The Demon That Brings Forth Bad Weather

A storm has been plaguing the kingdom of Sultan Baibars and his people.

The hail-producing thunderclouds are destroying fields, vineyards and orchards even the crops don't stand a chance and this has been going on for three weeks now and Baibars has no idea what to do.

" I have no idea what to do! " said Baibars within his throne room.

" Please do try to calm down sire " said Aaqil.

" Man the King sure is frustrated " said Azi.

" Would you not be frustrated when the lives of thousands were on your hands " said Anna.

" I guess you have a point " said Azi.

Baibars looked at Anna.

" Anna go and see to it that all the citizens are safe. Help them in any why you can and make sure that they stay in their houses till this storm blows over " said Baibars.

" Yes sire " said Anna.

Aaqil looked at Anna and then said " Be careful Anna "

" Yes sir " said Anna.

Anna ran out the throne room and went on to check on every citizen of the kingdom.

Anna made sure the young and old were safe.

Anna made sure that Asia and Hadil were safe.

Anna even made sure that all the animals within the kingdom were safe.

Anna did all this while being hit by the full force of the rain, hail and thunder sounds from the raging storm above. Oh and so was Azi.

" This is crazy! I have never seen or experienced a storm as bad as this one " said Azi.

" To be honest. This is no normal storm. This is actually the work of a demon " said Ana.

" What do you mean Ana? " said Anna.

" This is the work of the demon known as Ala. Not only do they produce the storm you are experiencing right now but they have also been known to eat children and on some occasions they have even been known to eat suns and moons " said Ana.

Anna stopped running.

" So they can also eat suns and moons… " said Anna.

Azi just looked at Anna.

" Anna. You look like you have a plan in mind " said Azi.

" And Indeed I do. Let us fight fire with fire " said Anna with a smile on her face.

Anna raised her hands towards the sky. Her eyes were now glowing and then she yelled " Jawzahr I need your help! "

From outer space. Two stars could be seen moving but those two stars were not stars but instead they were the glowing eyes of Jawzahr flying closer to the earth.

When Jawzahr was close to earth he roared towards the storm clouds that had gathered above the Eastern Mediterranean sea (and all this was possible even though sound does not travel in space (not to mention that there is no oxygen in space) but just roll with it)

The storm clouds vanished which meant that the Ala was destroyed.

The sun was slowly showing its beauty across the kingdom and the people were slowly getting out of their houses.

Anna lowered her hands. Smiled and then said

" Thank you Jawzahr "

Jawzahr flew back into the depth of space.

Baibars and Aaqil were both looking up at the cloudless sky and admired the miracle that was the sun.

A week has gone by since the attack by the Ala.

Most of the corpses have been destroyed but the citizens have not given up hope. They are all working hard to get back what they have lost.

Anna is taking a walk within all the nearby forest of the kingdom, to make sure that there are no animals injured or suffering and if there were. Anna would then see to their injuries.

" Thankfully there have been no animals that have been hurt by the Ala " said Anna.

" That is no surprise. Veles only wants to hurt the people and not mother nature or the animals " said Azi.

" Be that as it may. I still want to help the people, the animals and nature itself " said Anna.

" Be careful that you don't over do it Anna. It is fine wanting to help those in need but you must also look out after yourself " said Ana.

Anna smiled.

" I know. I will do my best for everyone and for myself " said Anna.

Azi and Ana also smiled (well. Gun Ana smiled from within the necklace)

" Hey who is that? " said Azi.

Anna looked where Azi was looking.

Past some of the trees was a small lake and near that lake sat an old man.

Anna walked over to the old man and said

" Excuse me sir. Are you lost? Do you need help? "

The old man looked at Anna.

The old man had a kind face and his eyes were glowing with life despite his old age.

" No. I just wanted to enjoy the lake is all" said the old man.

" What is so interesting about a lake " said Azi.

"Haha. Not much but it is the simple things in life that are most enjoyable " said the old man.

Anna and Azi were surprised.

" Mister. Can you see and hear Aziza? " said Anna.

" Indeed I can. It that so strange " said the old man.

" Well yes! Not many people can " said Azi.

" Than I am honored to be one of the few that can " said the old man with a smile.

Anna sat down next to the old man.

" Hey mister. Do you mind telling me your name? My name is Anna " said Anna.

" I do not mind at all. My name is al-Khidr but please just call me Khidr and it is a pleasure meeting you Anna " said Khidr.

Both Anna and Khidr talked about various things for hours.

For some reason.

Anna actually told Khidr about Veles and what she and Azi and Ana had been through.

" I see. I am sorry that a small child like yourself had to go through all that hardship but on the behalf of everyone you have saved, allow me to thank you " said Khidr.

" I didn't do it because I wanted thanks or rewards.

I simply help those in need is all " said Anna.

" Be that as it may. Whenever you help someone. You are actually giving a piece of your soul to the individual you help " said Khidr.

Anna looked at Khidr a little confused.

" What do you mean? " said Anna.

" Let me explain. Whenever you help someone you first have to put yourself in their situation.

You have to feel what they feel and see the world through their eyes and at the same time. The person your helping is slowly seeing the world through your eyes. That is why you have to give something to be willing to help someone " said Khidr.

Anna's eyes widen.

" I never thought about it like that " said Anna.

" Please do not take this the wrong way but you are still far too young to have the whole world on your shoulders " said Khidr.

" THAT IS WHERE YOU ARE WRONG! " yelled Azi.

Anna and Khidr both looked at Azi.

" Anna does not have to whole world on her shoulders. I am here to carry some of that wright with her " said Azi.

" Azi…. " said Anna.

" With all due respect. I am here as well and I shall light your way through the darkness " said Ana.

" Ana… " said Anna as she was looking down at the ruby in her necklace.

Khidr smiled and then said " Then it seems that I was worried for nothing "

Anna stood back up and then said " I will do my best to help does in need and I will also do my best to serve the sultan and I will do all this with my friends at my side "

" May God protect that pure soul of yours " said Khidr quietly to himself.

" It was an honor meeting you mister Khidr but I must head back to the kingdom. Are you sure that you are okay? " said Anna.

" The honor was all mine and yes. I am perfectly fine " said Khidr with a warm smile.

Anna and Khidr shock hands and then Anna started to walk back to the kingdom.

After there was some distance between Anna and Khidr.

Azi then said

" What a nice old man " said Azi.

" Well that is no surprise " said Ana.

" What do you mean Ana " said Anna.

" Well Khidr or al-Khidr goes by many names but the things Khidr is known for is that he guards the sea. Teach's secret knowledge and aids those in distress. He is a saint as well as a guardian angel " said Ana.

Anna stopped walking.

Anna looked back at the lack and saw that Khidr was no longer there.

Anna smiled and then continued walking towards the kingdom of sultan Baibars.
