A Perfect life without her

Two Year Later

“Car is ready, Sir!” Noah said, while coming over to my lobby.

“Mam said, she will be attending the function with you,” he informed, following me as we both led to my garage.

“Send someone to pick her up too,” I replied, going through today’s stocks.

“I’ll take her to the company myself,” he said, taking the tablet from me and opening the door of my car.

“Are you two, announcing your engagement today Mr. Redmayne wants to know?” Noah asked, when driving.

“Maybe,” I murmured with a sigh looking over to Chicago's skyscraper. It’s been a year I’ve been promoted to this branch of the company.

“My life is perfect, I’m the stock king, dating the most beautiful woman Ivy Collins, nothing can be perfect then this,” I kept reciting the lines, I’d say to the press.

Noah pressed the brakes of the car suddenly, the tires of our car screeched and we both shifted forward with a jerk.
