10 hours of hell, is the best way to describe what I saw in my memories for the 'modelling'. It was without a doubt, scarring, I wish I could forget what I remembered. Sadly, it's not possible because if I seal it, I'll just get curious again. Now, I just need to get through the other 33 hours since, without a doubt, these next 33 hours should be the most interesting.
I'm especially curious how I got my sub-class [Metallurgist]. I'm also curious how long it's been outside of my head, the perception of time has probably changed to accommodate my thinking ability. Now then, time to watch my memories.
---33 Hours Earlier---
"My limbs are stiff. My arms, legs, torso, MY EVERYTHING ACHES. Inyene, there better be some damn good minerals. If not, oh, you're gonna be in for some fun."
"...Didn't know you went that way Ruru, how interesting."
With a facepalm followed by an extremely blank stare as my answer, Inyene reluctantly started speaking with the purpose of reassuring me.
"Now, now, I told you before but there are multiple gems and ores stronger than diamond, all from Metztli. I can guarantee you that you'll find it interesting."
"...If not, you know I'll get my revenge."
Inyene simply sighed as an answer. A minute or two later, all the doll dresses were packed into the suitcase. After she closed the suitcase, Inyene simply walked over and picked me up. Me, being on the brink of sleep already, simply let her pick me up and carry me to wherever she was going.
She exited the room and the setup into the corridor. The last time I was in this corridor, we simply rushed into the room behind us. Now, with time to look, I surveyed the corridor.
It was like all the other corridors in this church-like castle, huge. With dark purple, borderline black carpets and gold-colored lining along the edges, the hidden pristine white marble floor blended in well. It had arches along the left and right, only deviating from the pattern when there's a window or a bridge that overlooks the courtyard. In between every three arches or so on both sides sits a knight's armor. The part that had me captivated at that moment were the runes and designs engraved into the black-gold armor. I was immediately drawn to the carvings, when I asked about them Inyene deflected saying we'll see the gems soon.
I thought about it for a while at the time, deciding to ignore it and not caring about them until later, when a new piece of info became apparent.
When we arrived at the gemstone room's doors, the first thought I had was 'bland'. It was a simple purple-colored wood door with a silver doorknob and lines along the edges of the arch it was positioned in.
However, the moment I had entered, I was instantly drawn in. The way I acted when I saw the gems was almost as if I was a mad scientist, the reason to which I still don't know.
I nagged Inyene to go to the nearest gem instantly and I examined them one after another with mineral knowledge, levelling it up twice. Apparently, it needs a lot, and I mean A LOT, of minerals to level up.
The names of the minerals were displayed in a row on the familiar screen with a simple but annoying description for the following.
The first was an odd stone with sky-blue star-like spots in it.
『Mytris: A metallic ore from Metztli, also known as 'Moonstone'』
The next was a white crystal with green lines stretching from one point to another inside it, like a spider's web.
『Kifrich: A crystalline from Metztli, also known as 'Lunar Lichen'』
The third was some type of granite colored stone with black lines along it, almost like veins... or tear-ducts.
『Entiri: A metallic ore from Metztli, also known as 'Emphoris' Tears'』
After that was grey crystal with a cloudy like inside and small lights floating inside it.
『Holistia: A crystalline from Metztli, also known as 'Illusionist's Crystal'』
The next was a void black metal brick, it had small purple lines if you looked at it where there wasn't light.
『Zratian Ingot: A metal ingot made from Zrati from Metztli, Zrati is also known as 'Light's Bane'』
Another metal bri- ingot, was almost completely forest green apart from the fact that it had small lime tints in some areas on the ingot.
『Niantikran: An alloy ingot made from Niath and Ikris, known as 'Dryad's Ore' and 'Ore of the Forest' respectively.』
[Mineral Knowledge: Lv 1 » 2]
I ignored the notification and kept appraising, only having nodded once at the new amount of information. The next one to be appraised was a white ore with red splotches in brown stone.
『Ghaepre [Medium{★}]: A mid-tier metallic ore of medium grade, due to the flexibility, many have used this for bowstrings and the such. Also known as 'Chicken Ore'.』
*PFFT*
Surprised by the name, a sudden laugh escapes my lips. Although disturbed from the rhythm, the next ingot instantly attracted my attention, which brought me back into the focused state.
A dark green ingot, gold lines in some places, shining with an intense incandescence I felt the heat from a full meter away.
'Mineral Knowledge'
『Faetia (Aerial✪): A peak Aerial tier ingot. Knowledge Insufficient. Rumors: It is said that this metal was made from the very branches of the World Tree.』
I was speechless, the useless sy-
[I'M NOT USELESS!]
-stem had never resorted to rumors before. This was a first and the urge to experiment almost got the better of me. Almost.
I turned and spoke out in an insanely, borderline crazy, creepy-calm voice.
"Inyene, is there a class to do with metals."
She shivered. That Inyene, the deathly aura Inyene, shivered. Whether it was at the sight of my crazed look or by my insane temperament, who knows?
[I do.]
'First off, how IN THE HELL are you in my flashback into my memories! Second, what are you talking about!? YOU AREN'T GOD.'
[...First, I am prolonging time to speak with you while the memories are playing albeit EXTREMELY slow.]
'Reasonable, you showed that off when you appeared after all.'
[Second, I am not god, he's an {Redacted} but I do have thought-reading features available for certain users.]
'And I'm one of them? I thought I was one of the 'Undecided', the idiots? Why is that a thing?'
[We'd look like terrible administrators when the GC starts.]
'What's the GC'
[Classified information.]
'What isn't classified at this point!'
[The fact that you're a smartass.]
'...'
[...]
'When did you get sassy?'
[I picked up a few things from you.]
'...'
I turn back to the memory projector and the system understands my intentions.
