For His Own Good

Jumoke was in her office sorting out some new orders when the door opened and a tall, dark and handsome young man walked in. It took a moment for her to recognize who it was. When she last saw him five years ago, he was way younger than he looked now. He was now a full-grown man.

"Uchenna!" She said as she was finally able to recollect his face. "I almost didn't recognize you," she got up from her chair and walked around her desk to hug him.

"Hello Jumoke," Uchenna said with a smile as they hugged. "How have you been?"

"I'm good," Jumoke said pulling away from the hug, to look at his face. He looked more handsome than she remembered.

"Have I changed that much?" Uchenna asked her.

"Well, you look way different than the last time I saw you," Jumoke said.

"In a good way or bad way?" Uchenna asked.

"Definitely in a good way. Please have your seat." Jumoke said, pointing to a couch that was in a corner of her office.
