When I arrived home I was greeted by my mother saying "Aurora, we are going to Malfoy Manor tomorrow night for the annual Pureblood Ball," "Do we really have to go? we go every single year," I protested "you are going and there is no way around it I have already picked out your dress, and told the Malfoys that we would be attending," my mother said while looking over the Dialy Profit with a stern look in her eye. Knowing that there was no way around it I looked at my bags of things for Hogwarts and headed upstairs to my bedroom, that way I could start reading my books for the next upcoming school year in peace.

"Hurry up Aurora we are leaving soon and I expect you to be ready by then," my mother yelled as I was struggling to put on my right sparkly black high heel. I turned around and looked in my mirror I was wearing a black dress that had a sparkling trim. I said goodbye to Opal and headed down the stairs. "I'm ready mother," I said to my mother as she was impatiently waiting for me. "And about time. You have been getting ready for far too long. We are leaving now, the car is waiting on us" my mother said as I was already wanting to go back to the tranquility of my bedroom. I walked outside and climbed into the sleek black flying car that was issued to my father from the ministry. Inside was Marvin he was the driver of the car "where are we going Ms. Aurora" Marvin asked me politely "Malfoy Manor Marvin" I responded with little to no excitement in my voice.
Once we arrived at Malfoy Manor I was mentally ready to see some purebloods that I have grown up with and they are so malicious it makes me want to rip my eyes out of their sockets, and their names are Draco Malfoy and Pansey Parkinson. We used to be friends when we were really little but then they started believing more about what their parents wanted them to believe, and we parted our ways but once or twice a year there is a Pureblood ball when all the purebloods get together and the adult have a dinner party that the kids were never allowed to so we were all stuck together.
I walked into Malfoy Manor with a plastered smile on my face. "Hello Aurora it is lovely to see you, Draco and Pansey are in the ballroom awaiting your arrival," Narcissa said kindly. "It is lovely to see you as well Narcissa" I responded. When I arrived in the ballroom I spotted Draco and Pansey so I walked over, "Hello Draco, Pansy, it is very nice to see you both before we start at Hogwarts" knowing that I meant nothing of what I said. "Hello, Aurora glad to see that you made it" Draco replied, almost immediately after he had finished speaking Pansy rudely interrupted and said, "Aurora, have you decided if you have changed your views on mudbloods or not!" "No Pansy I have not I do think that they are people and deserve to be treated as such" I responded with much hostility in my voice. "Now why don't we go and have dinner" I suggested, "Ok, dinner is being served on the left side of the ballroom," Draco said.
After dinner, I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. And then someone tapped my shoulder and said "Aurora, would you care to dance" I turned around and the person that met my eyes was Draco Malfoy. Knowing that mingling with other people would get me out of this ball quicker. "Sure one dance and then I will be going home," I responded. I had been taking dance lessons with lots of the other kids when I was younger but quit when I finally knew what I was doing and had my falling out with Pansy we used to be the best of friends. I danced with Draco and then said my goodbyes to everyone, afterward I could finally go home.
I went back to the car and was greeted by Martin "Hello Ms. Aurora your parents plan to be staying longer and will be back apperating home," "That sounds good Martin, I'm really tired can we please just get home?" I said as I was slowly falling asleep in the backseat. When we arrived at Lancaster Manor I woke up and went to my bedroom fell onto my bed and immediately passed out.
