Married To Sophistication

When Sophia went back to pick up Taiwo, she found her mother trying to talk to her, but the girl wouldn't let her.

Sophia came down from her car to meet them.

"Thank God you are here Sophia." Taiwo said as she saw Sophia and immediately opened the car and got in, ignoring her mother who was still trying to talk to her.

Sophia and her mother inlaw both continued to look at each other for a while, before Sophia turned to get back in her car.

Sophia turned to look at her wondering if she was the one who just spoke.

"I know we haven't always been in best of terms, but please I need you to help me talk to Taiwo please. She doesn't want to have anything to do with me, please help me talk to her to forgive me."

Sophia was stunned, never in her life did she ever think such a day would come when her almighty mother in-law, would beg her for anything.

"I will understand if you say won't do it, but I...."
