with anger. It might not be obvious on the man's face, since he'd always been the most gentle out of the group, but Sirius know.

"The Ministry never learned anything about their mistakes. They just keep repeating and repeating them." Sirius scoff after his words and make a move towards the bed, but Remus' hand caught his wrist.

"How about Harry's hearing in the Ministry? Harry won't show it, but he's certainly worried." Sirius carefully brushes Remus's hand away and looks at his friend.

"Albus will take care of it."

The two men remained quiet after that. Both staring at the girl who's supposedly their key to Victory...
