Chapter Four; Part Two

There was a sudden flash of light and darkness as Akari reached Atiyama, everyone else knocking their opposing Dark Elementia away from me and taking them on with their elements. The Dark Elementia quickly drove my comrades away one after the other with their powers however. First was Agni, then Jinny, Daichi, Kazane, and finally Hanako. All that was left was Akari to face Atiyama and the mystery man with the plasma element.

The Plasma Elementia took a few shots at me and I did my best to dodge. Akari deflected his shots with ease however, keeping me safe. "You call him a natural talent, but he doesn't seem like much to me."

The smile on the Plasma Elementia's lips faded and Atiyama chuckled. "Nobody's perfect Akari, we both know that. This is only just the beginning for both our new Elementia right?" Darkness shrouded the Darkness Elementia and the slight smile he had faded. "Although this'll be the end for yours..."

Akari didn't respond and just took a stance, charging at the two of them. The Plasma Elementia fired a barrage of shots at her and she glowed brightly, easily dodging and maneuvering around the plasma shots with ease with her light speed. She flew right to the Plasma Elementia in a flash and kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying off his feet and he rolled on the ground, holding his gut.

He groaned before slowly getting back up, smirking, as if to say, "Is that all you've got?" Akari seemed to get his message, but simply ignored him, firing a blast of light at Atiyama who was getting closer to me. I hadn't even noticed because I couldn't take me eyes off the other two. I shivered at the thought of how easily Atiyama could've probably killed me, though quickly clenched my fists in gritted my teeth. I then fired a bolt of lightning at the Plasma Elementia who was about to fire at Akari. I imagine she could've easily evaded, but I was tired of sitting there and doing nothing.

Akari looked back at me, kind of surprised, but she smiled, firing a weak blast of light at the boy. He quickly fired two blasts from his hands, propelling himself away to avoid it, but she was behind him in the blink of an eye. She spun around and kicked him into the floor, the boy giving another pained grunt.

Atiyama clicked his tongue, seemingly in annoyance. "Maybe we came here to early after all..." He muttered and he charged at Akari, his shadow moving ahead of him and literally coming out of the ground. It was a terrifying sight to see opposed to Akari's elegant and beautiful way of fighting.

Akari glowed brightly once again, the shadows unable to touch her, for her light burned up the shadows before they could reach her. They both moved to each other at blinding speeds, Akari cloaked in white light while Atiyama was cloaked in a dark shadow. As they collided, it caused a shockwave, blowing me back from the force of it "A-Ah!" I yelled as I rolled on the ground, encasing my hands in lightning and digging them into the ground so I wouldn't go flying.

When I looked up from where I was, I was able to see Akari and Atiyama, encased in an swirl of white and black, fighting each other in the sky. Their arms and legs collided and they clashed with one another at intense speeds. It was like I was watching a supernatural karate match, or something out of a fantasy book. Each time they clashed another shockwave pushed against me, but I held my position, keeping my hands buried in the ground.

I didn't take my eyes off of them, taking everything in, instantly memorizing the way they moved and fought. It's not like I was trying to memorize what they were doing, the images were just being stored into my brain.

They seemed to be moving slower and slower the closer I looked. I could even see the looks on their faces: blank and unmotivated. I didn't even have to question why. Who knows how many times they've done this after the one hundred years they've been Elementia. But I could also sense something was off. "It's like...they're not trying at all..." From over a hundred years of experience, you'd expect them to be able to do a lot more than that. "If this is the force of their blows when they're not even motivated...how powerful are they when they're giving it their all..?"

My theory that they could do a lot more was proven when Atiyama suddenly thrusted one of his arms toward Akari, looking like he was clutching something in his fist. After he thrusted, a long, black spear appeared in his hand, made completely of darkness. Akari was able to avoid it barely by quickly tilting her head and turning her body, but a small bit of her hair was cut off, showing the object he was holding was somehow solid. I'm surprised I was able to see so much detail from where I was, but I was too focused on them to pay too much attention to it then.

