Married To Sophistication

The following morning Uchenna went to Jumoke's place to pick her up and take her to work just like he had promised the night before.

"My mechanic says my car would be ready by today, so you don't have to bother about coming over to pick me up this evening," Jumoke said to Uchenna as they arrived at her place of work.

"It's no bother. I enjoy driving you to work," Uchenna said with a smile.

Jumoke was silent for a moment as she looked at him, there was something about the way he smiled at her which makes her want to smile as well.

"You have a nice smile," she heard herself say. What? Why did she say that? Hope he doesn't take it the wrong way?

"Hmm, I should try to smile more often then. Thanks," Uchenna said smiling evening wider.

"Thank you for your help. Do have yourself a nice day." Jumoke quickly got down from the car before she says something she would later regret.
