Thankfully I was able to get through the rest of the school day like normal, which I would say if it wasn't a lie. Everything was fine until lunch. I got a little greedy and decided to use all my time trying to get something at the snack bar. I ended up with the last two chocolate chip cookies they had. And with that, I decided to savor them. The cookies were slightly warm, the outsides made a soft crunch while the inside of the cookie was fragile and sweet, the melted chocolate chips making a small mess. Unfortunately, me savoring my cookies took up the rest of the lunch, it wouldn't be a bad thing but I needed to get my books from my locker. What worried me the most was if my teacher was strict, I never got to meet them since school ended around the lunch period of last Monday. A slight shiver went up to my spine after thinking about the unfortunate event of last Monday.

As I predicted, I was late for 6th period. I took a deep breath and opened the door slowly. I peeped my head through the space I cracked open. A few of my classmates glanced at me then resumed what they were doing. The teacher was nowhere in sight, it confused me. I observed the room to see if our teacher was amongst the students chattering. But instead of the teacher, I spotted a familiar face. Once again, it was Samuel, and he was approaching me. He was now in front of me.
"Chill out. The teacher had to deal with a few things, they were unable to get a sub so he trusted us to be a good class." He started. "He didn't leave us with any work either, so we're all just having fun." He finished.
I let out a sigh full of relief. "Ok, thanks." I made my reply quick and tried to find a seat.
Samuel was already at his seat, there was, fortunately, an empty one next to him. Samuel looked at me as I approached. A boy tapped his shoulders, and the next thing I knew the seat I was going by to claim was now gone. Now I got annoyed, it was clear to him that I was going to sit there.
"Are you as dumb as a rock?" I huffed.
"Perhaps." He responded uninterested.
"I know for a fact you saw me looking at that seat, where am I going to sit now?" My temper rose a bit.
"First, first come first serve. Second, just sit on my chair with me." He said unbothered.
"What the fu-" I was interrupted by Samuel pulling me down to the side of his chair. I was caught off guard I didn't even have a reaction. I stayed silently pissed for the time being. Samuel squished closer to me. My attention strayed away to what he was doing towards the whispers of the class. They were starting again just like this morning. The girls were whispering about Samuel and me again, I felt uncomfortable. I decided to take my leave by standing up and walking to a corner of the room with an outlet. There was only a single boy in the corner. He was decently good looking and seemed unbothered with me.
Samuel was caught off guard a bit by my actions. He tried not to show it but it was obvious to tell. I connected my wired earbuds to my phone and watched the latest episode of Haikyuu. I sat there unbothered and relaxed. I gave a few smiles as I watched the episode. But then I got an unexpected tap on the shoulder, it was the big sitting next to me. I decided to give him my full attention by taking out my earbuds.
"Are you Karasuno's best decoy?" The boy asked slyly. I sat there puzzled.
"Cuz your a ten." He finished. I now realized that was a pickup line. It was dorky but I found it funny. I gave a small laugh. After that, the boy and I hit it off. He introduced himself as Aaron. He was nice and we shared a few common interests. I enjoyed my conversation with him. And by the end of class, I got asked for a little date.
"So how about we meet at the local park around five-ish?" He asked sort of shy.
"Yep, sounds good." I agreed. And before I knew it, the bell for the passing period rang.
"I'll see ya after school." I smiled and gave a quick wave, I left the room to my seventh period.

I was so caught up with the idea of a date, the seventh period went in a blink of an eye for me. This was my first date, so I wanted to be prepared. School ended at 3 pm, I was already in my small apartment. I decided to just drop off my school bag and tidy up my look before I went. I combed me hair and straightened out any wrinkles that covered my clothes.
I was starting to get nervous. I didn't even know what we going to do on this date! Now I was panicking. What am I supposed to bring? My wallet, jacket, and what? What were we going to talk about? These questions filled my mind until I calmed down, prepared, then left the home.

It was a few minutes before five. I started walking to the meeting spot Aaron and I agreed on, which happened to be a bench to the far side of the park. What caught me off guard was the unusual smell that grew stronger the closer I walked towards my destination.
It was metallic, the irony smell. I was not fond of the smell. But I grew scared the closer I approached. The stone of the stairs, specifically the cracks. They seemed to have a rusty color to them, while the rest was dirt.
But then I saw it, the horrific pool of crimson leaking into a river.