Suddenly, Atiyama spread his arms out and several copies of the spear he was holding appeared out of thin air from the darkness surrounding him. He aimed the spear in his hand at her and all the other spears flew at her at once. Akari clapped her hands together and the light surrounding her suddenly flashed brightly, bursting and causing a type of shockwave that obliterated all of the spears flying toward her.

"I know that's not the best you can do. What are you trying to accomplish here?" A blade of light suddenly appeared in her hand and a blade of darkness appeared in Atiyama's, Akari's shaped like a perfect shortsword while Atiyama's was more like a long dagger with a jagged blade.

"You'll see soon enough." He replied with a blank look on his face. They flew at one another yet again and clashed blades with one another. Akari swung her blade rapidly, Atiyama parrying and blocking most of her strikes. They both pushed against each other one final time and pushed each other back. Despite the intense speed of their movements, I could see each and every one of their moves clearly.

Akari swung her blade at Atiyama several times and slashes of light flew out of her blade and flew at Atiyama. Atiyama swung his blade forward and several dark balls appeared and flew toward Akari as well. The slashes of light and orbs of darkness clashed, causing explosions of white and black. When it settled, I could see Atiyama and Akari clashing yet again. Suddenly, a beam of mint green plasma flew in between them. I quickly looked over to see the hooded boy firing several more beams at Akari.

"You stupid... Stop getting in the way!" She cut through his blasts with ease with her sword. Immediately, Atiyama's form turned dark and faded. What Akari had been fighting was a shadow the whole time. In the corner of my eyes, I notice Atiyama with the same dark jagged dagger flying right at me.

"Sanda!" Akari cried out as she saw Atiyama, trying to fly after him, but he was too fast and too close.

My eyes widened as several thoughts began running through my mind. "What's going on?" "He's coming..!" "He's gonna kill me..!" "Am I gonna die..?" "What's going on??" "Help me!" I clenched my head as I felt a jolt of pain suddenly, groaning. "This is not the time for this..!"

I looked up to see Atiyama only a few feet away. My eyes widened with fear from the look in his eyes. He thrusted his blade forward without hesitation. I groaned even louder, screaming in pain as a jolt of pure agony was sent throughout my whole body. I started sparking heavily all of a sudden, but Atiyama didn't falter. As Akari said before, only light could hurt darkness, and only darkness could hurt light, so in his eyes, he had nothing to fear. However, as his blade reached me, my lightning shattered it to pieces and it faded into the shadows.

Atiyama's eyes widened slightly, but before he could react, I suddenly let go of my head and clenched my fists, spreading my arms out and screaming loudly as a lightning bolt came down from the sky and zapped me, causing a burst of lightning to blow Atiyama away and a large cloud of smoke to build around me. "Sanda!" I could hear Akari yell before I fell onto my side, falling unconscious.

Everyone else stopped fighting as they saw the lightning bolt, Agni fighting the Lava Elementia, Bobina Angarika, looked over as well, as did she. Both of them began rushing back.

Jinny, fighting the Ice Elementia, Boris Korudo, began rushing back as well, and Boris angrily chased after her. "We're not done yet! Get back here!"

Daichi was in the middle of facing Kristy Ratna, the Crystal Elementia, but both of them immediately rushed off when they saw the lightning, Daichi worried about Sanda and Kristy trying to stop him.

Kazane was fighting with the Gas Elementia, Isek Dhumra. As soon as she saw the lightning her eyes widened in amazement. "That's so dope!" Little whirlwinds swirled at the soles of her feet and she blasted off toward the direction of it.

Isek stayed there for a moment and sighed. "How can one person have so much energy..?" He followed after her, riding on a cloud of smoke.

Hanako was blocking several attacks from the Poison Elementia, Attor Chua, her plants rotting every time his element touched them. However, after he destroyed a wall of plants she made, she was gone, already on her way toward the lightning Sanda had caused. "Aw, we're done playing already? How boring... I wasn't done playing yet!" he then ran in the direction of the lightning as well

Akari raced over and the Plasma Elementia looked on in shock. When the smoke cleared, I was on the ground, passed out, and Atiyama was several feet away, having burn marks littered across his body. "He...he hurt me..?!"
