Pushing A Bit Too Much

Mrs Makinde was in a state of utter confusion as she stood and watched the doctors and nurses move in and out of her daughter's hospital room, trying to save her life.

She felt like her whole world was falling apart, the regret of not listening to Taiwo when she wanted to talk to her this morning, was eating her up. If only she had known she would have just listened to whatever it is she had to say, maybe this wouldn't have happened. How was going to explain to her husband that she didn't listen to their daughter when she wanted to talk to her, because she was busy trying to go fight the Okoye's about their company.

Her younger daughter Kehinde was standing beside her alongside their housekeeper who was busy praying the decades of her rosary for Taiwo's recovery.

She could see her daughter Kehinde muttering some inaudible words under her breath, and she could tell she was praying for her twin sister.
