NEW LIFE

"Good morning, mom." said Hafiz while kissing the back of Habibah's hand

"Good morning too ... Hafiz you've come? instead of tomorrow morning you will come?" asked Habibah, who happened to be on the front porch.

"Tomorrow I have a meeting ma'am, so I'm going forward today to escort Fazrani to move here." Hafiz explained while waiting for Fazrani to pick up souvenirs in the car.

"Fazrani, this is my mother ... Mrs. Habibah's name." said Hafiz to Fazrani.

Fazrani smiled and nodded slightly then kissed the back of Habibah's hand.

"Beautiful and elegant, Hafiz, it's not wrong if you choose Fazrani as your future wife. What is more important is that Fazrani looks more beautiful in her heart because she is already willing to accept jobs that require patience." said Habibah who made Fazrani's face flushed with shame.

Really, Fazrani's heart could not believe what she heard. Hafiz's mother said that she was the future wife of Hafiz Malik.

"Em ... mom, I have to take Fazrani to the official residence first. We will continue our conversation later." said Hafiz who felt ashamed of Fazrani because until now he had not expressed his feelings.

"Yes Fiz, be careful on the road." Habibah said happily, it turned out that the woman her son had chosen was not far off her estimate.

Fazrani, who had been mostly silent since earlier, could only smile and then took her leave by kissing the back of Habibah's hand.

In the car the silence began to engulf the two of them, until Hafiz Malik sighed heavily.

"Fazrani, I'm sorry for what my mom said, which might make you think. But I can say ... what my mom said is true. I want to make you my wife. I'm not asking for your answer now. Next week when I come back I'll be asking you your answer, so there's a week for you to think about it." said Hafiz seriously and was very relieved after saying it.

For Fazrani what Hafiz said was very shocking to her heart and could not say anything but can only be silent.

"Can you think of my wish earlier?" asked Hafiz with a serious face.

Fazrani nodded her head slowly.

"Thank you." said Hafiz smiling without hesitation because in his heart he was very sure that Fazrani also had the same feelings.

Arriving in front of the small and simple house, Hafiz stopped the car.

"We have arrived at Zra, take a look at the house, it is not big but it looks enough if only you occupy it." said Hafiz with a calmer heart.

"Come on, let's get down." said Hafiz, getting out of the car first and opening the door for Fazrani, it really made Fazrani's heart flattered.

In the distance near the coconut tree across the road, Allam saw Hafiz who opened the door and saw Fazrani getting out of the car with a smile.

"What's your name, graceful lady?" Allam muttered in a low voice on his motorbike.

Allam's gaze did not blink at Fazrani who had disappeared behind the door.

With a complicated feeling, Allam started his bike at high speed and disappeared around the corner.

"How about Fazrani? Is this house worth living in?" Hafiz asked when he was inside the house.

"It's more than a word worthy of Hafiz, thank you for the facilities you have given me. This is more than enough." answered Fazrani without preamble.

"Thank goodness, then excuse me to go home, tonight I'll go straight back to the city. And I remind you again next Sunday when I come back here, you have prepared the answer." said Hafiz with a smile.

Fazrani's face turned red again.

"I try to Hafiz I will be ready when that day arrives." said Fazrani calmly.

"Alright Fazrani, I'll go home first. Goodbye we meet next Sunday." said Hafiz with a smile as he walked out of the house.

"Goodbye Hafiz, be careful on your way." said Fazrani with a calmer heart and was sure of her feelings that Hafiz was a good man who deserved to be her husband.

***

In the afternoon Fazrani ventured out of the house on foot looking for a shop to shop for her daily needs.

From her house, Fazrani walked to the corner of the new road to find a shop which was quite large and looked very complete.

"A good afternoon Madam." said Fazrani kindly to the woman who owns the shop.

"Good evening too Miss, what are you looking for?" asked a woman who still looks beautiful even though her age is almost the same as Hafiz Malik's mother Habibah.

"Want to buy rice and cooking oil Madam." replied Fazrani politely.

"Looks like you never saw Miss face in this village?" asked the mother who was amazed at Fazrani's elegant appearance, dressed in syar'i and veiled.

"Yes ma'am, I just moved from the city, my name is Fazrani, I was transferred to teach at the Budi Mulia Foundation in the village of Kunjang here." answered Fazrani honestly did not hide her identity.

"I am Laila Miss. You're the new teacher who replaced Miss Amalia right?" asked Laila with a beaming face.

"I don't really understand who Amalia is, madam." Fazrani replied, who did not know the reason for moving to Kunjang village by Hafiz Malik.

"Oh .. Miss Amalia is a teacher who has taught at the Budi Mulia Foundation. She recently resigned, embarrassed that she had done such a dishonorable thing to Hafiz. Amalia, a teacher, has no shame in chasing Hafiz until she comes to Hafiz's room while resting at the Foundation Office." said Laila which made Fazrani's heart tremble.

"Mrs. Laila, thank you for everything, so how much money do I have to pay, Madame?" asked Fazrani with a heart still beating with the shocking news.

After paying for all the purchases, Fazrani asked to say goodbye and rushed out of the shop until he almost got hit by a motorbike that had just entered the store terrace.

"Ciiiiittttt" the sound of motorcycle tires stopped suddenly.

"Oh, my God!!" said Fazrani in surprise while holding her chest, and even more surprised when she found out who hit her.

"Allam!! how are you !! Don't you know that Fazrani wants to come out !! You must be drunk again! I'll see you later I'll tell your father." said Laila irritatedly seeing Allam who never changed his character and attitude. Really, even though the punishment is very harsh if the father is very angry.

"Sorry mom." said Allam, who was still transfixed on his motorbike.

"Fazrani, a very beautiful name." Allam said to himself.

"Forgive my son Fazrani." said Laila, feeling ashamed to have a son but not at all to be proud of.

"Allam!! let's quickly apologize to Fazrani." said Laila with very angry eyes.

With his body slightly swayed from the influence of the drink, Allam approached Fazrani and stretched out his hand.

"Forgive me." Allam said in his deep voice.

"I forgive you." Fazrani replied without replying to Allam's helping hand.
