Not The Expected

Tunde noticed Sophia has been taking in deep breaths as they spoke, and when she turned to leave, her steps seemed rushed, and just when he was about to ask her if she was okay, he sees her falling to the floor.

Tunde stood up with a bolt, and at the speed of light he was already by her side.

Sophia felt her chest tightening, like her air supply was being cut off.

By the time Tunde got to her side, she was already gasping for breath.

"Sophia! Are you okay?" Tunde could feel the fear in his own voice. And the moment he saw the pain in her face, he became even more scared.

Tunde noticed the way she took laboured breaths, holding her chest, and he immediately understood she was having an asthmatic attack. One of his cousins is asthmatic, so he knows what it looks like when one is having a crisis.

"Where is your inhaler?" He asked her. Sophia slowly pointed to the house.

"It's in your room?" He asked.
