The Man Who Called Himself Wolf

After an hour of riding in Ayans arms they had finally reached the city of Alma.

Zara while still in Ayans arms curiously looked around her in the city of so called Beastmen. The people around her didn't seem any different from regular humans so was Ayan actually lying about being a Wolf?

One thing Zara did notice is that there were indeed many men around her most of them very beautiful, only once in a while would she she a woman among all the men. But compared to the men, the women were not as beautiful.

She also noticed that all eyes were on her.

"Don't worry, I won't let any males get close to you, at least for now you're mine and mine alone." Ayan said in a very dominating voice.

The city was filled with many Beastmen although this city looked very different than hers. It didn't seem as far advanced with technology as hers was, no where near it in fact.

However the architecture was pretty stunning, although simple.

As they were walking down the stone street another male suddenly appeared in front of Ayan and Zara. Except this male was not nearly as handsome and muscular as Ayan was.

"What a beautiful female you have there! Did she just reach reach puberty? I don't see any contract marks on her body. Although she is dressed very peculiar but the most beautiful female I've seen by far!" The loud man boasted.

"Hey female, why don't you enter your first contract with me instead? I can give you so much more than this little pup."

Zara started to get scared at the man that was quickly approaching her.

Just then Ayan set her down and approached the loud and daring man.

"Why don"t we compete for the right to this young females first contract?" Ayan shouted out.

"Wait! They aren't seriously about to fight over me and claim me like a prize are they!" Zara thought to herself.

As Ayan approached the other male he turned around to Zara "Don't worry, as I said before, you're mine and mine alone." He said with a soft smile.

Just then Zara felt her heart beat louder, how could someone she had just met be so charming?

However just 2 seconds later something happened that made her heart beat even faster.

Almost instantly Ayan transformed into a wolf! A real wolf! He was at least 10 feet tall with fangs as big as Zara's head, his whole body covered in magnificent black fur, claws that seemed like they could rip into anything.

"He really is a wolf!" Zara said astounded.

Right after Ayan transformed the loud male that dared to combat Ayan for the right to this young girl transformed into a bear, just as big as Ayan but not as impressive.

Spectators quickly gathered around to see the battle between the two males for the right to the mysterious young girl that appeared out of nowhere, some had eyes on Zara others on the fight that was about to happen in the middle of the street.

"Is no one finding this strange?" Zara thought.

Unknown to Zara this kind of thing was common among the Beastmen.

Just then in a matter of seconds it was all over, Zara didn't even know what had happened.

There on the floor laid a massive bear that was horribly injured. On top of him an even more impressive wolf with blood stained teeth, in just one attack Ayan was able to take him down.

The bear Beastman then transformed back to his human form and a satisfied Ayan did as well.

Ayan came back towards Zara with a blood stained face, Zara instantly stepped back as she was slightly afraid.

"Don"t worry, I only exist to protect you." He said, even with a blood stained face he looked as handsome as ever.

"Come, lets go home." He said to Zara.

"Wait! You're not injured are you? And the blood, we have to clean it up!" Zara told him.

Dumbfounded Ayan couldn't understand why this girl would care if he was injured or not, usually females only cared to be protected, and to have their needs tended to, not the other way around.

"I'm fine, as I said before, let's go home, it's late and I indeed expect to claim my prize." Ayan said.

He picked up Zara back into his arms.

"Huh? Prize? I am not a prize!" Zara shouted at Ayan as they continued down the road.

Ayan happily paid her no attention.
