A Hunch

Since the last time, Tunde went over to his parents place, and warned his mother to stop coming over to his house, without informing him first, he hasn't seen her.

They only speak on phone, whenever he calls to check up on her.

Several times his personal assistant at the office, had told him that, his mother had been to the office to see his father, and not one of those times, did she stop by at his office to say hello to him.

He knew she was still angry at him because of what he said, but he wasn't going to back down on his decision.

At the close of work, instead of driving straight home, he decided go over to his parents' house, and say hello to his mom. He called Sophia on his way, and told her about his plans to see his mom.

"Mummy E kaale ma." (Meaning, good evening in yoruba), Tunde postrated in greeting, to his mom who was in the living room.

"Pele oko mi. How are you?" She tapped him on his shoulders.
